“Teresa was absolutely great with Glacier. Glacier stayed with her for a week and he came home one happy and tired pup. Which says a lot because it takes a lot to make a husky tired. She was also very flexible with me, as I had to change dates around on her a bit. Glacier has to receive zinc pills and Teresa was great about giving him his pills as he came home completely healthy. She also kept me updated on the long hikes they took together. I definitely will be asking her to watch over Glacier in the future.”

Willow unfortunately had a paw injury a few days prior to our trip, I was so anxious about leaving my baby when she's hurting. BUT Barb went above and beyond to provide excellent care, give medication, and was even able to remove Willow's bandage per vet orders when needed. She kept in great communication with me the entire time and provided daily pictures and updates. I absolutely recommend Barb for all your dog sitting needs. She truly treats them like family.”

We have a dog and we take very good care of her, we have had her for a long time and we would love to dog sit for others! Both of us are working part time with schedules that don’t conflict so someone is always able to be home, we are up at 5:45 every morning to let our dog out and consistently walking her. We hang out with our dog, cuddle with her and give her tons of belly rubs and snuggles on the couch, or in her crate, we let her one our patio to soak up the sun and take her into our massive grass dog area to play with other dogs and go potty.

About: I've been fortunate to always have pets in my life, and I currently have a 6 year old black cat named Salem. I've done dog sitting for friends and family in the past, and I've never met a doggo I didn't like. I work remotely as an engineer for a Montana-based company, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for drop in visits and overnight stays. I occasionally have to travel for work, but typically have at least a few weeks notice. Unfortunately unable to care for pets in my own home at this time, but I'm happy to stay overnight in yours if needed. Otherwise, happy to drop in during the day for visits, walks, etc.

About: Cats have always been a huge part of my life, and I've been caring for them since I was a kid. Growing up, our family had six outdoor cats and two indoor cats, each with their own unique personalities. Living with so many cats taught me how to recognize their different needs, respect their boundaries, and earn their trust. One of our cats had Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, which gave me experience caring for a cat with special health considerations and reinforced the importance of paying close attention to an animal's well-being and daily routine. I also have experience caring for cats in their own homes. Last summer, I looked after a family friend's cat while they spent two months in Greece, making sure their cat stayed happy, healthy, and on a consistent routine. I also house-sat for a colleague for two weeks while they were traveling across the country. About: Since I was 10 I’ve taken care of the pets in my family. Bunnies, dogs, cats, fish, gerbils and mice. I’ve given baths, taken dogs on runs, cuddled with kittens, played with bunnies. I’ve had to give medication to animals before. I’m quite active (trail runner) and really open to anything. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I work remote from home as a video editor and I get to decide my own schedule and hours everyday. That means I get to prioritize your pet or home first! I’ve grown up with animals all my life - so I suppose at this point it is just second nature to be around them. I make sure not to leave often, especially in the first 48 hours, so that I can help keep your pets relax as you leave. I try to spend a lot of intentional time with them up front so they get to know me and trust me. I once had to walk a dog 5 times between 10pm and 2am because it was nervous, but by the next day we were best friends. It just takes time and patience.
About: Hello! I’ve been around animals my whole life! My family and I currently have 6 dogs and 2 cats, pigs and 2 horses I’m really active so my dogs are to. I’m currently working full time but would love to do stuff after and before work or dog sit overnight! I’ll make any schedule work for the animals. My entire home is open to pups (human beds and furniture), but will adhere to any rules you have in your home. My neighborhood has a lot of kids and other dogs around, as well as large common areas for running around. Can administer medication via treats or orally. Have experience working with dogs on- and off-leash, as well as in packs. Will be able to transport pups in a roomy vehicle all around town and beyond. My daily schedule is pretty flexible, and I'm open to hosting pups in my house or dropping in at the comfort of your pup's own home. Tell me all about your furry friend. About: WE LOVE DOGS! Heidi has been training dogs in some capacity since the age of 8 years old and has been pet/farm sitting for many years. Heidi is an attentive sitter who has also been a licensed veterinary technician since 2011. Having worked in emergency medicine and critical care for over a decade she has gained a variety of skills and a multitude of knowledge about what to do in an emergency. We both feel very comfortable with medication administration (oral, injectable, topical, etc.) as well as monitoring for health concerns while you are away. We are also well versed in how to deal with minor to major injuries or illnesses if that were to occur while you were away. We try to keep your pet's schedule the same as yours best we can. With Heidi currently working from home this is much more easily achieved. Our home has a fenced yard for our own pups, dog friendly environment and no furniture off limits household. We do have one cat but she is good at reading dog energy in a room.

I grew up in the remote country of Wisconsin, with a bunch of farm animals, as well as cats and dogs. Growing up with pets, and farm animals is crucial for knowing animals. I'm always taking my roommates dog for walks, and to the dog park. We have a big fenced in yard in the heart of Missoula. Meru (my roommates female dog) is really friendly and loves all other cats and dogs. I would focus my energy on your dogs and cats of course, but if Meru and your dogs cross paths they'll be best friends for the day. About: I was born and raised in the bitterroot valley and have never left! I have house and pet sat since I was 12 and have always loved it. I’ve cared for pets as well as livestock such as chickens, goats, and even horses and a donkey! Aside for animals, I have cared for house plants and gardens. And if all you need is someone to walk the dog (or dogs!) I’d love to take them for a stroll to the park or along a quiet river path! About: I have had pets in my life since I was in diapers. They are my emotional support animals, my friends, and my family. I am sitting here typing this while my 9 month old lab sleeps on my lap. About: I’ve always loved pets and animals and after moving to Missoula am missing the two dogs I had with my younger sister so I’m looking for pets to connect with and care for while I don’t have any of my own. I work for Competitive Timing, a company that runs electronic timing for races and other running events. Because of that, I’m often gone traveling on weekends but during the weekdays I’m free to do whatever it is your pets would need and keep up their normal routine. About: I am a reliable dog and cat sitter, and have several friends and coworkers who can attest to this. Pet sitting brings me so much joy! Unfortunately I’m not in a place to have pets of my own, so I thought this would be a great way to spend time with animals and make some extra cash! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have 2 large breed dogs. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and many different temperaments, as well as working with reactive dogs on leash. I worked for a short while in the boarding portion of a vet clinic and have experience with overnight care of dogs and cats who needed very specific care such as specific foods and medications. I currently work part time, mostly remote and have flexible hours so I can fit home visits and dog walks pretty easily into my day. I live in Hamilton, so the closer you are to Hamilton the more likely it would be that I could help with short notice. I have a car and am happy to drive your pup to the park. I am usually unavailable on weekends but could most likely make something work Monday through Friday! I cannot have dogs at my house but I am available to come to your house for visits during the day (I need to be home with my own pups overnight) and could spend a few hours there working remotely if they need a little more time together. I would love to get them out for a walk or even short hike as well!
About: I've been fortunate to always have pets in my life, and I currently have a 6 year old black cat named Salem. I've done dog sitting for friends and family in the past, and I've never met a doggo I didn't like. I work remotely as an engineer for a Montana-based company, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for drop in visits and overnight stays. I occasionally have to travel for work, but typically have at least a few weeks notice. “Barbara is amazing! Total peace of mind if your pup is in her care. She took great care of our high energy border collie Willow for a week. Willow unfortunately had a paw injury a few days prior to our trip, I was so anxious about leaving my baby when she's hurting. BUT Barb went above and beyond to provide excellent care, give medication, and was even able to remove Willow's bandage per vet orders when needed. She kept in great communication with me the entire time and provided daily pictures and updates. I absolutely recommend Barb for all your dog sitting needs. She truly treats them like family.”

About: We loving hiking, running and going on walks And we would love to take care of your dog! We have a dog and we take very good care of her, we have had her for a long time and we would love to dog sit for others! Both of us are working part time with schedules that don’t conflict so someone is always able to be home, we are up at 5:45 every morning to let our dog out and consistently walking her. We hang out with our dog, cuddle with her and give her tons of belly rubs and snuggles on the couch, or in her crate, we let her one our patio to soak up the sun and take her into our massive grass dog area to play with other dogs and go potty.
