One is a 13 year old male who is deaf, very attached to his people, and has been aging quickly the last few months. The other is a female that isn't quite 2. She has all the energy of a puppy, requires patience and guidance, and has never been boarded before. Both dogs were well loved and cared for even with their idiosyncrasies. They seemed to have a great time. Victoria sent daily updates and my daughter (who is very attached to her puppies) loved seeing her "babies" while we were away. My husband and I are helicopter parents about our babies who have very specific and different needs including our boy cat who needs to be medicated and is a very picky eater. Lucas sent us very frequent updates on the state of our cat's appetite and how things were going. In the past, we have come home to find our cat has either lost weight or has liquid medication smeared on his fur from medication difficulties. When we came home our boy cat looked the best he's ever looked after such a long stay with a house sitter. We can tell our cats felt very at home and comfortable with Lucas. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old. Ive spent my childhood and adulthood having them around to a point were life is not the same if they are not around. About: I am a huge animal lover. We have 3 cats and a shepherd mix dog. I also have a 4 and a 6 year old, so any animals must be good with other animals, kids and able to be crated at night as our dog is also crated. I love and have taken care of many animals and enjoy all fur babies! I am a graduate student so I am home most of the day besides an hour or so for class so fur babies are well cared for and get plenty of attention. My husband also WFH so someone is typically always home. Our yard is unfenced so dogs will have to be leashed for potty time. My dog is crated at night and when we’re not home. Our cats free roam the house, so we just ask that your pet is friendly with cats.

About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.

Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. “Erin did a great job taking care of my puppy for the weekend! When I went to drop Lottie off she brought her dog down so that they could meet on neutral territory, which was really nice and during the weekend she text me updates and pics every day. I liked that she only took one pet at a time in addition to hers, that made me feel much safer leaving my puppy there. I would definitely recommend and use her services again!”

“Where do I begin with this 5-star review of Kelly C??? This was Champ's 3rd visit with Kelly and her husband and we already knew our pup was in the best of hands! We felt very secure in leaving him with Kelly and her pack for a longer stay as we were traveling overseas. Well, thankfully he was in such trusted hands, because a few days into our trip, Champ, a German shepherd, developed bloat (GDV) which is life threatening and requiring emergency surgery. Sadly, this is all too common in larger breeds like Shepherds. Thanks to Kelly's and her husband's quick action (and with constant communication with us in a different time zone), Champ arrived at the emergency clinic in time, was immediately rushed into surgery, and the amazing specialists at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center in Columbia treated him successfully. Post surgery, Kelly and her husband took wonderful care of him in his recovery until we could return from our trip to a happy and healthy dog. Needless to say, we are incredibly thankful to have found Kelly and her family and can't say enough about how grateful we are to them! If we could give more than 5 stars, they would be difficult to count!”
“Lisa and her husband took care of our little girl for about 10 days. It’s always nerve racking leaving your baby with new people for that long. They were amazing!!! They would send pics/videos and text updates often but not too much. Dolce was well cared for and would absolutely use them again.”
