About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I've had pets since I was little and have spent years caring for dogs, cats. My love for animals is what inspired me to start completing my prerequisites for veterinary school. I've also had the opportunity to work in a veterinary clinic, ongoing for three and a half years, where I have gained hands-on experience caring for animals and learning even more about their health and well-being. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know each pet's personality and building trust with both them and their owners. I have experience in administering medications both orally and by injection, caring for senior dogs who need a little extra patience, attention, and gentle handling. I also know how to groom, including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and basic haircuts to help keep pets clean, comfortable, and looking their best. Whether your pet loves to play, prefers quiet cuddles, or just needs someone dependable to stick to their routine, I'll care for them like they're part of my own family. About: I joined the crazy cat lady club 6 years ago and now have 3! I completely understand the nature of a cat and recognize how different they are from dogs and how little appreciation they get from the pet community. I have frequently checked in on my friends’ and parents’ cats over the years to feed, cuddle, and play while they have been out of town. I am deeply passionate about cat care because of my own cats. I know I would want someone like myself to care for my own cats while I was away so that I don’t have to worry about them as much (because the worrying will still persist with these feline personalities). About: I've been around cats my entire life and genuinely enjoy earning their trust and getting to know each one's unique personality. Through my experience working in a veterinary clinic while pursuing my degree in veterinary medicine, I've learned how to safely handle cats, recognize when something isn't quite right, and help keep them calm and comfortable. About: I have always loved and cared for all animals, my family has consistently kept at least 1 dog and 1 cat in the household, and I became an active caretaker of our animals around age 9. Although I began with my family pets, I have consistently taken care of others animals for 2 years. In that time I have worked with many dog sizes and their resulting personalities. Additionally I have experience handling multiple animals at once. I enjoy getting to know each animal and finding what they like and need. I keep things calm and consistent so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I am in college, so my schedule is subject to change—please check my calendar for the most up-to-date availability. I will be traveling between Starkville and Laurel areas in Mississippi. I live in town and like to keep dogs (and myself) active with regular walks and time outside. I pay attention to how each pet behaves so I can adjust to what they’re comfortable with, whether that’s pace, distance, or time.
