“Catherine took amazing care of my dog, Zeus, while I was on vacation! She kept me posted on how he was doing during his stay and sent pictures, which I enjoyed seeing! I would definitely book with her again!.”

“Rachael & John sent photos everyday. Ruby played with their dog and seemed to completely enjoy herself. Their home is clean and welcoming. What I especially liked was that they are home most of the day so Ruby was only crated at night. Could not have had a better experience in leaving our dog with Rachael & John!”

“Yuki, my Frenchie, played hard with Ashley’s dog and other big dogs. He loved pool time and determined he would sleep in Ashley’s bed. He had such a good time that I don’t think he wants to come home! I rebooked with Ashley a couple weeks from now. She sent me pictures several times. I highly recommend her!”

“Sarah had great communication. We received multiple pictures and updates during our week long trip. Our dogs also seemed to have a great time with her! Would definitely use her again!”

“Coney was fantastic and so easy to work with! This was our first time leaving our dog with a Rover sitter, and we were super nervous, but Coney made the experience stress-free. She was great at communicating, sent us daily photos, and made sure our pup was well cared for. We truly appreciated her updates and the peace of mind she provided. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Eric and Kristy took great care of Koka. We appreciated the personal care she recieved. The photos and updates were great. She seemed comfortable. They even helped her through her first night when she was feeling some anxiety sleeping at a new house.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Taylor! We were a bit nervous at first since Steven has only ever stayed with one other person before, but Taylor immediately put us at ease. She was so warm, communicative, and clearly great with dogs. We loved getting daily updates and pictures—it was obvious Steven was having a great time. He looked so happy in every photo, and honestly, a little sad when it was time for him to go! We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust, and we’d absolutely book with Taylor again.”

“Angelica was super responsive and sweet! She made sure Coop was comfortable with his first night away from home. He was worn out from all the playing when we picked him up! Definitely recommend for your pups!”

“A fantastic experience with Stevie watching my Darlin'. First time I've left her and she was very happy and well cared for when I picked her up. Much better experience than with previous pet. Would feel very comfortable leaving her with Stevie in future! Thanks!”

“Bandit was so happy and calm when I picked him up. It was very clear he was comfortable and well taken care of! She took him on several walks and sent many pictures. He was a HAPPY BOY!!”

“Gail was very accommodating for my two dogs. She sent daily updates and pictures to put me at ease. My older dog Marble has anxiety and I knew she would take a few days to settle down. Gail assured me that she was doing ok. Ginger is a puppy and very high maintenance. I am glad she made friends to play with.”
“Nicole was great! Super responsive, even on short notice, as we had just learned about Rover.com. We were able to set up our booking & begin it within a few hours. Received pictures & reassuring texts from Nicole periodically through the entire booking. Will definitely use her in the future!”

“Laura was awesome! Great communication with photo updates which were so appreciated. She made the boarding experience worry free, answered all of my questions and I felt assured my little Charlie was safe and taken care of. Thank you Laura!!”

“Alaniz is very sweet and takes great care of my dog! It’s a peace of mind to find great loving care while we are away. My dog gets extremely excited every time he sees Alaniz 💕Awesome care!”

“Sierra did a wonderful job of taking care of our kitties while we were out of town! She also went above and beyond by offering to bring mail & packages inside. She is very sweet and communicative, and our cats (the ones who didn’t hide) loved her. 😊 100% recommend.”

“Raelee was amazing with my puppy, Wrigley. She was on time, dedicated time to helping with inconveniences, and was very communicative! I will recommend her a million times over and over, she’s the best!”

Working from home grants me the flexibility to be there for your pups and other animals whenever they need me. Equipped with experience from puppy training classes, I'm confident in my ability to handle even the most energetic puppies. Additionally, I am trained in dog CPR, ensuring the safety of your beloved pets. As a former collegiate softball player, I maintain excellent physical fitness, enabling me to keep up with your dogs throughout the day effortlessly. Whether it's feeding, exercise, playtime, or administering any necessary medications, I can be there to tend to their needs promptly. Additionally, I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent routine for pets, so I ensure that their feeding and exercise schedules align with their usual habits. Rest assured, your furry companions will receive dedicated care and supervision, as I am always present and ready to meet their needs. The way I care for pets in my home or a client's home depends on the specific service being provided. Here are a few scenarios: In the client's home: Pet Sitting: When providing pet sitting services at a client's home, I make sure to replicate the pet's daily routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding them according to their usual schedule, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs for walks, and engaging in playtime or exercise based on their specific needs. I also offer companionship and affection to help reduce any separation anxiety they may experience. Drop-in Visits: During drop-in visits, I visit the client's home at scheduled times to check on their pets. I ensure they have food and water, clean litter boxes, let dogs out for bathroom breaks, and spend quality time with them, offering play and affection. Dog Walking: For dog walking services, I take the dogs on stimulating walks to provide exercise, mental stimulation, and an opportunity for bathroom breaks. I follow any instructions regarding route preferences, leash handling, or specific behavioral considerations. Regardless of the service provided, the well-being, safety, and happiness of the pets are my top priorities. I strive to create a comfortable and nurturing environment, maintain their regular routines, and shower them with love and attention, just as their owners would.
About: I have always been an animal lover. I grew up in a home that always had a fur baby and as I grew up I have always had a fur baby of my own. I personally believe owning a pet makes a house a home. Aside from my personal experience with pets, I also was an assistant at an in-home pet sitting business for 4+ years. I currently work full-time as a nurse practitioner. My weekly schedule consists of 4 10 hour shifts 6:00am-4:30pm. I have all evenings available during the week for pet sitting. I have 1 weekday per week available and do not work at the hospital on weekends, which make them perfect for pet sitting! I will make sure to discuss your pets routine with you in detail to ensure their schedule is not disrupted when you are away. Consistency is important to not only us, but also our fur babies. Keeping things consistent and providing quality 1:1 time are a priority of mine.
About: I have three dogs, two wonderful twin golden retrievers that are 5 years old. They are my whole world and so are my sister and brother’s dogs/cats! My sister has been doing rover in KC for over 7 years so it’s been a great way to experience rover and the necessities for all kinds of pets. Additionally, I’ve been a volunteer at Unchained Melodies puppy nursery and KC Pet Project for the last few years <3 I’m currently a post-graduate student preparing for medical school here in a year so I have a lot of time for longer term pups. I’m preparing for work part-time as well in the fall but I have a very open and flexible schedule. I have helped dog sit for years now and of course I’ve taken care of my own dogs since they were just babies. Unfortunately, I’m unable, for the most part, to have animals stay at my house however, I’m open if necessary. I walk and feed my own dogs daily and they take a lot of space so I want them to feel comfortable in their own environment.
About: My first dog was a St. Bernard named Abner when I was two and I've loved and had dogs in my life ever since . I always end up being the one people ask to watch their fur babies or help with them ( baths, training, socializing with people). I've assisted in training and working with dogs that were considered to have behavioral issues. Utilizing guidance and the experience of military k-9 handlers in the past helped me develop a confidence in taking the lead with dogs that are considered to have behavioral issues . The love and protection I've felt for my own fur babies is something that can reassure you that no matter what you need for me to know about your pet ...I will hear you and adhere to it. I know that I've been considered particular when stressing the care expected of my own .You'll have the security of knowing that no matter how "small " , that every detail will be important. From their favorite toy to medications, to fears and dislikes. I'm very active and can give high drive pups the outlet they need . A more mellow or elderly dog will get equal attention with lots of snuggles. Reassurance will be plentiful for the pups or kitties that are nervous or struggle with separation. I'm experienced in caring for elderly pets and the gentleness and patience needed there. Personal losses and empathy developed caring for my own through senior years will allow you the trust that I genuinely know how precious they are . I've had experience with service and service dogs in training and understand how essential the consistency and handler's direction is when caring for them. NOBODY knows your pet better than you and it's upsetting when guidelines aren't followed by someone. It's not just annoying but can be nerve-wracking when a sitter doesn't seem to take things seriously. With me ,if you say your cat won't eat unless I shake the bag twice and meow .. I got you . If you say that your dog is an escape artist and securing the perimeter like I'm transferring a prisoner is needed...I got you . I have a genuine love for animals and tend to feel a connection with people who know how deep that bond is . No matter what the level of care needed , I'll work with you to create the best experience that your beloved furry family member can have in your absence. I work remotely and am able to be flexible in my availability. Odd hours , including late nights or early mornings are not an issue . Overnights/ extended care are possibilities too . The circumstances of in home care will vary depending on your preference and location. I'm available for in home care ( overnights / vacation stays) in your home. I bring my own bedding/ food and will be the only person in or around your home. I'm comfortable with reasonable camera surveillance, drug testing, background checks or anything else needed to offer you security that not only your pet is in trusted hands but your home is secure too.

“Alaina did us a solid with a short notice daysitting opportunity. We needed someone to watch our two girlz while we were engaged during an out of town trip.
About: I have a genuine love for animals and take great pride in providing reliable, caring pet-sitting services. Having grown up on a farm, I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, from household pets to livestock. This background has taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for animals of all kinds. I treat every pet as if it were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I attend school online, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This allows me to travel for pet-sitting jobs and even stay overnight when needed, as long as there’s Wi-Fi so I can keep up with my classes. Since I’m currently applying for more jobs, my availability is open and adaptable, making it easy for me to provide consistent, reliable care for pets whenever I’m needed. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routines as closely as possible so the pets feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also take time to clean up after them, whether that’s refreshing litter boxes, wiping paws, or tidying up their spaces. If I’m staying overnight, I make sure the home stays neat and the pets get extra attention and companionship. My goal is always to create a safe, calm, and loving environment while keeping the owner’s home just as they left it.

“Nathen has been awesome with our dog for several overnight stays. He is super kind, responsive and flexible with us. You can tell our dog Coco loves to spend time at his place and now doesn’t even say goodbye to us when she arrives for a sleep over, she is just so excited to be there. We’ve had Coco stay over for just a few nights to more than 2 weeks and it has been a great experience every time. I would highly recommend him!!”

“This was our third time leaving our dog with Lona and Alan. She's now spent nearly 20 days in their care over the course of the three trips and I know each day she was taken care of wonderfully. I Would recommend them in a heartbeat!”

“Lori is wonderful. She made Lucy feel at home. I got photos of things Lucy was doing when she ate and when she went out and partied and even just some cool photos of her sitting on the sofa, I felt like Lucy was in a wonderful home. Thank you so much excellent Service and I appreciate it.”

“Rebecca is amazing! She does a great job taking care of our dog. She treats him like he's one of her family and he loves being there. She sends regular picture updates so we know he's doing well when we're away. Highly recommend Rebecca!”
