One is newly diagnosed diabetic, and she took the time to come over ahead to learn how to give the insulin so I had no worries when I was away for a week! She and her husband Phil spoiled them and treated them like their own family! She made them special a special treat and I got a nice printed picture of them and it looks like they were living their best life! I will definitely be booking her again!!”

About: I have a half acre fenced in yard, a 20x10 run pen, have fostered senior dogs and puppies for the shelter near us, I have worked with trainers before on how to get tips for our own dogs so I can be better equipped to care of others as well. I can also care for almost any animal at my house while you need a sitter. Small to tall! (Sorry I don’t have the set up for horses) Fish to big and small dogs, all the way to reptiles! I have experience with all of them. Daily, your animal will be watched 24/7. I strive to make sure every animal in my care is cared for like my own. So, your animal will never be left for more than a hour or two (the occasional doctors appointment). They will also be taken care of just like my own in they will get PLENTY of exercise! My dogs and dogs I watch are crated when we are not home. (Of course without collars on!) I spend at the very least 2 hours per day exercising with my dogs in the backyard. High energy dogs need outlets! I have experience from Yorkies to Shepherds to Belgians.

About: I am flexible with any care your pet may need. I have a direct line to a vet clinic where I also work at. I also accept pets with prescribed medications or special needs. Exotics are also welcome, and I provide services for large animal such as horses, livestock, and/or farm animals! I try to be as flexible as possible to work around my schedule. I go to school so most visits would be extended afternoon visits, but weekends would be completely open. I require detailed and clear instructions of the exact care you want your pet to have. Such as do they have specific feed or potty times etc. all written on a hard copy. I take your special care needs seriously and like to make sure everything is done correctly; therefore, please be available to answer a text or phone call at any time.

About: I’ve taken care of cats of all ages my entire life! We had kittens growing up, in the house and through our neighborhood. As an adult, I’ve got three healthy beautiful girls (Kimchi, Olive and Maple) that are so deeply loved and I also cat sit for friends while they are out of town! I’ll stick to any feeding schedule they need, clean litter boxes and will administer any medications they might need.

About: I have had and loved dogs for more than 20 years. I specialize in small to medium size. I only care for one to three dogs. Keeping it small allows for more attention and a great experience. Se habla espanol. I'm a "stay-at-home." My schedule is flexible and caring for pets really fulfills my day. I can board on weekends and possibly holidays. My home is cozy and your dog stays on a soft bed right in the family room. Cages are not used unless you request and provide. Outside, I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to play fetch or chase the occasional butterfly. I enjoy gardening and dogs love to be outside.

We go for 30-minute walks (at least) every day, run around and play fetch in the backyard, and play tug of war with her toys throughout the day. We would love for your pet to join us! When I was little, I was the hired pet sitter in the neighborhood, plus I also had my own pets growing up. As an adult, I've had my own pets and have been hired to pet-sit for several friends' dogs and cats, both short- and long-term gigs, over the years. I have experience administering oral medication to both dogs and cats and some dog grooming experience (although grooming is not my passion, ha). Weekends are when I consistently have the most time to focus on your pet, but I sometimes have some availability on weekdays. Just ask and I'll see what I can do! We have a fenced-in backyard (tall wooden fence) that is the size of an additional lot. The yard has a few shade trees and is mostly open grass. We have several toys to play with, both in the backyard and inside, including a water sprinkler. Your dog will not be left unattended in my care unless I need to run an errand briefly and they are secured according to your instructions (crated, etc.) We have a large dog crate your dog can use if you'd like so you don't have to bring yours back and forth. There are several safe places to go for walks nearby with lots of grassy areas.

Although I began with my family pets, I have consistently taken care of others animals for 2 years. In that time I have worked with many dog sizes and their resulting personalities. I keep things calm and consistent so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I am in college, so my schedule is subject to change—please check my calendar for the most up-to-date availability. I will be traveling between Starkville and Laurel areas in Mississippi. I live in town and like to keep dogs (and myself) active with regular walks and time outside. I pay attention to how each pet behaves so I can adjust to what they’re comfortable with, whether that’s pace, distance, or time. I will follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet stays safe and your home is respected. I will also keep communication clear to ensure you are aware of any events.
