About: I have been caring for animals since pet sitting for my aunt and uncle’s 3 rowdy dogs as a teen, sometimes up to a month when they went on long trips. I also have cared for dogs of my own for most of my adult life and consider them to be members of the family. About: I am a full-time journalist who loves to get out on the weekends! I’m originally from Alaska and spend every opportunity I can getting outside with my 15-year-old border collie. I work from home and stay with the animals all day. We wake up early for potty breaks first thing in the morning. Dogs are allowed on the furniture for ultimate snuggles! I have a fenced yard with plenty of animal friends to keep your pet occupied and comfortable. The house is also large enough that if your animal needs space, we can cordon off an area for them to have peace and quiet.

My entire home is open to pups (human beds and furniture), but will adhere to any rules you have in your home. My neighborhood has a lot of kids and other dogs around, as well as large common areas for running around. Can administer medication via treats or orally. Have experience working with dogs on- and off-leash, as well as in packs. Will be able to transport pups in a roomy vehicle all around town and beyond. About: I have been working at a dog kennel for the past 2 years now, and I absolutely love it! My responsibilities include walking dogs, feeding, cleaning, and administering medication. I feel very comfortable around all kinds of dogs, and I know how to properly work with dogs with different personalities and needs. I work at the dog kennel 3-4 days a week but I am available in the morning, evenings, and overnight if needed. On the days I do not work I am available all day to walk and socialize with pets. I have a trip planned in August, so July and September are more open for me. In my home I have two dogs who are friendly and love company, we also have a big yard and lots of cozy dog beds. I am also available to stay at the pets home since that is usually more comfortable for them. I have house sat many times and dogs are often happier when they are in a familiar space. When I house sit I make sure to maintain a clean and safe environment within the home for the family and for the pets.
