“This was our first time using Rover for our 8 year old lab. We read so many reviews that were positive for Misty and decided she was the perfect fit for our sweet Willow. Misty watched our baby for 9 days while we were out of the country. She sent photos and our girl came home as happy and content as could be. She has not done well being boarded in the past so this was a wonderful stay for her and a huge relief for us. We recommend Misty and her family 100%. “I hesitate to leave this review only because I want to keep Lorri for myself! She was so good with our dog! Winnie is blind and due to this has separation anxiety when we leave her and a little generalized anxiety in new situations. Within a day, Lorri had her wearing a cute little sweater to keep warm on walls (which Winnie refuses to wear for me), had her cuddling on the couch and even took her for walks in a store! I know Winnie was comfortable with her because she was clearly relaxed in the many photos and videos we got while we were away. Lorri is the best!”

About: I’ve watched dogs for several of my friends and family in the past and have decided to take my care pet scratches to others in need. I’m currently a personal trainer. So I’ll have afternoons to come home and let the pups out. And I’m there for several hours at a time. I like to walk so they will get exercise in. I have a fenced in back yard. So the dogs will have plenty of space to run and play. They have a pond to drink from.

About: We didn't have a cat growing up but I was always well beloved by friends' cats and neighborhood strays. In 2021, I adopted my first cat — Sapphira, a senior surrender — as a cure for college quarantine loneliness. Over the next four years, I nursed her thru diabetes, organ failure, partial spinal paralysis, UTIs, and incontinence before she passed August 2025. I'd do it all over again if I could. Safe to say, I really love taking care of cats and there's no issue to gross or unique I can't handle. 💪🏽🤩

I grew up with cats, but could not own a dog until I moved out on my own, so I quickly got my first baby Alice the first chance I could. About: I have been doing pet sitting since high school and have been a volunteer dog walker for the Humane Society of Missouri for 11 years. I currently have one customer not through Rover and have had more in the past, but I am looking forward to my first Rover job! I love animals (cats, dogs, and other animals). I don't have any pets but hang out with my brother's dog a lot when he is out of town. I walk dogs at the Humane Society on Tuesday but am free most hours and days since I have reduced my time delivering with Doordash. I am looking to build up pet sitting time and can schedule my days around this most days. I can visit your home and spend time with your pet. I can walk your pet, give them food, water, and medicine as needed, and let them outside to go to the bathroom. I currently care for a cat and multiple dogs, including German Shepherds and a Belgian Malinois, so I’m very comfortable with large, active, and high-energy breeds. I’m experienced with structured walks, exercise, feeding routines, basic commands, medication schedules, and giving each dog individualized attention. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I will treat your babies with the same patience, attentiveness, and love that I give my loves. My babies are such a huge part of my everyday routine, so adding another pup to the mix comes pretty naturally to me. We’re big on walks, outside time, playing fetch and tug and just hanging out on the couch. I’m used to planning my day around my cat and dogs and making sure each gets the attention and exercise they need. I have multiple dogs of my own, so I know every dog is different and has their own personality and needs. I’m very comfortable with XL / big dogs and high-energy breeds, but I’m also big on keeping everyone safe and structured. I’ll follow whatever routine you have for your pup and treat them like I would want someone to treat mine.
