In 2019, I made a Facebook post about my dog sitting that caught many people’s attention. I had many responses that led to lots of pet sitting that summer. Every summer since 2019, my schedule has been completely booked up with pet sitting in my area. I have experience with small dogs, big dogs, puppies, older dogs, and cats. I have experience giving both oral and injectable medications. I have spent time volunteering at the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County, Southern Pines Animal Shelter, and the West Memphis Animal Shelter. I am very comfortable being around both dogs and cats, understanding their body language, and caring for them. I am a social work graduate student in the North MS area. I have an internship 3 days a week and class 2 nights per week. My best availability is Friday-Monday, because I don’t have class or internship on those days. About: I have been pet sitting since middle school, studied animals in school and have owned a multitude of pets over the years. So I can say that I have a passion & experience when it comes to taking care of animals. This is more than just watching someone’s dog or cat. I have been there for people & pets during the happiest and saddest days of their lives so I take pride in watching over your pets & home. I also know that leaving town can be stressful at times for yourself and your pets…let’s be honest they know you are leaving them. Boarding can be a great answer, but I definitely feel like it is best when pets can stay in the comfort of their own home. I am able to help with that! I have 2 active dogs currently so I am pretty used to it all. Most of my time, money and energy is devoted to taking care of my dogs so I can assure I will be able to handle mostly any pet situation. I am even able to take trash out to the street, grab packages/mail etc! I'm completely available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for visits, drop-ins, or extended care. I take care to keep toxic plants, foods, and loose wires out of reach, and I maintain clean litter boxes and bowls throughout my visits. If certain pets cannot share a space, I will follow your instructions closely to keep everyone safe and comfortable. In case of emergencies, I have a reliable vehicle that pets can safely ride in if transportation is needed.
