Even as an adult, I used to find puppies. or they found me and find good homes for them. I found a dog once they had a massive collar embedded in their neck. My family has always taken in animals who were struggling and needed a helping hand; that is how I ended up with my senior dog Petey. During covid I happened to scroll across an adoption post on a small, old chihuahua. Immediately, I knew I had to go get this dog. He was the best companion and he sadly passed away in 2025. I live in Hernando with my wonderful girlfriend Hannah, who is also an extreme animal lover herself. We now have two adorable and loving cats thanks to her. Their names are Spooky and Java. Spooky came from an adoption event that was posted at petco and Java happened to be caught from a gas station. Our newest addition to the family is our German shepherd named Heidi. We adopted her from a local animal shelter and have loved her ever since! We currently both have full time jobs. Hannah currently works Tuesday-Thursday overnight shifts at the hospital, but I am free everyday after 4:30 pm. Our schedules are completely free on the weekend. If you are trying to get out the house and are looking for a sitter, we would be glad to help ease the stress of being away from your pet(s) 😊 Since we work opposite schedules, your pets (and ours) will always have one of us readily available. Jewels is actually my sister's dog but she was born on my birthday and we've been inseparable since the first day I laid eyes on her. About: I've always taken care of pets since I was at least 12 I've pet sitted, I've walked dogs for elderly owners,I've ran errands such as taking the dog to the groomers for people who cannot take them themselves. I've pet sat for a family over 2 years and I also have done overnight sitting wether It be my home or the pet owners home, if the furry one needs meds I also administer it if the furry parent is fine with it. I have an apartment so it's pretty small but I always take the furry one's to a dog park and walk them and play with them they seem to enjoy a more open concept ( if pet parents are fine with it) than a fenced yard and they have more fun. I run with them in the mornings and evenings(if staying overnight). I also have kids and will not sit or stay with a pet who is not welcoming of kids I'm a hardworking mother so of my kids aren't welcomed I cant provide a service. I’m working part time so I have all the time to pay attention to the specific caring and handling of your prize possessions. I’m available for night calls as well if you want to get away for a while I’m available. I have a lot of things that dogs would love in my home. From various snacks to toys and anything your pet may need I will provide. I keep my training sessions short. Although training classes are often one hour long, that's not the goal for at-home sessions. I also have to Spread training throughout the day, use rewards other than food and I won’t let walks go to waste. I have a dog of my own so I understand the importance of safety and wanting to make sure that your pups are well taken care. Every animal I come in contact with I take exceptional care of them. They will not go out with other dogs unless you request group play- if you request group play they will go out with dogs their size/energy level and will be strictly supervised to make sure they are a good match.
