About: My husband and I are furtunate enough to work from home. Along with our adult daughter, we take pleasure in caring for, and showering love on, our furry guests. I began my career as a professional dog trainer/behaviorist in Southern California in 1996. It wasn't until after our move to Las Vegas in 2002 that my business was truly established. However, in 2011, we unexpectedly uprooted and moved to Houston, TX, and found myself heading into a new venture in the dog industry. During our 9 years in Texas, I become involved with other canine endeavors, including competing in AKC Conformation with our Akitas and Whippets and occasionally assisting in breed-specific and all-breed rescue organizations. After moving to northwest Mississippi in August 2020, we decided to continue offering our boarding and pet care services because of how much we enjoy it. In addition to playing with dogs, I have a part-time position in my home, which enables me to give each of our canine guests plenty of attention. My husband works full-time from home and is always available as a backup in case I have to run off to an appointment. Also living in our home are our two young adult daughters, Beth & Rachel. We are all dog lovers who also happen to be "dog-wise". Our own dogs are friendly and well-behaved and enjoy having fur-friends come to visit. Admittedly, we do have a good amount of dogs, but we have established a great routine and, if our fur-guest isn't too sure at first, we have plenty of options in keeping dogs separated until our fur-guest feels comfortable and happy. We have a considerable amount of experience at pairing dogs in appropriate play groups according to size, temperament and activity level. Our home is situated on nearly 2 acres with about a half-acre securely fenced for dogs to play in. Our active guests will have tons of fun outside playing with each other and chasing squirrels, in addition to spending a large portion of the day and all night relaxing inside our home. Our more sedentary guests have plenty of laps, couch space, and dog beds to laze around on. While crates are a useful tool for keeping dogs comfortable and safe, especially during the brief periods nobody is home, rest assured your sweet babies will not be locked in a crate for long periods. We also have extensive experience with many types of animals, such as chickens, goats, donkeys and horses and offer drop-in visits, where we come to your home to feed, exercise, and interact with your pet(s) and/or farm animals. Our fee is "per visit" and is the same regardless of the number of pets/animals. Additionally, I offer house sitting on a case-by-case basis where I spend nights at your home. Again, our "per night" fee is the same regardless of the number and type of pets/animals in your home or on your property. However, a premium may be assessed if the care of livestock is fairly substantial. Currently, we are only serving the areas of Holly Springs, Byhalia, and Red Banks for drop-in visits but are available to drive longer distances for house sitting. Feel free to request more information. We have a securely fenced yard and friendly dogs to keep your dog company during the periods I am working in my home office. Our weekends are typically not very busy, but there are 4 of us available to love and care for your pet. We begin each day with a quick stretch of the legs and a potty break followed by breakfast then playtime outside. Dogs are divided into small groups according to size and play style then rotated between fun time in our fenced yard and relaxing in our home on dog beds and couches. Evenings are often spent playing family games or watching a movie. For bedtime, dogs can sleep in our rooms, on the couch, or in their crate, depending on where they're most comfortable.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a little girl. I love all kinds of animals but especially dogs. I promise to do nothing but the best for your sweet baby. I work part-time at a doggie grooming salon and get to have more experience with animals every day. Animals are my passion and I plan to do this for the rest of my life. I have a small dog in my home with a small crate. At the clients home I would keep eyes on the baby at all times.

About: I have been pet sitting/ dog walking for almost 7 years now, and I absolutely love it! As a huge animal person, I can confidently say that pets are my passion! I want to love your furbaby like I love my own! I would love to take care of any needs you may have. Feel free to ask any questions! I am a junior at Ole Miss. I mostly have online classes, so I am free a lot! I am also free for overnight housesitting needs! I have 2 dogs back home in Georgia and I miss them so much! They are the happiest pups ever! My roommates and I have a Golden Retriever that we adopted last year! As far as boarding and doggy daycare goes, he would love to play with your pup, but they can also be easily separated if needed! I have so much love for pets, and would love to share so much love to yours!

About: Having been a dog lover since childhood, I’ve always had dog sitting gigs for a side hustle. I also managed a professional boarding kennel for 5 years where I learned to care for pets of all sizes, personalities and needs. I have two dogs of my own, West, my four year old trusty hunting black Labrador, and Tilly a nine year old German Shepherd mix. About: I had 1 dog for 2 years, and I have very flexible availability. I make sure your dog(s) enjoy their stay and time with me. Dog sitting is my passion. I love dogs. They are so fun to be with and play with. Also, I love to see when dogs wag their tails and lick their tongue out when you give them a treat when you are teaching them a trick and they get it right. My work schedule varies, but I am very flexible with my other job, so I can try my best to work with you and your dog(s) care. I don't have a fenced neighborhood, but I have an extra crate and bed for your dog(s) if they stay with me. My dog is super friendly and loves all other animals.

My passion is animal-assisted therapy because I’ve seen firsthand how much our furry friends can positively impact our lives. I grew up on a farm and have a dog of my own, so I understand that pets are family. I’ll make it my priority to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I also have experience working with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments through my time as a veterinary assistant. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra patience, I’m comfortable providing the care they need. I’m also happy to administer medications and help with other routine care if needed. I know how reassuring it is to receive updates while you’re away, so I’ll be sure to send plenty of photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and in good hands.
