“5 Stars! The communication, overall experience, and trustworthiness, photo updates, care for special needs, following instructions, and peace of mind were all above and beyond expectations. They received personalized attention (feeding, meds, walks) with photos and daily updates. They showed genuine love for our little dogs and made sure they felt safe and happy. Highly recommend their boarding services.”

“Bogey and Birdie made themselves right at home at Gretchen’s. We can tell they got lots of TLC from her entire family. Communication was great and we received fun pictures and updates.”

“Linda was absolutely wonderful! We left our two tiny toy poodles in her care while we were away on vacation, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. ❤️ From the beginning, Linda helped put my heart at ease and reassured me that my girls would be safe, loved, and well cared for. Her communication throughout our trip was fantastic! She sent us photos and videos every day, which meant the world to me. Linda followed all of the care instructions I provided, was incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with, and took such great care of our girls. Her home was squeaky clean, and she has a beautiful, secure backyard where they had plenty of room to play and enjoy themselves. Most importantly, I felt like Poppy and Harley were genuinely cared for while they were with her. That kind of peace of mind when you're away from your pets is priceless. We will absolutely be booking with Linda again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to love on their pets while they're away. Thank you, Linda, for taking such wonderful care of our girls! 🐾❤️”

“Ashlyn and her pets were fantastic with my sometimes-reactive dog. She listened to my cautious instructions and made sure my dog had a warm start-up to his week-long stay. Thank you!! Will be returning in the future :).”

“Kaitlin was a great sitter for our pups. She kept us updated with pictures and texts while we were away which was a great relief. Kaitlin even washed the dog beds before we picked them up!”

“Mikala was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Remy and treated her like part of the family. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear Remy was happy and comfortable. Mikala was also incredibly flexible and understanding when my drop-off plans changed multiple times, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. She even reached out after I picked Remy up because she found one of Remy’s bowls and offered to ship it back to me. That level of thoughtfulness really meant a lot. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and I would absolutely trust Mikala with Remy again. Highly recommend!”

“Another stay with Mallory in the books😊 Sophie and Enzo really enjoyed their five night stay with Mallory and her family. She sent me a pic of my pups curled up together, sleeping like they do at home. She is a very responsive pet-sitter, answering my texts within a few minutes. It’s so convenient to drop off and pickup at her home since she’s so close to the airport, and she has been very flexible when schedules flights aren’t always on time. Mallory will be my first call when I need to go out of town again!”

“Dillon was great! He sent me many updates on Beckett and was very flexible with pickup and drop off times- especially for this last minute booking. I will definitely be using him again!”

“Sydney was so amazing and accommodating with our dog Sally. She wrote us very thoughtful and thorough updates and sent lots of pictures. Sally came back relaxed and happy. Highly recommend!”

“Gerrad was very accommodating for our girl Stella! He was quick to respond when I sent messages and also checked in several times a day with pictures! We would feel comfortable sending Stella back to him anytime. She was very loved while staying there!”

About: I volunteered at CARE which is a no kill pet shelter for cats and dogs in 2014 and recently started volunteering at this place again, February 2018. My duties included feeding and making sure the animals had enough water. Cleaned out kennels and cages and would take the dogs outside and walk them. I have had dogs and cats since I was born and currently had a dog who loved being around other cats and dogs. She loved to play with animals as well and loved children. Her name was Daisy she is in my profile pic with me. Daisy was euthanized on September 1st, 2023. I now have another dog whose name is Emma. She’s a year old and as long as it’s ok with a client I bring her to pet sitting jobs. She loves other animals including cats and loves to play. She’s lovable and affectionate and loves attention. I also have a cat and her name is Maizy. She is four years old and I got her when she was almost 4 weeks old. I would take Daisy for walks and if I could take her with me to other places I did. One of the places I took her was to the pet store. I no longer wear a mask unless I have to. If you prefer for me to wear one please let me know and I will wear one. I use to work at a job which required me to work a 10 hour shift. I am now working at a full time job which has 8 hour shifts. I can work around my schedule if needed. My supervisor does work with me on switching my days around if needed. I can’t keep your pet in my apartment due to rules and restrictions but I can come to your home. I will provide my own food and necessities.

“Great with our two dogs! Extremely patient and kind with our very vocal husky mix, and skittish collie. There is plenty of room for dogs to feel safe in their own areas. Will be using again for sitting needs.”

“First time ever leaving my fur babies with a stranger, and I am happy I chose the right person to do so. Courtney and her kids were incredibly helpful and took great care of my 10-year-old Boxer and 13-year-old Plott Hound. They made sure both dogs felt comfortable and at ease. Their home was clean and welcoming, and the kids and toys kept my dogs happy and entertained the whole time. Definitely would go back to Courtney if I am in town again!”

“Levi has done a wonderful job watching Bruno while I am at work. Bruno was nervous in his first week but now is really excited to get to go see Levi and his two pups Mushu and Buddy each day and comes home exhausted from having such a good time. Thank you Levi!”

“Ashley's simply the best. You know someone knows dogs well when the dogs are happy and excited to go visit her. I can't say enough about how much thought and care she puts into everything her and her family do to help others out and their fur babies.”

“I am so thankful for Linda!! I was in a bind and needed someone to watch my Mabel fast! The very next day Linda was able to take her in and took very good care of my crazy pup! ❤️”

“Jackie and Michael were so great with my high maintenance young doberman! Although we live hours away, I would make the drive and use them again in a heartbeat. I’ve never seen my dog so at home with someone else. I highly recommend them!”

About: I grew up with dogs, helping my parents raise English and French bulldogs for 10 years in our family kennel, which was USDA certified. I've always had at least two dogs in the house (plus the 32 we owned in the kennel!) and I now have two dogs of my own (ages 13 and 3) at home with my husband. I have been raising/house training dogs almost my entire life and I love them to pieces! I am experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes, and I love going on walks with them and playing with them. I am a stay at home mom, so I am almost always available, with the exception of Sundays between 10 am and 3 pm. Please drop off for a boarding stay or schedule a drop-in/dog walk time either before or after those times on Sundays. I am available for meet and greets every weekend and every weeknight after 5pm! I can't wait to love on your pup! I currently work from home on a flexible schedule: I can do drop-ins before 7:30am, on my lunch break at noon and after 5pm, and I'm available for drop off any time during the day if you let me know in advance. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs who have separate sleeping spaces. All dogs eat in their crates (please bring a crate for boarding) and sleep in them at night with the exception of our shepsky who sleeps in our bedroom. Dogs can all be separated or together as needed and are free to go outside all day every day through the dog door.
“Gretchen took in our Xena for daycare at the last minute - for which we were very grateful! She and her husband were great - very communicative and kind. Xena was in good hands and had a good time with their dogs. Highly recommend!”

About: I have always had pets (dogs mostly) and love them! I will love your babies as if they were my own! I hope you pick me! I have recently retired and am looking for something gratifying to help other Dog owners with the care of their pet! I know how stressful it can be when you have to leave your pet for any length of time and would love to relieve that stress for you! 😊 I have a fenced in yard with a senior dog, Bella. She is such a great dog and is so aloof, like nothing bothers her! I am unable to board certain breeds due to home insurance restrictions and my senior dog so may not be able to accept every request, however, I haven’t turned one down yet!
About: We have taken care of dogs most of our life. We’ve also became experts with senior dog care since ours has reached that stage. One is a diabetic so we understand the importance of medicine and a schedule. If your dog requires extra care, just let us know and we’ll make sure their given everything they need. “So glad I found a sitter I can trust! Wally loves visiting with Piper and making new friends. He seems to be very content here. I’m grateful for the pics, videos, updates, etc and making sure he gets some rest during the boundless energy he has.”

About: Hello and welcome to our little side of dog paradise! I will need a meet and greet before I can commit to any extent of stay. All dogs must be current on shots and show no symptoms of infection or intestinal issues. Charlie, my last dog was a dachshund, she was not a good social fit for most dogs and we were very limited in taking her or leaving her with anybody. I loved her dearly but she was a total pill! Dottie our new cattle dog mix is just wonderful with other dogs, and because she loves to play...here we are on this site! Dottie is such a great host to all dogs in our house I thought why not? I work from home and also have times where I need to be gone but never for more than 3 hours at a time. I will never book if I am too busy to be a good dog parent. That is a promise. I have a flexible schedule that I am in charge of at all times. I would like to see a complete profile with photos to consider a booking. I am not looking to make this my primary business and only want to cater to the right pets that fit our life. I am not a dog trainer but do love them dearly when they are in my care. A good fit for us is a typical fun loving dog that likes everybody and wants to play and walk. I do believe another good fit would be the super lazy or old pet that just likes to lay around or be petted. I am all about them. They need to be house trained crate trained is a plus. I can’t take any aggressive tendencies toward kids, cats or other dogs. I would also like to avoid dogs that have intense anxiety or tend to be destructive. If our home sounds like a good fit reach out! Our days start early at 6:00am Monday-Friday, the weekends depend on our Schedule. We are also early to bed at 8:00pm so would like to avoid late pick ups but can understand if it’s a late flight or a long drive in a day to get back home. I Have a nice house in an awesome south east Springfield neighborhood, It comes with a wood 6ft privacy fence. I have a 9 year old kid who loves pets as well. We have Felix, a 3 year old male tabby who comes in and out on his own free will at all times of the day. He is indifferent to dogs, doesn't want to hang out with them but not going to bite or attack anybody. He is a good boy. Dottie is our new adopted dog. We got her from care rescue shelter in August 2025 to foster and eventually sealed the deal for keeps. She is a lovely little creature that loves to play and run around the backyard with her other dog buddies. Dottie has a crate and we still use it at times but she is pretty well allowed to roam around. She is crate trained and potty trained. Basically I am pretty easy dog mamma. If they need rest, they get it. If they want to play and run they can. They come in and out when they want. That's how we roll at our house.

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have spent most of my life caring for and training them. My experience includes breeds such as American Staffordshire Terriers, Cane Corsos, and Pit Bulls, as well as many other types of dogs. I also fostered 12 dogs through the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, working with a wide range of breeds including Mastiffs, Huskies, Heelers, and Terriers. Through fostering, I’ve helped dogs recovering from hip surgeries, heartworm treatment, and other medical needs, while also learning how to adapt to different personalities, energy levels, and care requirements. Over the years, this experience has strengthened my ability to help all dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved! I'm available to board during the weekdays a majority of the time and sometimes weekends depending on availability. I'd be with your pet all day unless a quick grocery run or other short side quest. I have a fenced yard of about 0.40 acres, providing plenty of space for dogs to run and burn energy. My neighbor also has dogs, allowing for possible socialization if appropriate. I also have an XL crate available if needed, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for any dog. Otherwise, they would be with me playing and relaxing, if requested I can also walk with them and take them to some parks!

Whether your pet needs a buddy for a walk, someone to keep them company during the day, or some extra cuddles while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they get the care and attention they deserve! 🐶🐱🐾 When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy in their familiar environment. I follow their usual routines, pay close attention to their individual needs and behaviors, and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, playtime, and exercise. I’m respectful of your home and your space, and I’ll always treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are in a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment while you’re away! 🐾

“Ashlyn and her pets were fantastic with my sometimes-reactive dog. She listened to my cautious instructions and made sure my dog had a warm start-up to his week-long stay. Thank you!! Will be returning in the future :).”

“Nella took such great care of our dog Trip! She provided frequent updates on his stay while we were gone and he came home happy and clearly well cared for. We would definitely rebook with her!”

“Courtney sent pictures and updates everyday, and she was flexible when I needed to pick my dog up a few hours earlier than I had first told her. Her kids were really sweet and I know my dog had a great week with them. This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience! Thank you, Courtney!!”

“Jackie & Micheal have become family to my pup & I. They have provided extended care to my girl when I was called upon to help my family in another state. My girl has been adopted by their entire family, and getting her home will be a challenge.”

“Nancy and Kevin took such sweet care of our fur baby Honey. She was completely spoiled! They fed my picky eater off of their dinner plate and hand fed her. Nancy provided a photo library daily. We missed her so much, but had complete Confidence in her care.”

About: Hello! My name is Brooke and I have a precious English Springer Spaniel and had a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. I am a big dog lover and take my dog everywhere she can go with me! We love to hike, go biking, chase squirrels and the next door neighbors dog! I love spending time with animals, period, whether it’s playing with them or just taking them on a much needed walk! I also have house sat/pet sat for various families over the years and am extremely flexible with whatever families need. I have house sat/puppy sat from just a couple nights to several months at a time. I offer services of walking, in-home visits, over-night stays and quite frankly am flexible with any other situations that may come up! Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I currently work full time and even though I love puppies, would prefer to watch dogs that have a well established routine and can be ok for sometime alone before I can come and walk them and play with them. This is part of my personal routine with my own puppy. At this time I do not have a fenced in yard at my own home, so talking my dog for a long walk on the trails near my house is a must! For families where I am watching not only their animal but their home, I like to work within their animals normal routine so as not to add any more stress to the owners or the animal.
“Allison has a great house and yard for dog fun. She is a calm smart person with lots of experience with dogs. Highly recommend. My dogs were happy and calm after 4 days with Allison.”

About: My financee, Garrett, and I have cared for the wellbeing of several types of dogs since we were children. We live together, but it will primarily be me who is home with the dogs and if you need help in your home, it will always be me you will speak too. We have two fur babies together and would love to help you care for yours! I work 3 minutes from home and can usually return with in a few hours on days when I have to go to the office, which is fairly rare. I do work a 9-5, but I work hybrid remote. I have a fully privacy fenced in back yard. I let my own dogs out every 3-5 hours for the bathroom, as they are grown and do not need let out much, but I am able to accomodate any bathroom schedule necessary. I am able to keep a meds and feeding schedule as well as an exercise schedule easily with my job flexabilty. Our dogs sleep with us and eat twice a day. We keep a clean, happy home and love to let our dogs out back to run and play often! In the evenings, my fiancee and I can walk your dog or dogs with our own babies as we have multiple leashes with dual or multi-capacity.
