About: In addition to dog sitting and cat sitting for my family and friends, I have experience with taking care of birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even fish. I’m here to have a relaxing day staying in or going for a run or walk to enjoy the sunshine. We can go for a game of tug of war in the yard! About: Sitting in the kitten room is one of my favorite activities as a Humane Society volunteer. I appreciate any time I can get with cats — my dad and brother are allergic, so I didn’t have one growing up. My extended family provided, however. Growing up, you could always find me in a spare room with the cat at the family Christmas party. Then, in college, I had a roommate with two lovely kittens that I spoiled. Isa answered all of my questions about the process and gave me the chance to come meet her first. She was also very flexible as I had to book it sort of last minute and didn't have an exact time of when we would be picking up our puppy. Also our puppy was still finishing recovery from a recent surgery, and Isa was very understanding of this and made sure he got enough Rex. About: I’ve always loved dogs, whether they were mine or those of friends. I’ve had dogs for many years, and they have been my best buddies! I adopted Stanley last September from Have a Heart Rescue. Stanley is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. He is only 17 pounds and full of energy and loads of love. I love walking the perimeter of the park, so dogs who enjoy walks will have plenty of opportunities to get out and "sniff the puppy newspaper." I’m happy to take dogs for several walks a day depending on their normal routine and energy level. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. I have a quiet, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, and I only host dogs from one household at a time. I have a large, fully fenced privacy backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, plus a dog door that can be closed and locked when needed. Dogs are welcome to relax on my large couch, which is always covered with waterproof pet blankets. At night, dogs can sleep in their own crate in my downstairs den, on the couch, or--if they’re well behaved without a crate--on a dog bed in my bedroom. I don’t provide a crate, so owners should bring one if their dog needs it. I prefer to meet new dogs before their first stay so I can learn their routine and make sure I can handle them comfortably and safely. I’m currently best suited for friendly, reliably housetrained adult dogs who aren’t strong pullers, destructive chewers, or determined escape artists.

My family’s dog, a total mixed breed that we raised from a puppy, is a modest 80 lbs. Before we got him, I grew up with a border collie and a cattle dog mix, so I deal well with high energy breeds. About: I have been taking care of friends and family’s dogs for years and simply can’t get enough. I am a currently university. While not at college I live with Baxter my yellow lab, and three cats Binx, Goose, and Milo. I work as a Veterinary Assistant during the summers.I have first hand experience with topical, oral, and aural medication as needed. I am currently a university student. I have the most availability on weekends. I’m available daily during weekdays in the morning and in the evening. I like to start slow especially with the more shy pets. From that point I may use treats or some time for slow sniffing. Once I’ve built a trust with your pet I find it helpful for the dog to watch you pass their leash to me as a passing or trust. For walks the dogs are always leashed. I offer both short and long walks and will match the pace that best suits your pet from slow sniffing filled walks to fast paced trots. I am available for both in home visits and overnight stays, feedings, bathroom breaks, and medication administration as needed.

About: In addition to dog sitting and cat sitting for my family and friends, I have experience with taking care of birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even fish. I’m here to have a relaxing day staying in or going for a run or walk to enjoy the sunshine. We can go for a game of tug of war in the yard! My home office and “Grandma's” living quarters are upstairs, while my boyfriend and I share the downstairs living space. We also have a door that separates the two levels, which allows us to create a separate space for your dog when needed, whether for safety or just to give them some quiet time and a break from our own animals. When introducing a new dog to our pets, we take things gradually and don't expect everyone to become instant best friends. We allow them to get comfortable with each other's presence, supervise their interactions, and give them separate spaces whenever needed. Every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so we let their behavior guide the pace rather than forcing interaction. I always want pets in my care to have a safe, comfortable environment where they can relax and be themselves while their people are away.
