Winnie is blind and due to this has separation anxiety when we leave her and a little generalized anxiety in new situations. Within a day, Lorri had her wearing a cute little sweater to keep warm on walls (which Winnie refuses to wear for me), had her cuddling on the couch and even took her for walks in a store! I know Winnie was comfortable with her because she was clearly relaxed in the many photos and videos we got while we were away. Lorri is the best!”

About: I've cared for cats since I was a young child. My mom had two cats as I grew up, and once I was 18 I adopted my first cat. When I was 21 I aided a former roommate in fostering kittens from his cats. The two years following that I cared and eventually re-homed roughly 13 kittens; adopting one. About: I own two cats that are actually outdoor cats! We taught them to stay away from the road when out exploring, come back for dinner at a certain time, and we lock them up in a safe, air conditioned/heated room at night to protect them from any dangerous wildlife! They are both 7 years old and we have had them both since they are 12 week old kittens! They love to hangout on the porch outside with us in our laps!

When your pet stays with us, they will not only be safe but will also have a fun and enriching experience. In addition to boarding, we offer professional Training and Grooming services tailored to each dog's needs. My husband works nights and is home during the day to provide expert care and supervision for your pets. As dedicated owners of show dogs, we take pet care seriously and strive to maintain the highest standards in every aspect of our services. Our property features two fully fenced yards for play and exercise. The first is a secure 6-foot chain link and privacy-fenced potty yard, measuring approximately 20 ft x 60 ft. The second is a spacious, fully fenced double lot with rolling hills and lush grass, providing the perfect environment for your pet to run, play, and explore. *Dogs in our care must be crate trained during down time & at night. When we are not at Dog Shows or Training we are at home with our dogs. My husband works nights which means your pets will be left alone minimally. We have 2 fully fenced in yards. A smaller yard with 6ft privacy fence and a large play yard with 4ft roller panels. We do offer medical boarding on a case by case basis at an additional rate.
About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was young. When I got older and moved out on my own, I ended up getting cats too. I currently have 2 cats that live with me, one was adopted and one was a stray kitten that I found in a thunderstorm. I’ve worked at a veterinary hospital doing tasks like feeding animals, administering medication, cleaning up after them, bathing them, etc. I have also worked at a couple of dog boarding shops. So, I can handle a lot of animals at once. I’m quick on my feet, especially when animals are getting too rough with one another. This happened a lot at the doggy daycares I worked at. But I know how to break up dog fights without hurting the pups in the process because of my experience there. I have been pet sitting independently for about 5 years, and I prefer it to being in a shop. I can have a closer relationship with the pets I watch this way. I’ve raised my own dogs and cats, so I know how to take care of them. I also know the certain behaviors to look out for, whether an animal is sick or not acting normal in general. I live on about 7 acres of property. The yard is not fenced, but I can take pups out on a leash. I do have 2 cats with me full-time but they’re very friendly. I have around 9 months of experience of taking care of my puppy. I have trained him in some of the basic commands and sometimes I love to make doggy treats for him. About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of every age of dog. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian my entire childhood. I was even going to try and start the process, but then life happened and my plans had to change. My plans took me to being a stay at home mom to 3 kids who also love animals. While I am no professional, I love trying to help my dogs learn new tricks or commands. Once again not a professional, but I do all of my dogs grooming needs myself. I have clippers and a grinder for nails and all kinds of brushes. For the babies not afraid of vacuums I also have a pet grooming vacuum. I can brush bathe and clip dogs nails at the owners request. If you bring your own shampoo the bath will be at no cost to you. If you dont have any it will just be a small fee for me to use some that I have. I am able to give medications if need be. I can also follow special diet routines if necessary as long as you bring the supplies that are needed. I am a stay at home mom for our 3 kids so when your fur baby is in my care they will hardly ever have to be kenneled. Potty breaks can be as often as needed based on what they are used to at their actual home. Daily walks can be taken(depending on the weather). I would be delighted to care for your dog while you’re away! My home is shared with my husband, our three children, and two friendly dogs who love to play in our fenced yard. I also offer daily walks to keep your pup active and happy. I normally follow a two-meal schedule with my own dogs, but I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine. Since we also have a cat, it’s important that visiting dogs are comfortable around cats. My goal is to make your dog feel as happy and comfortable as possible while you’re gone. If there are any special routines or comforts that help your pup feel at ease, I’ll gladly accommodate them when I can. For higher-energy dogs, I even have experience biking with pups who enjoy an active workout.

Caring for animals is part of my everyday routine. I have dogs of my own, so I’m used to daily walks, feeding, playtime, and providing lots of attention. I schedule my days around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they receive reliable, loving care and their routines stay as consistent as possible. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home by following their normal routine, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of love and attention. I also provide regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I haven't had my own pets in a long time, but I've cared for over a dozen pets that I treated like my own despite belonging to others. I've introduced myself to and won over plenty of pets with my calm and collected approach. The majority of my pet care experience has been through visiting the homes of family friends to give their dogs bathroom breaks and be sure they have some company for a while as their owners are at work or on vacation. On multiple occasions, I've also stayed overnight for multiple days at a time. Because of this, I'm well equipped to meet your pets smoothly and cohabitate with them. I currently work remotely and have plans to attend college online, so I'll have more than enough time to visit at the very least. I can absolutely stay over, as I can simply work wherever I have my laptop if need be. Your pets will always be the first priority, of course. I do not have pets of my own at the moment, but I always treat other people's pets as if they were my own and with respect. If they want attention, they get it. If they want to be left alone, they will be left alone (within reason). Any instructions regarding feeding and medicine will be followed strictly.

I am able to provide services at your personal residence (no night stays) or at my home if dog/cat friendly, and will follow/complete all requests and needs.

About: What sets me apart is my experience with both ends of the dog spectrum: puppies and seniors. I can handle puppy training basics like potty schedules, crate routines, and leash manners, as well as senior care including medication administration and mobility support. You'll get honest daily updates with photos. No fluff, just reliable care. I’m current a college student home for the summer and taking online classes to fill up my time but my schedule is very flexible for your needs. I would say I can promise you that your pets are in great hands since I have always been so attentive with pet care while living with so many animals in my life.
About: New to Rover but not new to dogs and cats! I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with both cats and dogs and caring for them as part of the family. I currently share my home with two cats, a Black Lab, and a German Shepherd. I have experience with reactive dogs, high energy dogs and large breeds. About: As young as I can remember I was raised with animals, specifically cats and dogs. From caring for my own family's pets, to caring for my neighbor's pets, to volunteering with local shelters, I am comfortable and experienced with caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. Aside from my love for animals, I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2024, and I am considering further schooling in the future. I worked with community resources for Specialty need and disabled individuals as well as with seniors in end of care rehabilitation services. Last year I moved from Texas to be closer to family while I worked and explored future possibilities. I'm currently working at a bakery part-time and am able to balance my time well. Typically I can expect two to three days of open availability, and I am willing to care either before or after my working shifts. When caring for others pets I always make sure to ask the owners their preferred methods of care as well as any pertinent information I may need to know. Aside from directions, I care for all animals as if it were my own. My cat is a spoiled baby and I love to shower any pets with a similar efforts.
About: I have had dogs in my house all my life! My family runs a dog grooming store, handling as many as 100-130 clients a week. I have worked in the retail and food service for the last 5 years and have great professional skills and patience. Give your pooch a chance with me and they’ll feel exceptionally loved and tended to! My only other job is Uber Eats, so I am completely flexible! Let me know what times work for you. I am completely open all 7 days of the week and am willing to spend the night!
