She was also very flexible with me, as I had to change dates around on her a bit. Glacier has to receive zinc pills and Teresa was great about giving him his pills as he came home completely healthy. She also kept me updated on the long hikes they took together. I definitely will be asking her to watch over Glacier in the future.”
About: I have previously owned Labradoodles so I have 18 years of experience with high energy dogs. I also have experience in taking care of dogs who require extra medical care. I love to walk, hike and go for runs with dogs but most importantly, I can give them love and attention while you are away. “Leah treated my dog Boo like a king. I couldn't have been happier about his stay with her, and neither could Boo. Leah's a great communicator-I received daily feedback of what they were doing, where they went, and reports on his behavior, how he got along with her dogs, and pictures(!). She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! I would definitely use Leah again and felt super comfortable about her taking care of my buddy. Highly recommended. Thank you Leah-from both of us! You're awesome!”

About: I LOVE DOGS! I have been training dogs in some capacity since I was 8 years old and pet/farm sitting for many years. As a licensed veterinary technician since 2011, I have plenty of experience not only caring for your pet but what to do if an emergency were to occur. I worked in an ER clinic for 10 years specifically and am well versed in how to deal with minor to major injuries or illnesses if that were to occur while you were away. We try to keep your pet's schedule the same as yours best we can. With Heidi currently working from home this is much more easily facilitated. Our home has a fenced yard for our own pups, dog friendly environment and no furniture off limits household. We do have one cat but she is good at reading dog energy in a room.

I've done dog sitting for friends and family in the past, and I've never met a doggo I didn't like. I work remotely as an engineer for a Montana-based company, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for drop in visits and overnight stays. I occasionally have to travel for work, but typically have at least a few weeks notice. Unfortunately unable to care for pets in my own home at this time, but I'm happy to stay overnight in yours if needed. Otherwise, happy to drop in during the day for visits, walks, etc.

About: Since I was 10 I’ve taken care of the pets in my family. Bunnies, dogs, cats, fish, gerbils and mice. I’ve given baths, taken dogs on runs, cuddled with kittens, played with bunnies. I’ve had to give medication to animals before. I’m quite active (trail runner) and really open to anything. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I work remote from home as a video editor and I get to decide my own schedule and hours everyday. That means I get to prioritize your pet or home first! I’ve grown up with animals all my life - so I suppose at this point it is just second nature to be around them. I make sure not to leave often, especially in the first 48 hours, so that I can help keep your pets relax as you leave. I try to spend a lot of intentional time with them up front so they get to know me and trust me. I once had to walk a dog 5 times between 10pm and 2am because it was nervous, but by the next day we were best friends. It just takes time and patience.

I don’t own any pets, I will in the future. I respect fences, and toys that are easy on the dogs mouth. Keeping a clean environment for you and your dog is important to me. About: I have had pets in my life since I was in diapers. They are my emotional support animals, my friends, and my family. I am sitting here typing this while my 9 month old lab sleeps on my lap. I am a compassionate and patient person, and I also really enjoy going on long walks :) I currently make my own schedule and it is different than most peoples. Which works out great for pet sitting. I am available multiple days a week if needed. I have a fenced in yard, and a very friendly black lab. I will love your pet's, but I will also give them space if they need it. I can take your pet around the block, or on a 5 mile hike. I am obsessed with my pets, so I know what its like to trust someone else to care for them.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have 2 large breed dogs. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and many different temperaments, as well as working with reactive dogs on leash. I worked for a short while in the boarding portion of a vet clinic and have experience with overnight care of dogs and cats who needed very specific care such as specific foods and medications. I currently work part time, mostly remote and have flexible hours so I can fit home visits and dog walks pretty easily into my day. I live in Hamilton, so the closer you are to Hamilton the more likely it would be that I could help with short notice. I have a car and am happy to drive your pup to the park. I am usually unavailable on weekends but could most likely make something work Monday through Friday! I cannot have dogs at my house but I am available to come to your house for visits during the day (I need to be home with my own pups overnight) and could spend a few hours there working remotely if they need a little more time together. I would love to get them out for a walk or even short hike as well!

About: I was born and raised in the bitterroot valley and have never left! I have house and pet sat since I was 12 and have always loved it. I’ve cared for pets as well as livestock such as chickens, goats, and even horses and a donkey! Aside for animals, I have cared for house plants and gardens. I am happy to clean your house and make it my priority to leave everything better than I found it! I can stay overnight night or perform simple daily checkups. And if all you need is someone to walk the dog (or dogs!) I’d love to take them for a stroll to the park or along a quiet river path! About: I’ve always loved pets and animals and after moving to Missoula am missing the two dogs I had with my younger sister so I’m looking for pets to connect with and care for while I don’t have any of my own. “Leah treated my dog Boo like a king. I couldn't have been happier about his stay with her, and neither could Boo. Leah's a great communicator-I received daily feedback of what they were doing, where they went, and reports on his behavior, how he got along with her dogs, and pictures(!). She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! About: I LOVE DOGS! I have been training dogs in some capacity since I was 8 years old and pet/farm sitting for many years. As a licensed veterinary technician since 2011, I have plenty of experience not only caring for your pet but what to do if an emergency were to occur. I worked in an ER clinic for 10 years specifically and am well versed in how to deal with minor to major injuries or illnesses if that were to occur while you were away. We try to keep your pet's schedule the same as yours best we can. With Heidi currently working from home this is much more easily facilitated. Our home has a fenced yard for our own pups, dog friendly environment and no furniture off limits household. We do have one cat but she is good at reading dog energy in a room.
