“Amanda was just THE BEST. The first time she met Hoss, my cat, they bonded. Hoss loves to play fetch and chase the dot and the two of the got right to it. Hoss likes the treats in a tube but would only eat then from the bowl till Amanda got to eat them from her hand. She knows how to make our pets comfortable and provided a lap to curl up on. About: Hello! My name is Sarah and I am an animal science major at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and I love getting to work with a variety of animals. Not only did I grow up on a farm with cattle, pigs, turkeys, dogs, and cats, I also have three years of experience working with more exotic animals at a science and animal camp. I have had the pleasure of working with llamas, snakes, emus, and my favorite animal, the ring-tailed lemur. At camp we have over 100 different species of animals. I've had dogs my entire life and have taken care of neighbors/friends/professors dogs for years. I consider my dog my son and nothing is more important to me than making sure the dogs in my life and loved and well cared for. Since starting Rover spring 2022, I've watched over 100 dogs of many breeds and sizes, many of whom I've now watched multiple times and feel very bonded with. **** I am full for all repeating (i.e., weekly drop-ins/walks) requests currently. Feel free to still put in the request but depending on time, days, and your location, I will likely be unable to commit to repeat weekday services right now. I am also limiting housesitting mostly to past clients but you are welcome to still submit a request. I live in an apartment so I'm limiting services to dog walking, drop in visits, and housesitting for now. Flexible with times and lengths of these, however! I always make sure to set aside lots of time for pets and cuddles in all of my drop ins! I will also send lots of pictures and as many updates as you would like. I am a PhD student in psychology with generally flexible hours so I do best with dogs who can be left for 2-4 hours so I can attend classes and meetings. Depending on the day, I may not be able to do a midday individual drop-in or walk this semester but my weekend availability is wide open. For housesitting, it would be wonderful if it were a home where you would be okay with me bringing my (quiet, small, housetrained, 10 pound) dog with me so I don't have to leave him all night. About: You will not be disappointed by the quality of care you receive when your dog(s) is in my care. I have loved helping others with their family needs since I was young. About: I’ve been pet sitting since highschool at the age of 14. I’ve am also a veterinary assistant since 2023! I have my own pet that is a very active German Shepherd! I am a college student working at a vet clinic 15+ hours a week in the evenings! I am very flexible during the day time. Most days I don’t work until 3pm! I can easily monitor your pet and make sure it has a blast when in my care! The care I provide for my own pet is something I pride myself on and would love to care for yours!

I do respect boundaries though, so if (for example) you do not want you doggie eating table scraps I will give them none at all. If you don’t mind, great, too! About: I am a professional young adult who has loved dogs my entire life. I walked friend's dogs all four years of high school and have a large dog of my own who I train and care for. As a college student, I currently have a very laid back summer schedule and have plenty of time to care for your pet during the weekdays and weekends! I love spending time outdoors and would love to take your dogs on long walks, provide them water, and spoil them with love and treats.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life. Friends and family have trusted and relied on me to make sure their pets are loved and taken good care of. I’ve taken care of puppies, cats, and even senior age dogs. I’ve seen it all and have experience with animals who have cancer and can try my hardest to make them comfortable and be able to enjoy their time with me. I have recently graduated with my Bachelors of Health Science degree and I’m currently in a professional program at my Mizzou to graduate with my OTA degree! I have a fenced in yard and a lovable puppy ready to make new friends! I can adjust to what your cat or dog may need to be comfortable in a new environment. Whether that be with meet and greets beforehand or just lots of love and space to help them feel comfortable.
About: I have experience with lots of different animals. Personally, I have had both a small and large dog, cats, a chameleon, and a gerbil. I grew up around cats and dogs and have been dog sitting my uncle’s two Great Danes ever since I was old enough to drive my bike across town on my own. In the past few years, I have watched dogs, checked on some cats, and taken care of a bearded dragon. I’ve taken care of dogs as small as 3 pounds as well and have puppy experience from my own dog (her names Ella, she’s the 80 lbs doodle in my pictures). I am close with family and friends who have angsty cats, grouchy little dogs, and an anxious, slightly reactive German Shepard. My reptile skills extend to crickets, mealworms, super worms, changing lights, and misting (all the things I learned from my chameleon Chandler). I work a part time job and go to school full time, so my schedule is pretty flexible with time in the mornings, during the day, and at night. I cannot currently host any pets because I live in a pet-free rental. That being said, I am open to house sitting and dropping in to care for your pets :). I am happy to follow your pet schedule and care for your pets according to each of their individual needs. I understand how stressful it can be for both you and your pet(s) to be apart.
About: Hello! I have been taking care of animals for over 13 years. I grew up with two cats and two dogs, and taking care of multiple neighbors animals whenever they were out of town. My partner also works on rover and I have helped him on multiple occasions! I have a very flexible schedule at work, currently only working a part time job. I will always prioritize your pet and making sure they get the best care. Being a pet mom myself, I would give the best care for your pet, just as I would for mine. That includes making sure they are fed and taken outside and played with, etc!

About: I have training experience & trained my pup myself! We play, snuggle, walk, and continue to practice training every day! I love teaching my pup new tricks, and can do the same for yours! We are very happy & energetic in our home! My sweet Buster gets along with other animals very well! He's a sweetie! I make sure to do mentally stimulating activities and challenges for Buster! They're so good for dogs! I make them fun and rewarding! I can do that for your baby too! I work full-time. And when I come home, my attention is on my pup- getting his energy out and having fun! If your request is for house sitting, I would need to bring my dog along with me. I'm home all evenings and all weekends. On the weekend, especially, I'll be available to do all the caring for your sweet babe!! The #1 thing is I don't give my dog people food. If I do, he only gets safe fruits & veggies and cheese. I don't have anything a dog could choke on or really swallow. I put Buster in a kennel when I'm gone, but I could leave your dog out if they don't do kennels. Please ask me questions if you have any!
