About: Hi, I’m Maddie! 🐾 I’ve had cats and dogs in my life since I was a baby — from tiny Pomeranians to big, lovable German Shepherds. Over the years, I’ve pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors (both dogs and cats!) and love giving pets the care, walks, and attention they deserve. I’m currently a medical resident, which means my schedule shifts weekly — but that actually gives me the flexibility to help care for your pets when you need it most. While I don’t have a yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of fresh air and supervised outdoor time. I can also crate pets upon request to match their routine and keep them comfortable.

About: Although I am new to rover, I have always grown up with a dog in my house and have always been the first to offer my friends help with caring for their dogs whether it’s watching them for a week or just taking them for a walk while my friends are busy! I have experience with both puppies and older dogs. While I am in St Louis over the summer I have a very empty schedule, other than early mornings, so I will have high availability to come and check on your pet throughout the day! I care for pets in the same way that I would want my dog to be cared for! I love spending time with animals so I will always take time to play with them, take long walks, cuddle, etc.

About: I’m a lifelong dog person — there’s never been a time in my life without one! These days, my chocolate lab is enjoying his well-earned retirement (walks are officially off his agenda), which means I have all this love and energy to give. I would absolutely love to be your dog’s favorite part of the day! I currently work full time, as a hybrid employee so I’m working for home at least two days for home with a flexible schedule. About: I volunteer at the APA animal shelter where I walk and play with all types of dogs. I have also taken care of a wide variety of animals including lizards, fish, kittens (2 weeks old), puppies, and turtles! I’m currently working part-time at a restaurant so I have plenty of time to spend time with your animals and make sure they are well taken care of! I give all pets love and affection with different pets needing different things! For dogs I love to take them for walks and give them lots of belly scratches, and for cats I love to play with them and if they like, pet them!

I take my dogs on a walk mostly 3 times a day but again I’m around a lot and get bored easily so might be 5 times a day :) My dogs are definitely spoiled and should not expect anything less for your pet when I’m watching them! I have experience with senior dogs and dogs who need special care such as taking medicine. Mostly home all day and night. I work from home so your pet will always be attended too unless I leave to make a quick errand run. My dogs do have cages but they are barely in them. Whenever I do leave my dogs stay out freely but they do well in their cages when needed. They do get along very well with other pets. Small dogs or large dogs.

Your dog will also have fun hanging out with my friendly pup, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of pics so you never have to worry! Please note: For doggy day care that extends beyond 8 hours, there is an extra charge of $5 per every additional hour. Safety is super important to me! About: As a child, I grew up with having a cat as a pet. I love them so much, but remember begging my parent for a dog for many years. (Currently my boyfriend is allergic to cats so looks like we’re officially dog people) We finally got a family dog when I was 15, a giant sweetheart, St. Bernard named Rocky. I got my first (full responsibility) dog with my high school boyfriend at 17, a big headed, gentle giant Blue Nose Pitbull. And I adopted my soul dog at 19, our stubborn, loving stinky boy, Tyson! We spend the last 15 year together and he went across the rainbow bridge last year. I was so lucky to have my 80 lb boxer pitbull live as much life as he did by my side. As a 34 year old who is pet-less for the 1st time in forever, I’m here to share my love for animals in my spare time with your sweet babies! My schedule changes frequently. Weekdays are usually best for my availability for walks. Weekends are optional for over night care, but I will be working so they need to be house or crate trained. I have a fenced yard shared with a duplex that has no other animals. There are lots of squirrels and bunnies in my area, but otherwise your furry friend will have the whole yard to theirselves!
