They had lots of toys to play with and were clearly happy and well cared for. We also loved that we were able to drop them off and pick them up daily, so we could still see them while on vacation. Their location was super easy and convenient, right by Branson Landing, which made it perfect for pup-friendly shopping and nature walks. We will FOR SURE be booking with them again. “We decided to stay over another day, Kind of a spontaneous decision, And of course we didn't have accommodations for our pets. So, we began calling around, also leaving messages through The Rover app, and asking different boarding availabilitys about having last minute booking. Not too many people responded. Janet, though, to my surprise, responded with a rapid message. I was surprised becaus in her brief bio and what some of her preferences were of clients, like a 7-Day meet and greet I was thinking like" she's she's definitely got her ways and she's not going to call me back !" Boom!! We had a booked appointment and our pets at our place, she was a little busy when we first contacted her which had a 1-hour delay which was fine, not too longer than an hour and a half after we contacted her. And she lives in West Branson not Springfield,BTW. SUPER KIND BIG HEART!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. “We have one easy dog (though not too easy because he is still a puppy and not fully potty trained) and a challenging 5 year old maltese that doesn't trust easily. Leaving him has always been a challenge. We've never felt so comfortable being gone from him as when Lael had him. I don't mind being away from him but I worry about him being trouble for the person keeping him. He wasn't an easy keep for her but she was so open to letting him warm up and adjust to her. By the last couple days he was snuggling on her lap and following her around like he does with me. She also was great with our puppy and continuing his potty training. He in particular loved running in her big, fenced yard with her dogs and having access to a doggy door. While we were gone she sent videos and pictures and gave us regular updates. “I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Samantha!!! My mom lives in Aurora Mo and I live 9 hours away in Wisconsin, my mom ended up in the hospital and I had no one to go let her dogs out. Samantha answered my message for help in just minutes saying she could assist with taking care of the dogs. She was even able to let them out and feed them the SAME NIGHT as my distress message. Set up 2 more visits for the next day as well because my dad wouldn’t be home until later that night. About: I have cared for pets all my life. I have always had a dog or 2 in my house that are spoiled and had me well trained. I owned a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming business in Ozark for 8 years.. I retired about four years ago. Since I am retired, I am home most of the day, except for a few errands to run occasionally. I live alone with two senior dogs who get along with most other animals. There are no children in the house. My home is all one level, with a fully fenced backyard. Fur babies cared for in my home have free run of the house, are allowed to be on the furniture, (unless the owner request differently). I am capable of crating your loved one if they are already crate trained… Your fur babies will get lots of love and ear scratches. I’m experienced in various diets and food prep along with medication’s, including injections.

About: My husband WFH while I love on pets full time! We have fostered through rescue organizations for 6 years now, always a rewarding experience! We used to do Rover full time in Kansas City KS, 2022-2024 before moving to our current house in MO. I helped raise 4 tiny puppies and found them furever homes. We have hosted up to 11 dogs at once utilizing 3 sections of the house as play group areas and rotation outside every couple hours. We recently fostered a puppy, Millie, who turned out to have a terminal life threatening illness. We adopted her and cared for her until her time to go was up. We also have a 6 year old dog that is now epileptic and on daily seizure meds. We have experience with all ages and medical conditions of life. As for training, I taught my first dog how to use buttons to communicate, crate train, and the regular dog commands. This is my full time job, my life's purpose, all thanks to my supportive husband who works from home. Every dog deserves the devotional and loyal love they give so freely! I am here to give back to them all the love they share and more. Through life I have learned that Safety and Trust are key to every relationship and home environment. Before integrating the dogs together, it is imperative I spend intentional time with the new dog to help it adjust to its new environment or to my new presence.

About: We love dogs! We are called first when any of our friends go out of town. We have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages from older doxies to young mutts and we love large rotties too. We are also okay with special needs dogs and we make sure your dog gets their medications when scheduled. Our lab loves to make new friends with dogs of all sizes. About: I love dogs and working with dogs. I am an experienced dog sitter/ trainer. My mother has fostered dogs since I was born 30+ years ago. I have cared for just about every dog there is. I took canine science class in High school and learned how to properly care/groom/train/canine CPR. I'm also human CPR certified just in case you get heart broken leaving your pet. I would like to get an awesome set up again someday but in the meantime all potty breaks are on a leash as much as they need. I'm right next door to the dog park with a hiking trail. About: I use to run a ranch full of all sorts of animals, and was basically the vet there as well as a horse trainer. I currently have 4 dogs and a cat . I love to see new animal friends and visit with them and see how happy they get when going for a walk or just throwing the ball. I'm athletic and go for mountain bike rides with my dogs and go on hikes as well, also am strong enough for those pups that like to pull. My favorite part of the day is being around my pets and family. I am a stay at home mom who homeschools my child so it can be great to go for walks with pets and get outside. I will care for the pets by loving them and listening to the owners requests . My pets get treats sometimes and outdoor play everyday as well as walks ,weather permitting of course.when it's cold outside we tend to just snuggle up on the couch next to a fire.

About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. “We have one easy dog (though not too easy because he is still a puppy and not fully potty trained) and a challenging 5 year old maltese that doesn't trust easily. Leaving him has always been a challenge. We've never felt so comfortable being gone from him as when Lael had him. I don't mind being away from him but I worry about him being trouble for the person keeping him. He wasn't an easy keep for her but she was so open to letting him warm up and adjust to her. By the last couple days he was snuggling on her lap and following her around like he does with me. She also was great with our puppy and continuing his potty training. He in particular loved running in her big, fenced yard with her dogs and having access to a doggy door. While we were gone she sent videos and pictures and gave us regular updates. “Mikala was amazing and anytime I need an overnight sitter she is the first person I will call on. My Gypsy was so taken care of over the thanksgiving holiday. I received regular pictures and updates with a smiling puppy with her new friends. A special thanks to Mikala and her husband for helping me with our puppy drop off as I was hospitalized a few hours after our meet and greet and wasn’t able to meet personally. That meant so much to me that these sweet people went out of their way to help me. I would absolutely recommend Mikala for any service with Rover.
