“I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! I have a moderate amount of personal experience with dogs, I've been bathing and caring for my personal and family's dogs for 10 years. About: I have grown up with Dogs and Cats. I have also pet/house sat for friends and family through middle school, high school and college. I have grown up with cats I’ve had/have 4 (Dizzy, Yoyo, Bast and now Tiffany!) My favorite activities with kitties are playing with the string toy, brushing, giving treats and snuggling while reading/watching Tv/doing Homework. I also like to keep the blinds open so the kittens can look out and watch the birds. Lastly of course I love watching them get the zooms! :) As far as Dogs, I’ve had/have 4 German shepherds (Apache, Zoom, Camo and Ranger), 1 husky (Cherokee) and 2 Australian Shepherds (Banjo and Max) My favorite activities with dogs are throwing the ball, running/walking, brushing/baths, snuggles and getting a snack never hurt! :) I have taken pride in self training my dog to be “good K-9 citizens” ex: No jumping, “Sit”, “Down”, “Waite”, “Leave it” and being good on the leash! You just have to figure out what the dog’s favorite reward is. It could be a toy, treat or positive pets/loving!

About: I've always loved animals ever since I was a little girl. Since the age of 9 I've been around all kinds of animals besides dogs and cats. Like birds and reptiles that kinda thing. When I do pet sit for someone I usually try to see what the dogs or cats favorite toy or treat is. Then would go and buy a little goody bag for them, just to tell them that there a good girl or a good boy! Besides watching your pets I try to make sure to tidy up your house and to make sure it's nice before you come home. I'm also a quick learner and would help if your animal needs a certain kind of medicine or treatment. I have some experience with that already but I love to learn new things! I'm currently only working weekends part time. It's just not enough for me and since I love animals why not be a pet sitter or just your everyday dog walker. I try my very best to get to know your pet as much as possible. More like I'll treat your pet like how I treat my own. For an example if they have allergies I'll make a quick note and make sure that I don't give them anything there not supposed to have.

About: My home is a dog lover's dream — two friendly dogs already live here and are always ready to make new friends. We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.
About: Evan grew up on a farm and has been around a rotating cast of animals his whole life including dogs, cats, horses, and a llama. Gabrielle still routinely provides care for her family's 12-year-old golden doodle, Millie and loves dogs of all sizes breeds and personalities. I have veterinary medicine training and can spot health problems right away. I have administered medicine and given medication orally. We offer a unique, kennel-free experience for your furry friends, with 13+ acres of land and lots of woods to explore. ** Fenced in area for our furry friends who need the accommodation, in the works! I am a stay at home momma with my 3 boys. I will be able to provide care for your fur baby all day long. We are very outdoorsy and love to go on walks, play outside, etc. Depending on how your dog does with being off leash, we can keep him/her on leash the whole time or let off to play while we are outside. Must be kid friendly, and we can discuss if you're comfortable with off leash or not. We have 13+ acres for your pup to play on and a fenced in area for those friends who need the accommodation. Of course I can keep your pup on a leash if they need to be, or if you're comfortable with them playing off leash they would get to explore with us. When I went to drop Lottie off she brought her dog down so that they could meet on neutral territory, which was really nice and during the weekend she text me updates and pics every day. I liked that she only took one pet at a time in addition to hers, that made me feel much safer leaving my puppy there. I would definitely recommend and use her services again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable with basic puppy routines, reinforcing good habits, and providing calm, gentle care for anxious or older pets. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout each stay or visit. 🏡 Boarding your pet: I do have two friendly and playful dogs of my own — a Great Dane and a Goldendoodle — along with 3 cats that mostly keep to themselves. Because of this, I always like to make sure personalities and temperaments are a good fit for everyone’s safety and comfort. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet feels at home. 🐾 Pet sitting and drop-in visits in your home: I know many pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, playtime, medications, or simply providing companionship, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. 🚶♀️ Dog walks: Safety is always my biggest priority during walks.
