“Jeanne is a true animal lover who grew up taking care of horses and other animals with her father. She made me feel very comfortable with her kindness and care for our 14 and 1/2 year old Mini Schnauzer. She sent us 2 to 4 pictures by text each day he was at her house and provided short updates along with them. She has a nice fenced-in back yard for dogs to go outside in and she has a nice wood deck/patio that is fairly large that the dogs enjoy lounging in the sun on. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to my friends! Thank you Jeanne!”
“Beth was great! Katie had a good time and it was nice knowing she was well cared for while we were gone for the weekend. Beth was also very accommodating as we didn’t know our exact return time on Sunday.”

As soon as I walked out the door to leave her with them, I turned around and he was already loving and playing with her. “Ebony was AMAZING! Zoey had such a great time in her huge backyard and with the other pups! Zoey was there for a week while I was out of town for the holidays. I received many updates and pictures of Zoey having a ball with the other pups. This was my first time leaving my newly rescued pup, so I was a little nervous. Ebony made Zoey feel right at home and gave her all the love she needed! Will be booking Ebony again in the future.”

“We left our cat for over 2 weeks, and since we’ve only had her for a few months, we were nervous about how she would adjust. They visited her twice a day to feed and give her attention. They sent photos and detailed updates every visit on her eating and behavior. They really put us at ease - we will absolutely book them again in the future!”

“I am always impressed with Barb's care for my 2 cats. She finds out their preferences and caters to them. She spends time both helping them feel comfortable with her for affection and plenty of play time. She is observant of behaviors and communicated each visit with many photos and updates. Plus, she is a pleasure to work with herself!”

“Brooklyn was wonderful. She took such loving care of our cats. Our boy cat is a big slob and she had to clean up after him every day which was above and beyond. She spent time with each cat, and they gave her purrs, cuddles and licks, which tells me they felt safe and cared for.”

She sent great pictures of them having fun and left me some Polaroid pictures with a nice thank you card the first day. The rest of the week went great to. About: I have always loved dogs. My husband and I adopted a beagle 5 years ago and we have just loved every minute of it. We go on daily walks, have plenty of toys and dog puzzles. I currently work from home and will have plenty of time to monitor and play with your dogs. My Beagle Tommy is also dog friendly. We go outside frequently and supervise outside playtime. I have a friendly beagle who loves to play hard and nap hard too. We allow dogs on the furniture and work from home. We do not crate dogs even when leaving the home.
“Ursula was fantastic. She communicated very well with us during Marley's stay at her home. We really appreciated her care for our little dog when we were in Tucson for a brief stay.”

About: I have a lifelong passion for dogs and years of experience, including caring for seniors and special needs pups. I also have been a volunteer at Second Chance Ranch, a rescue for senior dogs. All new dogs require a meet-and-greet prior to booking. I specialize in calm, small-to-medium dogs up to 25 pounds (I will consider larger dogs up to 40 lbs if they are calm adult dogs who don’t pull on a leash) I am retired so will be with your pet most of the time. Occasionally I have to leave but never for more than a couple of hours. If you are a new client please use this code for $20 off your first booking LORRIM12299, https://www.rover.com/sit/lorrim12299 I’ll take great care of your pet—and give you peace of mind! Your pet will always be safe, whether on a leash, in the car with a seatbelt. “Just passing through and needed to leave Tobi somewhere safe for part of the day. Francie was great, exceeded expectations. Tobi loved playing with the other dt. This was our first Rover experience, but we'll be doing it again as we continue our travels.”

About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! Luckily I work from home as an attorney and am able to provide many walks and attention throughout the day. I also live in an area with a lake and multiple dog parks. I am extremely attentive with any dogs that I take care of. I will provide sitting with care and attention and make sure your dog is safe and taken care of.
“Hailie and Alex did a wonderful job looking after Yodi during our brief stop in St. Louis! We were a bit worried about how long it would take him to feel comfortable in a new environment, but based on the pictures they sent and how quickly he fell asleep after being picked up, he had an enjoyable and eventful day! Not only was it clear that Hailie truly loves animals, but their dog Evie was playful with Yodi and helped get all his energy out. We definitely recommend if you're looking for a positive experience for your pet!”

“I cannot recommend Bhairavi highly enough! From the moment we met, it was clear she genuinely loves and understands dogs. She went above and beyond to make sure Oakley felt comfortable, happy, and cared for. I received regular updates with adorable photos and thoughtful notes, which gave me total peace of mind. My dog came home relaxed, healthy, and clearly well-loved! It’s rare to find someone so responsible, kind, and attentive. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, Bhairavi is the one. Bhairavi and Gary have a beautiful home and you will not find anyone better to love and care for your dog!! I will definitely be booking again!”

“Ashlie and Phillip were great with my pup! Excellent communication both before and during our stay. Their home is a perfect environment for any dog who loves getting lots of attention and outdoor play.”

“Lara took great care of Margot for us!! She made sure to send lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. Margot came home happy and tired which we love! Thank you Lara, I’m sure we will be back!”

“Summer was fantastic! She answered all of our questions and truly cared for Tika. She sent pictures and video throughout the day to keep us posted and even took her out for a walk in the park. Thank you, Summer!”

“Walter and his wife have been so great with my dog! Kenai loves going over there for the day. They have made Kenai a welcome member in their home and even take him out for walks. They’re also understanding of my changing schedule when it comes to early drop offs and different pickup times. I really appreciate them!”

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of every age of dog. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian my entire childhood. I was even going to try and start the process, but then life happened and my plans had to change. My plans took me to being a stay at home mom to 3 kids who also love animals. While I am no professional, I love trying to help my dogs learn new tricks or commands. Once again not a professional, but I do all of my dogs grooming needs myself. I have clippers and a grinder for nails and all kinds of brushes. For the babies not afraid of vacuums I also have a pet grooming vacuum. I can brush bathe and clip dogs nails at the owners request. If you bring your own shampoo the bath will be at no cost to you. If you dont have any it will just be a small fee for me to use some that I have. I am able to give medications if need be. I can also follow special diet routines if necessary as long as you bring the supplies that are needed. I am a stay at home mom for our 3 kids so when your fur baby is in my care they will hardly ever have to be kenneled. Potty breaks can be as often as needed based on what they are used to at their actual home. Daily walks can be taken(depending on the weather). I would be delighted to care for your dog while you’re away! My home is shared with my husband, our three children, and two friendly dogs who love to play in our fenced yard. I also offer daily walks to keep your pup active and happy. I normally follow a two-meal schedule with my own dogs, but I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine. Since we also have a cat, it’s important that visiting dogs are comfortable around cats. My goal is to make your dog feel as happy and comfortable as possible while you’re gone. If there are any special routines or comforts that help your pup feel at ease, I’ll gladly accommodate them when I can. For higher-energy dogs, I even have experience biking with pups who enjoy an active workout.

“My girl Gingersnap is older and shy, she doesn't really take to new people quickly. Candela was sweet and patient with her, and at the end of two days Ginger was totally comfortable in her home and didn't want to leave! Candela was also super flexible and accommodating to our schedule, which was so appreciated. We were able to visit St Louis from out of town and do everything we wanted knowing our little bear was safe and happy. What a relief. Thank you Candela!”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Twin Oaks
Prices are estimates per walk. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: I'm a caring person who will pay attention to your pet's needs and spend time with them. I had a dog for 6 years before she passed away. She was a German Shepard chow who loved going on walks in the park. I love being outdoors, whether for business or personal health, Disney, and cooking. I follow instructions to a T and will protect your pet at all costs! When house sitting, I always treat the house better than I would treat my home. I clean up after myself, and will provide my own food as I care for your home and pet. I am willing to stay at your house 24/7, while you're away, if you desire it. You will not be disappointed with me as your sitter! My schedule is rather open and quite flexible. I can provide care to cover all your needs; be it a short walk or days to weeks for your vacation! I double-check all doors in my client's homes throughout my stay. I've had no pet break-outs or escapes yet and I will keep it that way. I make sure to keep all human foods out of reach to pets and clean up all my trash. No one is eating trash on my watch
About: I am a very pet oriented person, having had cats and dogs in my life since I was small. I am empathetic to when pets need extra reassurance and attention and make sure to go the extra mile to make my furry friends feel comfortable and well cared for. I am currently working part time which enables me with a lot of flexibility and free time to meet your pet care needs. Chances are great I will be able to accommodate your pet visit or pet sitting schedule needs so feel free to reach out and let's get acquainted! I prefer to care for pets in their regular home space to limit their stress. I will be careful to follow all instructions and prefer written instructions for pet care and any light home care needs you have.
“Mike was excellent — super communicative and took great care of our pug. (And kindly rescued a package delivery from an impending storm. ?) We will definitely book again!”
About: We are both former English teachers who have nothing to do now that we’re retired. What better way to spend our time than to help you with your pets. We've had pets our whole lives. We're available to drop in and care for your pets. Our inspiration is our own experience with finding someone to care for our animals during vacations, obligations, etc. As teachers, we were trusted in the classroom for 30 years each. You can certainly trust us with your pets. We're loving, nurturing and would love to help you with your animals.

“Kyani treated my dog as if she were her own fur baby! My pet was VERY well cared for, and I got detailed updates and pictures for each visit. Definitely planning to book with Kyani again if she’s available!”

About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better. My favorite types of dogs include Boxers, Miniature Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers. I like all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am really into playing fetch with dogs. I also don't mind playing with rope toys. They might tear my arms off but hey! It builds character! I'm very easy-going and I feel like with dogs you have to have a great sense of humor and enjoy the trade in order to work with them. I hope you consider me for some of your services. I look forward to chatting with you over the phone, internet, or in person! Also, I have a sweet little Mitten cat (her name is Mittens). She's a blue tortoise cat with these little white Mitten paws. My father has a black Maltese poodle named Beau... The sweetest dog in the world. I used to live with him and we were the best of friends. We still are. But we just don't see each other as much. That's who you see me with in my photos. I have pretty much open availability. I am comfortable doing overnight visits and morning/afternoon/evening walks. I'm currently in the process of trying to build clientele so I'm more flexible now than I might be in the future. But my long-term goal is to make this a full time 8 hour day. The 8-hour schedule block will entirely depend upon demand though. Whether it's broken up into different times of the day with a break in between or a full 8 hours non-stop, entirely depends upon when clients need availability. The number one most important thing about pet care is communication though. Between the owner and me. The sooner we know things, the better. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. Staying in their home helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress, and allows me to focus entirely on giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. Whenever possible, I love to schedule a meet-and-greet before the booking begins. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, for your pet to become comfortable with me, and for me to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, quirks, medications, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. I firmly believe that in pet care, overcommunicating is always better than undercommunicating. I'd much rather ask one extra question than make an assumption, and you can expect prompt responses, regular photo and video updates, and complete transparency throughout your time away. While I would be comfortable offering boarding in the future, I currently choose not to because I share my home with a beloved cat. My decision isn't out of concern for her behavior—it's simply because I don't want to bring unfamiliar dogs into her space. By focusing exclusively on house sitting, I can give your pets individualized care in the environment where they feel safest and most at ease, while ensuring every animal in my care is comfortable, secure, and happy.
“Alli accepted a week before when another sitter cancelled on me …she was so professional booked a meet and greet right away. She took such good care of my babies (I have three and two are older seniors - and one active puppy!) she took amazing pics and never worried about them she is AMAZING”

“Jennifer was able to help me out on a last minute request to walk my dogs as I had to leave town. She walked both my dogs on a short notice and was great with them. Will book again!”

“Cynthia was amazing- she went above and beyond the call of duty. It’s obvious that she loves animals. It stormed all weekend while we were gone, but she was very careful to make sure that our dog was comfortable. Thank you, Cynthia.”

About: I have always had a dog and cat in my life (and still do!). I have been using Rover for two years and I don't seem to want to stop anytime soon. I have trained two golden retrievers and walked a lot of puppies, senior dogs and many ages in-between. One of my own dogs was awarded canine good citizenship before my children were born. I love being around animals and I have a caring nature. Now that my kids are getting older, it fits my need to get exercise and bring some joy into my life. I would love to give your pet some snuggles, snacks and I am always mindful to send lots of photos to ensure you can relax while you are away. I know that is what I would want as a pet owner. Some people think you have to either be a "dog person" or a "cat person". Not me! They both have a place in my heart for very different reasons. Cats take some time, but I love their comforting purr, the playfulness of spunky kittens or just petting their soft fur. Some owners simply just someone they can trust for a check-in. I am happy to provide the details needed so you can be OK while you are away. I am typically available in the afternoons as long as I don’t have a meeting scheduled (I work from home) and most evenings are available. Weekends are the best time to book care if you will be out for soccer games, dinner or long evening plans. I have kids as well and I have used Rover for 6+ years on my own pets. I am excited to return the favor to you now that my kids are older. I have used crates with my own pets during training and I will follow whatever safety instructions are needed. I understand all collars, how to avoid run ins with feisty dogs and other concerns you may have. I know how to troubleshoot dogs that like to find hiding spots or have the ability to slip out of the door. I am 40+ and I am raising tweens at this point, so I have a little wisdom under me that other walkers may not have at this point. I am also trustworthy. I have a great full-time job coupled with flexibility. I just want to combine my love of pets with a little extra income.

“This was our first time using Rover and we are very protective puppy parents. Indy loved his weekend stay with Lucy and we loved receiving daily updates and photos of him. Thank you!”

“Dani was great with Isabella! I have never used a boarding service before and felt completely comfortable leaving my babygirl in her hands! She’s friendly, fun and extremely kind! 10/10 would recommend :)”

“Sarah took great care of our golden retriever, Phoenix, while we took a brief vacation. He fit in well with her dog, and we got many great pictures from Sarah to update us while we were away. We were super comfortable with our dog's stay even though we had never left him with anyone before. I heartily recommend Sarah for you and your dog.”

“Linda was awesome with our furry baby! She made sure she got all her vitamins and meds and took her on walks every day. She also sent us daily pics and updates, which really put our minds at ease. We’re so happy we found her! Our dog can be a bit territorial with other dogs, so we really appreciated that Linda only takes one dog at a time. It meant our pup got all her attention, care, and love. We’ll definitely book with her again! Highly recommend Linda!”
