About: I've been fortunate to always have pets in my life, and I currently have a 6 year old black cat named Salem. I've done dog sitting for friends and family in the past, and I've never met a doggo I didn't like. I work remotely as an engineer for a Montana-based company, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for drop in visits and overnight stays. I occasionally have to travel for work, but typically have at least a few weeks notice. Growing up, our family had six outdoor cats and two indoor cats, each with their own unique personalities. Living with so many cats taught me how to recognize their different needs, respect their boundaries, and earn their trust. One of our cats had Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, which gave me experience caring for a cat with special health considerations and reinforced the importance of paying close attention to an animal's well-being and daily routine. About: Since I was 10 I’ve taken care of the pets in my family. Bunnies, dogs, cats, fish, gerbils and mice. I’ve given baths, taken dogs on runs, cuddled with kittens, played with bunnies. I’ve had to give medication to animals before. I’m quite active (trail runner) and really open to anything. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I work remote from home as a video editor and I get to decide my own schedule and hours everyday. That means I get to prioritize your pet or home first! I’ve grown up with animals all my life - so I suppose at this point it is just second nature to be around them. I make sure not to leave often, especially in the first 48 hours, so that I can help keep your pets relax as you leave. I try to spend a lot of intentional time with them up front so they get to know me and trust me. I once had to walk a dog 5 times between 10pm and 2am because it was nervous, but by the next day we were best friends. It just takes time and patience.
About: Born and raised among the pack lol I’ve had critters ever since I can remember. We’ve always had dogs-multiple at a time-as well as cats and horses. I’ve given shots, administered meds, clipped claws, cleaned litter boxes, dog kennels, stalls and everything in between. My entire home is open to pups (human beds and furniture), but will adhere to any rules you have in your home. My neighborhood has a lot of kids and other dogs around, as well as large common areas for running around. Can administer medication via treats or orally. Have experience working with dogs on- and off-leash, as well as in packs. Will be able to transport pups in a roomy vehicle all around town and beyond. My daily schedule is pretty flexible, and I'm open to hosting pups in my house or dropping in at the comfort of your pup's own home. Tell me all about your furry friend. About: WE LOVE DOGS! Heidi has been training dogs in some capacity since the age of 8 years old and has been pet/farm sitting for many years. Heidi is an attentive sitter who has also been a licensed veterinary technician since 2011. About: I had two labs growing up, since I was in 3rd grade. My parents taught me how to properly walk, training and feed the dogs. Also, having fun and playing! I am an early riser so I enjoy morning walks. I would love to hang with your pup morning and evening. I work in the healthcare industry! I love helping people. I will be available all day Saturdays. I don’t own any pets, I will in the future. I respect fences, and toys that are easy on the dogs mouth. Keeping a clean environment for you and your dog is important to me. About: I've taken care of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens since I was a kid. My mother worked at an animal shelter so we always had fosters around to care for and socialize. I've also had dogs and cats as family pets for as long as I can remember. I work long shifts as a package delivery driver Sunday-Wednesday so I am only available for walks/pet sitting Thursday-Saturday evening. I love animals though and am super excited to make some new pals! Unfortunately I can't have clients pets stay at my place but while I'm at their owners house/out for a walk the animal will remain leashed and have my full attention.
About: I’ve always loved pets and animals and after moving to Missoula am missing the two dogs I had with my younger sister so I’m looking for pets to connect with and care for while I don’t have any of my own. I work for Competitive Timing, a company that runs electronic timing for races and other running events. About: Born and raised among the pack lol I’ve had critters ever since I can remember. We’ve always had dogs-multiple at a time-as well as cats and horses. I’ve given shots, administered meds, clipped claws, cleaned litter boxes, dog kennels, stalls and everything in between. I absolutely adore critters, so you can put your mind to rest knowing your fur babies will be treated as if they were my own. I own my own business so my hours are very flexible and I can move them accordingly! I can be around your critters 100% of the time, giving around the clock love, scratches, and adventure. About: I am a reliable dog and cat sitter, and have several friends and coworkers who can attest to this. Pet sitting brings me so much joy! Unfortunately I’m not in a place to have pets of my own, so I thought this would be a great way to spend time with animals and make some extra cash! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have 2 large breed dogs. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and many different temperaments, as well as working with reactive dogs on leash. I worked for a short while in the boarding portion of a vet clinic and have experience with overnight care of dogs and cats who needed very specific care such as specific foods and medications. I currently work part time, mostly remote and have flexible hours so I can fit home visits and dog walks pretty easily into my day. I live in Hamilton, so the closer you are to Hamilton the more likely it would be that I could help with short notice. I have a car and am happy to drive your pup to the park. I am usually unavailable on weekends but could most likely make something work Monday through Friday! I cannot have dogs at my house but I am available to come to your house for visits during the day (I need to be home with my own pups overnight) and could spend a few hours there working remotely if they need a little more time together. I would love to get them out for a walk or even short hike as well!

“Barbara is amazing! Total peace of mind if your pup is in her care. She took great care of our high energy border collie Willow for a week. Willow unfortunately had a paw injury a few days prior to our trip, I was so anxious about leaving my baby when she's hurting. BUT Barb went above and beyond to provide excellent care, give medication, and was even able to remove Willow's bandage per vet orders when needed. She kept in great communication with me the entire time and provided daily pictures and updates. I absolutely recommend Barb for all your dog sitting needs. She truly treats them like family.”
