“I had a great experience with Sam and Jesse! They were prompt, respectful, and clearly had my dog’s best interests in mind the entire time. We'd recommend!”

“Lisa and her husband took care of our little girl for about 10 days. It’s always nerve racking leaving your baby with new people for that long. They were amazing!!! They would send pics/videos and text updates often but not too much. Dolce was well cared for and would absolutely use them again.”

“Kelly and her husband are a treasure! They were so gracious about accepting a boarding request that was very last minute and they were even more gracious about my activity running late. Both the dogs were very well taken care of, even the senior one who is a bit spoiled at home! They were relaxed and content when they got picked up. I would absolutely make use of Kelly’s services again and would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone I know. It’s can be nerve racking to leave your dogs with someone you don’t know, but Kelly instantly had me completely at ease. Not only is she a good dog sitter but, perhaps more importantly, you can tell she’s a good person. Excellent, smooth experience! Thanks Kelly!!”

“Sydney was great to work with to make Ian's stay comfortable and safe. He is an old dog and I was concerned that his special needs, which require medications on a schedule would be too disruptive to Sydney's routine but she had no problem. I really appreciated the prompt and solid communication.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable with basic puppy routines, reinforcing good habits, and providing calm, gentle care for anxious or older pets. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout each stay or visit. 🏡 Boarding your pet: I do have two friendly and playful dogs of my own — a Great Dane and a Goldendoodle — along with 3 cats that mostly keep to themselves. Because of this, I always like to make sure personalities and temperaments are a good fit for everyone’s safety and comfort. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet feels at home. 🐾 Pet sitting and drop-in visits in your home: I know many pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, playtime, medications, or simply providing companionship, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. 🚶♀️ Dog walks: Safety is always my biggest priority during walks. I pay close attention to leash security, surroundings, weather conditions, and your dog’s comfort level to make sure they have a safe, enjoyable, and enriching walk every tim

About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician that works with dogs of all sizes and different temperaments daily. I'm comfortable with administering medications, doing nail trims, and picking up poop! I currently work full time at a Veterinary clinic, but am typically off Fridays-Sundays (I work rotating Saturdays until noon). I'm also in the Army Reserves, so I may be gone certain weekends. Feel free to reach out! I am willing to stop by your house (especially if your pet is more comfortable with that) to feed, water, give them medications if need, and clean litter boxes/walk - and give them loving of course! I can board small dogs in my home. I have a fenced in back yard that they are welcome to run around in.
About: I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have a dog. I currently have a very loving Great Pyrenees. I lost my Cocker Spaniel last summer so I have room in my heart and home to help people out when they want to travel. I understand the delimma of owning a dog and getting away so rest assured, help is here! I have a beautiful hobby farm and your dog will enjoy sniffing around with my big girl, Bonnie! I am retired and have lots of hobbies that keep me home most of the time. Your dog won't ever be left alone for more than 2-3 hours at a given time. I am new to Rover but I have often cared for friends and family pets in my home. I am in a very rural area and my yard isn't fenced. But maybe, on a busy day, one car passes my house. I wouldn't let a dog unfamiliar with me or my home run lose, but rest assured, there is no where for them to go here. Your dog will be happy and well cared for in my home.

“Once again, Whitney has been exactly what our kitties needed while we were away. She is prompt, spends time loving on our pets and makes sure all of their needs are met. We can tell by the photos that our cats feel safe with her. We are grateful to have such a wonderful sitter. Highly recommend.”

“Ashley was amazing! She took such good care of our fur babies. She was wonderful at communicating and sent us photos and updates each day. 10/10 would recommend Ashley for all your pet sitting needs!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and it was great. She visited with us beforehand to understand everything. She sent pictures. When I came home everything seem to be great. She had great communication before and during the visit timeframe. I would use her again.”

“We could count on Elizabeth to promptly care for our two kitties - That's the big deal. She was also so very pleasant to work with and seemed to truly care about our "girls." It was nice to be able to relax while out of town without a worry for our cats or home, especially over a major holiday. She even waded through snow for us. Thank you, Elizabeth!!!”

About: Cats have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with cats and naturally bonded with the shy and “grumpy cat” personalities. I now have three rescue cats of my own, 5 year old brother and sister red tabbies that we have had since 2 weeks old and a black 3 year old shelter rescue. I pride myself in my understanding that every cat has a different comfort level, routine, and personality and I genuinely enjoy earning their trust at their pace. One thing that sets me apart is that I let cats choose to come to me on their own terms and focus on showing them that I am a calm and safe new friend. I know many cats need time to observe, adjust, and build confidence before engaging. In my experience, patient and respectful interactions create much stronger trust and more positive experiences for cats. Through my background in animal care, I’ve learned how important body language, routine, and low stress handling are for animals. I’m comfortable with shy, nervous, senior, independent, or less social cats and understand how to adapt care to each individual personality. I’m experienced with feeding routines, litter box maintenance and deep cleaning, enrichment and play, administering basic medications, monitoring behavior changes, and keeping environments clean and safe. I also know how important updates are for cat parents, so I prioritize communication, photos, and making sure you feel confident your cat is comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Most importantly, I truly love cats for who they are. Whether that means playing for an hour, quietly sitting nearby while they observe, or simply respecting their space and routine until they choose to connect.

“Tracy was amazing. She was so good with our kitties. She took lots of photos and gave us great peace of mind leaving our kitties under her care! We will 100% be booking with her again.”

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover, and cats have a special place in my heart. I know every cat has a different personality — some want constant attention and playtime, while others prefer their space and a calm environment. I’m comfortable adjusting to whatever makes your cat happiest and most comfortable while you’re away. I’m experienced with daily feeding routines, litter box care, giving medications if needed, and making sure cats stay safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their home environment. Whether your cat is energetic, shy, cuddly, or convinced they run the household, I’ll make sure they get loving and dependable care.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, always thought about being a vet but it never happened. I am in the medical field, I just help humans instead. I believe dogs are the most loyal animal you could have I your home. The love they give is unmatched, no judgment on us humans, they love us unconditionally. I’m currently not working due to the pandemic, I’m home all day taking care of my dog. I have time for your fur baby all day. I have a house with a fenced yard. I live in a great area as well. I have a fenced yard that’s a decent size. I let my dog out several times a day, sometimes we take car rides. I rarely use a kennel but if your pet is not house trained or can get destructive, I would recommend you bring a crate in the event I have to run to the store or something.

About: I have had pets my entire life, primarily cats as well as a few dogs. I currently have a dog and cat, so taking care of either is second nature. I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. These include homes with multiple dogs, multiple cats, a mix, and even a snake. Reptiles and rodents don't bother me! These experiences have also included long-term stay (1 week+) and animals with additional care needs (senior, diabetic with necessary insulin injections at meals). I am currently in vet tech school so I know what to look for to keep your pets safe! I also have experience volunteering in shelters with many animals of different temperaments.

“This was our first time using Rover. I'm so glad we chose Samantha and Jesse to take care of Buddy Bear while we were at our son's Senior Day. They sent pictures and communicated when necessary. Scheduling and pick up and drop off were a breeze. I'd definitely recommend them if you are looking for someone in the Jefferson City area. Thanks Samantha and Jesse!”

“She took us at the last minute and our dogs came home very happy! She genuinely cared about our girls and you can tell her own dog is as happy as can be and loves to play. Definitely will be using her again!”

About: Hello! I’m Angela. A bit about me: I grew up in South America surrounded by animals. My first German Shepherd, Joe, and my small dog, Lulu, taught me early the importance of love, care, and respect for pets. I saw my parents prepare their food and give them attention, showing me that animals are part of the family and deserve compassion, understanding, and affection. From a young age, I learned that animals act according to their environment and training. I remember a neighbor’s dog jumping toward me once—he only defended himself. Experiences like this taught me patience, empathy, and how to read a pet’s signals to ensure they feel safe and loved. Throughout my life, I have cared for a variety of breeds and sizes. These experiences have deepened my understanding of different temperaments and needs. In my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced one-acre backyard where they can run freely, a doggy door for access in and out, full access to the house, and orthopedic beds for resting. I do not use kennels, allowing them to feel at home. The space is kept clean and fresh at all times, with water always available. I provide companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation so pets are happy and healthy while their owners are away. I love pampering animals and preparing healthy treats approved by their owners. I make homemade snacks, including collagen, chicken feet, and beef bones with vegetables, all 100% natural. After my German Shepherd Joe passed away due to a serious illness, I began preparing natural meals combined with dry food for Jack, my current Shepherd. I have seen remarkable improvements in his health, coat, and well-being, ensuring a long, happy, and vibrant life. Animals are never “just pets”; they are family. I put myself fully to provide a safe, loving environment full of attention, play, and care, giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are happy, healthy, and loved. Thank you for visiting my profile, I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to meeting your precious animals! Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I provide meals, exercise, and playtime, supervise pets closely, and ensure they feel safe and loved. I also take time each day to explore new ways for pets to enjoy their environment, keeping them mentally and physically stimulated. Weekly, I clean living areas, check on health needs, and communicate with pet parents to ensure their pets are happy, healthy, and thriving in a secure, caring environment. I provide a safe, loving environment for pets, with a fully fenced one-acre backyard for play. I supervise closely, follow feeding instructions, and use gentle handling. Pets feel happy, secure, and cared for, while I keep owners updated so they trust their furry friends are in good hands.

About: I’ve always been an insane animal lover, to the point I once made my mom not drain a pool because there were frog eggs in it. Cub Creek Science and Animal Camp (CCSC) allowed me to work with their animals as an Animal Specialist in Training (ASIT), where I helped clean porcupine poop and feed ferrets, and every other animal in there. They had everything, frogs, reptiles, insects, birds, and so many mammals. While I absolutely adored taking care of the exotics, I also LOVE domestics! Ever since I was about 11, I have dedicated myself to learn about canine and feline behavior, which ultimately is helping me in getting my certificate for dog obedience training. While I offer services for cats and dogs, if you have exotic animals that don’t register on here, talk to me about them, and I will see what I can do!! At the moment, I am also working for Walmart’s Spark program, so I am free whenever, but I may be slightly late depending on the orders I get. Soon I will start my externship for my certificate, so I’m not sure what my schedule will look like. I will need your contact information, preferably written on paper and left in a well seen spot, in case something were to happen. Along with contact information, please leave your main vet’s information, along with 24 hour emergency vets closest to you. If an emergency were to happen, I would immediately rush them to the vet and I will attempt to call you on the way there. If it is not an emergency, I will contact you to see what I should do. I am very loving toward any pet I meet, and I will ensure their safety and happiness under my care.
