About: I've been training small puppies with basic dog commands and crate training since 2014. I started my petting-sitting services in Berkeley, California. I love to walk, feed, bathe, and love puppies. I recently bought a house in Reform, Alabama, and I welcome my fur friends to join my Havanese AKC Woody Ivy and me. I'm currently in my Ph.D. program at The University of Alabama. I mostly attend classes twice a week while I am on campus. On the days I am not attending class, I am at home spending quality time with my puppy, gardening, and doing fun things around my house. I believe in constantly transitioning and supervising my puppy, offering different activities day and night. We have a routine that starts at 6 am. He goes potty and has the liberty to sniff trees or go back to sleep. He eats breakfast at 7 am, goes for a walk at 8 am and 6 pm CT (4 pm CST), plays until nap at 11a, lunch/snack at 1p, plays with toys until he is ready to play fetch, and is obedient training outside, and then we people watch on our porch (which he loves to do) while I read. We do everything together! And when the night is young, he goes to bed inside his crate, next to my bed, at 9 (ish) to rest up for another day of play.

Not only do I love to be around animals, but I also have the knowledge and patience to take care of their needs, healthcare, and wellbeing. I have always taken care of our family pets. The feeding, the grooming, and of course, the walks in the park and exercise :) For the past 6 years I have taken care of all my friends and relatives pets, when they go to travel, and even tend them when they get sick and need special treatment at home. Pet care fits well into my routine. I’m available for evening pet sitting and care in clients’ homes, and I also care for pets staying with me, where they aren’t left alone for long periods. On weekends, I’m available all day. I make sure pets receive consistent attention, care, and companionship so they feel comfortable and well cared for. I’m careful about safety, making sure doors and gates are secure and maintaining a clean, calm environment. “I'm really not a petty person. The reason I have waited so long to leave a review is because of this. Ashlynd did a very good job. With that being said, I paid $896.00 for 2 visits for 9 days. Ashlynd stay about 5 minutes each time. She also was putting the cat waste in the kitchen trash can. My house smelled bad compared to what I normally smell. I know this because I went over the footage of my nanny cam. She clocked in and out at the appropriate time but didn't stay for the 30 minutes that was said. I know my cats are not to social but if she stayed they would have come out more. I really like her but I will never pay that much again. In fact I believe I should get some kind of refund because she didn't stay that long.”

I have 3 fish, 2 dogs (Husky and Australian shepherd), and 1 chameleon! Haha I have house sit for friends and family who own cats as well. I love playing and taking them for walks and just cuddling! I am a full time student so the majority of my time is spent online doing school but I am in pilot training so I fly for a couple hours everyday, but other than that I'll be home the majority of my time. I can't offer services in my own home because my husky is reactive towards other dogs. I can care for the animals in your home though. I am very respectful and can stick to pretty much any schedule the animals need.

About: My dog Lucy and I love to play. We go for 30-minute walks (at least) every day, run around and play fetch in the backyard, and play tug of war with her toys throughout the day. We would love for your pet to join us! When I was little, I was the hired pet sitter in the neighborhood, plus I also had my own pets growing up. As an adult, I've had my own pets and have been hired to pet-sit for several friends' dogs and cats, both short- and long-term gigs, over the years. I have experience administering oral medication to both dogs and cats and some dog grooming experience (although grooming is not my passion, ha). Weekends are when I consistently have the most time to focus on your pet, but I sometimes have some availability on weekdays. Just ask and I'll see what I can do! We have a fenced-in backyard (tall wooden fence) that is the size of an additional lot. The yard has a few shade trees and is mostly open grass. We have several toys to play with, both in the backyard and inside, including a water sprinkler. Your dog will not be left unattended in my care unless I need to run an errand briefly and they are secured according to your instructions (crated, etc.) We have a large dog crate your dog can use if you'd like so you don't have to bring yours back and forth. There are several safe places to go for walks nearby with lots of grassy areas.
