“Ximena is a wonderful care giver! We started out with Fawn going for daycare a couple of days a month. She did well with Ximena's dogs and they all got along. I had her do a couple of sleep-overs too, as it had been a long time since Fawn had been boarded. And at home, she does not sleep in a crate. So when it was time for us to leave on a 10 day trip, I was confident that Fawn was in good hands. Ximena sent daily updates with pictures. It was clear that Fawn was happy where she was, so this was a little vacation for her too. Ximena also gave Fawn a bath the day before pick up. The pics of that were funny! Clearly Fawn was not a fan, but she allowed it to happen anyway. Communication about Fawn was great! I knew what she was doing, eating or not and how she got along with the family and their dogs. Fawn and Madam, a pug, got along very well! And Fawn loved Ximena's daughter!! If you are looking for daycare or boarding, get in touch with Ximena. She is an excellent, caring, and very capable to take care of your small dog.”
“Omg!! Margaret was heaven sent! Our cousin didn’t answer his door to get our pup just 4 1/2 short hours before our flight boarded out of Stl. I ran to Rover and begged for a last minute board. Margaret graciously accepted Teddy into her home and took such good care of him. She was very communicative and kept me informed of how he was doing over this 3 day stay. Our flights were delayed by over 12 hours she was very flexible and allowed him to stay an extra day with no problem. I have 20 yrs of experience working in emergency and critical care, caring for dogs and cats that are very sick and need to be cared for. I am very comfortable caring for healthy dogs/cats or pets that need medications or special care. I work full time, but want to work around my schedule to make Rover work! I would not be able to bring your pet to my house due to I have a German shepherd that takes a while to warm up to. I can walk pets, do check ins, but will not be able to stay the night due to having a family. I am able to walk your pet wherever you prefer, let your dog outside and feed your pet, spend playtime with your pet. I am able and willing to medicate your pet as well or anything the pet requires, even if has special care requests.

About: Seven years ago, I welcomed my first cat into my life, and since then, my appreciation for these amazing creatures has only deepened. About: My home is a dog lover's dream — two friendly dogs already live here and are always ready to make new friends. We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. Since I work from home full-time, I'm always present — whether that's taking a mid-morning break to play in the backyard, keeping an eye on the pack while I'm at my desk, or just being available if anyone needs a cuddle or a quick romp outside. My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day — morning energy bursts, afternoon lounging, outdoor time whenever the mood strikes. Guest dogs just fold right into that routine. Kallie took her time to sniff everything in the house and yard but Catlyn’s easy attitude let Kallie feel comfortable exploring. Her dogs were sweet and Catlyn takes care to be sure all the dogs are getting along or if she needs to separate them. Her yard and home are lovely and she is too. I would recommend Catlyn as a great choice.”
“Fawn is fairly new to Ximena and her pack. I wanted to have a back up sitter for when we wanted to board Fawn. Fawn gets very excited when we pull up to Ximena's house. She knows the dog "pack" and is excited to be there. When I pick her up at the end of the day, she is ready to have a nap, as she has had a busy day walking and playing. Ximena takes very good care of her. I recommend Ximena for caring for your small dog. She and her pack are great!”

About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.

Rough drop off our first time. This time, he started to get excited half a block away!!! “Fawn absolutely LOVES going to Christine's. Her dog, Daisy and Fawn are good buddies. A big plus s that Christine plays with Fawn. Fawn loves balls and Christine mixes up the variety of balls. I swear, when Fawn goes inn Christine's house and finds all the toys she has set up for the day's play, Fawn turns back and looks at me with the biggest, wide eyes and SMILE, I have ever seen on a dog. Our wedding venue allowed for our doggie to be present at the ceremony (she walked the aisle in a flower collar and pearl leash :)!) but not reception, and so we needed not only a dog sitter but one who would be willing to pick up our girl from the wedding venue! James was happy to do it, showed up right on time, and our Chewie happily went with! They sent us cute pics of our babygirl relaxing on their couch and playing in their backyard during the wedding reception. It really put us at ease. We've never had to turn to Rover for dog sitting, usually we have family do it (obviously not an option when the whole family and friend-crew is at the wedding), but now that we know how amazing James and Jennifer are, we are forever grateful and liable to ask for their help again! About: My family has had cats ever since I was 12, I also rescued a goldendoodle 8 years ago and he has been my best friend ever since. I love all types of animals, and have experience with rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, and hamsters as well. I have been pet sitting and dog walking as a vet student for over a year now. I am a veterinary student in my clinical rotation years. I live in a duplex, meaning I have my own house with no roommates. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. I can pet sit from your house if you have multiple pets and are gone for days or pet sit from my own place if you have just a cat or a smaller dog. I live in a duplex at the moment by myself without any pets, but I pet sit for friends a lot, driving over to their places to let the dogs out/walk them, feed the cats/dogs/fish and clean the litter boxes, make sure the water bowls are filled, etc.

Being in Sedalia for a year now, we have also found some very nice enclosed doggy parks that we’ve come to love as well as other great places that no dogs can resist! With in house care, I am home almost 100% of the time so whether we are at my house or yours, time will be spent!

About: I have grown up around and loved pets since I was 7 years old! Many parts of my childhood I grew up with 5 dogs, but we just recently got our first cat. My partner is also an animal lover and grew up with multiple pets his entire life (his mom is a veterinarian!). We now have a 6 month old dachshund, Clover, and a cat, Stella Dallas! We are students so we have really relaxed schedules, and spend a lot of our time working from home. We live in a house that has a large privacy fence with a perfect sized backyard.
