About: I grew up with a dog and helped care for various family members pets. I cared for my roommates dog in undergrad and law school. More recently I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for sister when she’s vacationing. I have love and affection for all animals. Most of experience is with older or rescue dogs but I would enjoy taking care of puppies and cats! I am currently working full-time (Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm) but will soon transition to part-time work. I work 5 minutes from my job so I can come home midday for potty breaks and walks when boarding. My weekends are completely open! My condo building has a fenced in dog park and gated parking lot with grassy areas. My unit is on the first floor with a door to the outside. No elevator or stairs required. I live in walking distance to Lafayette Square Park for longer dog walks.

These days, my chocolate lab is enjoying his well-earned retirement (walks are officially off his agenda), which means I have all this love and energy to give. I would absolutely love to be your dog’s favorite part of the day! I currently work full time, as a hybrid employee so I’m working for home at least two days for home with a flexible schedule. About: I’ve grown up around animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, pigs, sheep, and cows, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a dog named Sharon, whom I originally fostered along with her five puppies for eight weeks - an experience that gave me plenty of hands on experience caring for puppies and dogs with different needs and personalities. Many of my closest friendships were built around our shared love of dogs, and we’ve regularly helped care for each other’s pets over the years. I’ve hosted dogs in my own home, as well as stayed in clients’ homes to care for elderly dogs who needed extra attention, patience, and comfort. About: As a child, I grew up with having a cat as a pet. I love them so much, but remember begging my parent for a dog for many years. (Currently my boyfriend is allergic to cats so looks like we’re officially dog people) We finally got a family dog when I was 15, a giant sweetheart, St. Bernard named Rocky. I got my first (full responsibility) dog with my high school boyfriend at 17, a big headed, gentle giant Blue Nose Pitbull. And I adopted my soul dog at 19, our stubborn, loving stinky boy, Tyson! We spend the last 15 year together and he went across the rainbow bridge last year. I was so lucky to have my 80 lb boxer pitbull live as much life as he did by my side. As a 34 year old who is pet-less for the 1st time in forever, I’m here to share my love for animals in my spare time with your sweet babies! My schedule changes frequently. Weekdays are usually best for my availability for walks. Weekends are optional for over night care, but I will be working so they need to be house or crate trained. I have a fenced yard shared with a duplex that has no other animals. There are lots of squirrels and bunnies in my area, but otherwise your furry friend will have the whole yard to theirselves! About: I have a 5 year old 100lb staffordshire terrier named Kaido that I raised and trained since he was 6 weeks old. I crate trained, house trained, recall trained, socialized, and lead trained him myself. I have also Kaido to help work with other dogs that are not well socialized or have anxiety issues. I am currently working two part time jobs as a research coordinator so I am typically able to be flexible with whatever schedule is requested. While my apartment does not have a fenced yard, I do have a large dog crate if needed and have knowledge of many dog parks and trails in the St Louis area.

About: Hi! My name is Maria and I live in St. Louis with my dog, Aviva. I love animals and have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats through personal pet ownership as well as petsitting for others. I enjoy providing pets with the attention, exercise, and care they need to feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I am an experienced pet and house sitter with hands on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including senior pets and animals with special medical needs. I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring recovery, and providing post-operative care following surgeries and medical procedures. As a dog owner myself, I walk 3–5 miles daily and am happy to accommodate pets that require longer walks and higher activity levels. I also have experience handling large dogs and managing a variety of temperaments, including reactive pets, as my own dog is a 70-pound reactive dog. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a remote worker, I enjoy having a reason to get out of the house and stay active. My flexible schedule allows me to be available for drop in visits, potty breaks, feedings, and walks during the workday, while also having longer blocks of time available in the mornings before work and in the evenings after work. I walk several miles a day with my own dog, so regular walks and exercise are already an important part of my routine. I always tailor my care to each pet's individual needs and their owner's routine. Whether I am caring for pets in my client's home or providing drop in visits and walks, I prioritize keeping their schedule as consistent as possible. This includes feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, administering medications if needed, and plenty of attention and affection. For dogs, I ensure they receive appropriate exercise, enrichment, and bathroom breaks. For cats, I focus on maintaining a clean litter box and respecting each cat's comfort level and personality.
