Personalized care for your dog or cat - Willow Brook

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Willow Brook
“Lindsay and her family are absolutely wonderful! She treats our dog, Sophia, like her own pet. Lindsay communicates often and provides us photos daily. Her children are very respectful of the dogs and enjoy cuddling with them! Already booked with Lindsay for our next trip.”

“Ashley was amazing! I had a sudden family emergency and she took such great care of my dog. She was very responsive, sent lots of cute pictures and updates, and was flexible when I had to extend my trip by a day. She also sent my pup home with a paw print with her name on it, which was super cute. I would definitely book with Ashley again!”

“Isha and Great took great care of our little dog recently. She came back happy and tired, which means they gave her a lot of love and attention. They also provided updates daily with photos. Highly recommend!”

“Bandit was so happy and calm when I picked him up. It was very clear he was comfortable and well taken care of! She took him on several walks and sent many pictures. He was a HAPPY BOY!!”

“We couldn’t have asked for better sitters for our first time leaving our pup. The care and attention given to our dog was absolutely amazing. It was so clear how much they genuinely loved him and treated him like their own. They even had a welcome sign with a menu and activities. It was adorable. We received thoughtful updates, pictures, and constant reassurance that he was happy and well cared for. Picking up a relaxed, content boy says everything. We are beyond grateful and would trust Kris & Eric again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend! 🐾💕”

“Laura was great with Atticus. He made plenty of new friends while he was with her, and she kept me updated with pictures while I was gone. Will definitely use her again”

“Ellie was BEYOND AMAZING. I've never left my dog (baby) with ANYONE other than close friends or family, and i'm very anxiously attached to her. I was very very nervous leading up to my trip, but the second my boyfriend and I met Ellie, we felt 10000 times better. She sent me so many photos, and kept me up to date on everything. The photos really made me feel more comfortable during the trip, I could tell she was very happy and comfortable. Also, anytime we leave Baby she almost always skips her lunch. Baby was eating both meals every single day which was a huge sign to me that Ellie made her comfortable and at home. I would recommend Ellie to everyone!! If you have any hesitations, set up a meet and greet and you will feel at ease the second you meet her. I can't thank Ellie enough, I was worried I wasn't going to be able to enjoy my vacation due to my worries but I wasn't worried for one second while I was away. 1,000/10, will be using Ellie in the future <3”

“She took wonderful care of our dog. Peachy was a little anxious and she handled it very well. Very responsive anytime I asked for an update and sent pictures of peachy after she got settled in. Will definitely book again if I need these services again.”

“Catherine was just awesome. We have a 10 lb jack Russell mix, Sammy, who is a very nervous, anxious little guy. When we went for our meet and greet, he just ran around and made himself at home. We have never left him with anyone other than family but I just felt extremely comfortable with Cathy and knew he would be good with her. She sent me some pics of him and kept me updated during his stay of 6 days. She keeps the large dogs separate from the smaller ones which was good for Sammy as he has not really been around other dogs much. She will definitely be my go to sitter from now on. If you choose to leave your pet with Cathy, you can relax and enjoy your trip because she will give him care, attention and all the love they need.”

“Jessica was great! We had a meet and greet a couple weeks before I was leaving so our dogs could meet and get to know each other. Drop off and pickup was simple and she sent pictures while I was gone to let me know they were all having a fun time. I would highly recommend Jessica and hope she is available for my next vacation.”

“Samantha provided a safe, clean and extra loving home to our dog while we were away! She was communicative, and sent updates and photos throughout the week. I can tell our pup was so loved and well cared for!! Thank you to you and your family!!”

“Gizmo is so at home with Rebecca. He feels just like one of the family with her. We are so grateful to have a sitter who takes such great care of him! Rebecca is excellent!”

“Sharon and Glen(Eric) were great with Peanut, He enjoyed himself with them so much. It was evident of that with all the pictures and updates Sharon sent. We were able to focus on our show and not worry that Peanut was doing ok. We will definitely ask them to board Peanut again in the future.”

“Robin was very understanding with our dog, Tabitha's needs - with her in mourning after the recent passing of our other dog, her closest companion and with us needing to be away from home for 8 days. Robin listened to all of the details of feeding and meds. Then she stayed in contact with us, updating us on Tabitha's adjustment to her new surroundings, sending great pics and playing the games she likes to play (FRISBE!) Robin was also VERY accomodating with our crazy flight schedules on drop off & pick up. Tabitha had such a good time she has returned to her joyful self! I highly reccomend Robin and she will be the first person we will reach out to the next time we need a dog sitter!”

“My puppy ended up giving her some troubles by going potty in her house. I offered to give her extra for the trouble as I didn’t expect him to do that. When I went to pick him up she said she would love to watch him again and they had fun with him. I will definitely be asking her again to watch my puppy when needed!”

I’m also comfortable caring for puppies who need extra attention and consistency, as well as senior pets who may need a calmer environment, medication reminders, or extra care. I will be home a lot and I love having the company I care for pets by keeping them safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I provide water, exercise, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention. I also follow any special instructions carefully and make sure pets feel loved and stress free while their owners are away.

About: Hi! I’m a full-time registered nurse looking to pick up some side gigs doing what I already love—caring for animals. I have a strong medical background and bring a calm, attentive, and responsible approach to pet care, including pets with medical needs or special instructions. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always been second nature to me. I’ve personally cared for cats and dogs for over 5+ years and feel comfortable with all sizes, breeds, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. Whether it’s walks or drop-ins, I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well taken care of while you’re away. I work as a Registered Nurse and find that working with animals helps recharge my compassion and social battery before my next shift. I work 3-4 days a week and like having the flexibility to pick up jobs through Rover when I am available. Each of my cats have their own special needs. I am comfortable giving medications to your pets if needed as well as brushing, bathing, going on walks, and of course giving lots of love and affection. I use a pet sitter myself when I am out of town and know how important it is to pawrents that their babies are safe. No matter the pet, big or small, I'm happy that you would trust me to care for them while you're away!

About: I’ve been taking care of my own cats as well as family, friends, and neighbors cats for over 15 years now. Anywhere from checking in on them to full on adopting them, I’ve done it all. My cat takes medications that I keep on top of, as well as clean her litter once, maybe twice a day.
About: I have three dogs, two wonderful twin golden retrievers that are 5 years old. They are my whole world and so are my sister and brother’s dogs/cats! My sister has been doing rover in KC for over 7 years so it’s been a great way to experience rover and the necessities for all kinds of pets. Additionally, I’ve been a volunteer at Unchained Melodies puppy nursery and KC Pet Project for the last few years <3 I’m currently a post-graduate student preparing for medical school here in a year so I have a lot of time for longer term pups. I’m preparing for work part-time as well in the fall but I have a very open and flexible schedule. I have helped dog sit for years now and of course I’ve taken care of my own dogs since they were just babies. Unfortunately, I’m unable, for the most part, to have animals stay at my house however, I’m open if necessary. I walk and feed my own dogs daily and they take a lot of space so I want them to feel comfortable in their own environment.

About: I'm a work from home professional with flexible hours. I have a 3 bedroom house with a large fenced in yard for puppies to run and potty (freely). I've cared for/owned dogs for over 15 years and make sure they stick to their routine of potty breaks/feeding/treat time! I don't mind coming to ones home and caring for their pets while they are away on business or enjoying some free time! I understand last minute trips and can squeeze you into my schedule. Every family member I have + most friends have dogs so I'm very familiar with how to care for and entertain pets whom I am new to! I'm so excited this is an option for extra income and I hope to meet your pups soon!
“My pup, Sage, had a great time hanging out here while I was at work. I was only in town for a week and Rae was very flexible with my schedule and drop off times for Sage in the morning. She sent me pictures throughout the day and kept me updated. Sage loved playing with all of the dogs and came home tuckered out from all the activity. I would definitely use Rae again in the future when Sage and I are in town on business.”

About: I have worked in veterinary Kennels and in shelters. I am also a certified Dog and Cat trainer through Animal Behavior College in 2013. I have been trained in animal first aide. I have a military I.D. so I can also care for military families as well! I come home on my lunch break to let the dogs run in the yard (we NEVER leave the dogs outside on their own for safety from hawks etc). The longest they are alone is 5 hours. Our live revolve around our own dogs so they will feel like one of the family in no time. We have a fenced .75 acre yard that we stay out with them for safety. Older pups will be carried on any stairs to prevent any falls. Kenneling is a part of our home for safety. But if we are home they are out. The dogs have their own room where they kennel that has safety film on the windows so they can benefit from the light but are not tormented by the squirrels in the trees. Cats are kept in their own area as well. I know how important your dog is and I will treat them the way I would want mine treated. With the exception of errands and taking kids to school I am home full time. We treat visitors as one of the pack. Often our visiting pups like to lounge on the couch when not supervised in the yard. I have a fenced yard and dogs are not left outside unattended (especially the little ones). We have a multi layered floor plan so if a dog needs to be alone for a bit we have the ability to do so.
About: Dogs must be ok in a kennel. 😊 I have worked on some level in animal welfare my entire life. Since 2013, I own & operate a licensed rescue for dogs. This has given me the opportunity to work with dogs hands on that vary in personalities & behaviors. I can manage dogs with medical and behavioral challenges. This is hard to find. I currently work from home allowing be flexibility to care for your pup(s)! I look forward to helping ease your mind for you know your dogs are safe. I have a 6' fenced yard with no climb fencing secured on the inside of it. I would not leave your dog(s) unattended in the yard regardless. I have my own dogs and I would crate and rotate your dog if needed. I am able to pet sit most any dog but I will need to be crate trained. We do rotations in my home. If your pooch is not crate trained, it will not be able to stay. I have a 6’ privacy fence with no climb fencing installed. We have a great play group of dogs for this that are ready to play. If not, your pooch can do solo play time.
“I need flexibility with my insane work schedule. Kayla and her husband provided that for me and much more. The love my fur babies like their own. I recommend these two awesome people for puppy sitting anytime!”

About: With a lifelong passion for animals, I bring extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently train and compete with my field-line Labrador in hunt test trials, honing my skills in advanced obedience and behavior understanding. As a dedicated student of animal behavior and various training methodologies, I offer more than just pet sitting—I provide enrichment and tailored care to suit each pet's needs. Whether it's managing puppy energy, reinforcing existing training, or understanding complex behaviors- I ensure your pet is engaged, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I work from home M-F and have plenty of time for frequent monitoring, and the ability to give ample airing time and potty breaks. My schedule includes regular breaks outside and daily walks around our acre yard and/or our neighborhood lakes. We have about 21k sqft of back yard of which about 10k is fenced. I own an 18 month black lab that is very playful, yet very gentle with his furry friends and humans, as well as two cats that generally keep to themselves and out of the way. About: For the last 4 years my husband and I have had 4 dogs. He often travels, so I am usually caring for them alone. We have a husky, 2 pit-husky mixes, and a Belgium shepherd. I trained the Belgium shepherd from puppy age, and she’s now the sweetest and best guard dog out there! Our dogs can be stubborn at times, and I’ve even had to break up a couple of dog fights. I am able to handle difficult situations if your dog is a little tougher or not as friendly. I have always loved animals, especially dogs because of their loyalty and cuteness. From small dogs to large- I can care for them however you need and will treat them like they’re my own! I recently quit my job because we moved, so I have all the free time in the world! I can be flexible and stay with your pet to play longer if you need. Since we currently have 4 dogs we are not taking any pets to stay with us. However, we have a barn and hope to be able to house dogs there some day!

I often sit down and watch TV or play video games, but I mostly enjoy writing and drawing in my free time I personally like to ask owners how there pets are in the company of others, as well as if any weather bugs them! The comfort of my pets, and owners is always my number 1 priority! I want to make sure that they are comfortable around me, and I never approach any animal until I’ve let them sniff me, it’s important that they trust me to be around them.

During Covid, I helped my aunt foster 3 rescue beagles as well as caring for her other two dogs. Since then, I have worked at multiple doggy daycare and boarding facilities and have pets of my own! I work 6am to 6pm every Tuesday-Friday so ideally, I’d need flexibility on drop-in visits for those days, but I have open availability on the weekends + Monday I am currently only providing drop-in visits which means your pet/s will stay in the comfort and safety of their own home. I always do meet n greets where the pet will be staying.
About: I am looking at getting a full time job when I can. For now, I would love to be doing this. I have had dogs all my life, so you learn how to take care of all sorts of breeds. I have also been able to take care of cats as well as horses. I currently am looking for a full time job, so I have open availability. Except Saturdays and Sundays. Got to have some days off, right!!! Taking care of pets at someone's home means feeding them, taking them outside, playing with them. I'm able to board and my dog would love the company.
About: I’m an active adventurous person ready to play with the dogs or take them on walks. I have helped family, friends and neighbors watch their dogs, whether it be just a check in or a week at a time! I work as a phlebotomist in my other times, help family and create crafts for my page! Seeing as I have a cat of my own, I make sure to put her into my daily schedule and make time for her to play with her and her as well as make sure her litter stays clean and her food and water bowl stay full! My cat is an indoor cat. Although she is aloof, she still loves to come cuddle and I always make sure that her food and water bowls are full, her litter is clean and her medicine is taken
About: "If you can look at a dog and not feel vicarious excitement and affection, you must be a cat." ~Terri Guillemets Love dogs (and animals in general, but dogs especially.) I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. In short, if either by choice or necessity you find yourself in need of a caretaker for your 4-legged (or more) companion(s), know that I would be elated for the opportunity and you can be assured that their health and well-being will invariably be at the forefront of my mind in all that I do while they're in my care. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you soon. "Lots of people talk to animals.... Not very many listen, though.... That's the problem." ~Benjamin Hoff, The Tao of Pooh

About: I grew up on a farm, so I was raised around animals. I volunteer at a wildlife rescue in Blue Springs, Missouri. I partner with them to transport and foster any wildlife in need. I'm a plant-based eater, I love animals so much I will not even eat them. I risk my own life to save animals. So when I say I'm an animal lover I absolutely mean that 100%. I have six cats, one Dog, four Snakes, one Bearded Dragon, one Tarantula, 2 fish, 2 mice and a disabled footless Rooster as pets. They mean the world to me. I would go without before they would. Growing up my parents were AKC dog breeders . We had Beagles, Basset Hounds, Labradors and Pomeranians. So I've had my fair share of helping deliver babies. I also did Wildlife removal from homes. I would exclude or trap and relocate any Wildlife that was invading homes. Never kill any. I would educate people on the importance of Wildlife and why they are here. I have taken my animals to schools to do educational programs to teach the children to love all animals. I have taken my animals to educational programs in the summer at kids summer camps in Savannah, Missouri. Because I work with Wildlife I do have my rabies vaccination. I have always pet sit for my friends and family when they are out of town and local farmers when they are needing help. I love nature going on walks and being outside is my favorite. I'm experienced in giving oral medications and shots. I currently work full time but in able to leave at any given time to care for the pet. This includes going for walks, playing in the yard, staying the night, staying for feedings, giving medications. I live in the country with a big barn. I do have a fenced run where a dog could stay outside. I am able to create your dog in my home at night and let him/her run free when I am home in the house.

“Such an amazing experience!!! This was the first time leaving our dog with a sitter since we adopted her. She is pretty skittish and I was extremely worried dropping her off. She warmed up to Debin quickly which eased my anxiety! Debin sent updates and pictures throughout the duration of the stay. Thank you so much! I’m so happy I have someone I can trust with taking great care of my dog! ☺️”

“Nina did an excellent job of caring for our older dog. He needs to take pills 2x/day and has an odd diet and she kept to the guidelines on all of his weirdness. I hope Nina is free when I need a Rover next time!”
