“My 5 year old golden had an amazing time with Matt, Angel, and their two sweet dogs. Tons of photos and videos, as well as a detailed (and quite funny) daily update. Lots of walks, treats, and playtime too. Would absolutely book with them again.”
“Brock and Rashelle provided exceptional care for my beloved fur baby. Their kindness and affection truly shone through, making my pet feel right at home. He had a wonderful time playing with their pup, and I appreciated the daily walks and outdoor playtime they ensured he had. I also loved receiving regular updates and photos, which brought me peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend their services!”

“Nicole is the BEST! Sent tons of pictures and gave multiple updates throughout our babies’ stay with her. Nicole was communicative & accommodating and we will be booking with her again!!”

“Thank you, Alicen! She was fantastic - she responded quickly to messages and was very organized, and, most importantly, she was comfortable and fully equipped to handle our reactive dog for a last-minute weekend trip. Her understanding of dog behavior is impressive and just what we needed to feel comfortable leaving our dog with someone we just met for a weekend. We will definitely hire her again!”

“I've had very good luck with sitters on Rover. We've never had one we didn't like, but our experience with Catlyn was above and beyond. Our dog was treated like part of the family and had a great time spending a week with Catlyn's dogs and being a part of her family. I will never feel bad about leaving our dog with a sitter if she is in Catlyn's hands. She is also great at communicating and sending updates with photos and video. Highly recommend.”

“Victoria was very communicative with updates and pictures of our grand dog Frank. This is the 2nd time she has pet sitted him during the Christmas holidays and we feel very comfortable with her doing so. Frank is an English Bulldog and can be a little stubborn at times, but she handled him just fine! I will keep her in my address book for sure!”

“Mooncake always has the best time with Stephanie, Kyle, and their sweet dogs! Stephanie sends frequent and thoughtful updates with wonderful photos and videos throughout the day, which I always appreciate. Mooncake is so happy and comfortable with them that he rarely wants to leave—he always tries to sneak in a few extra snuggles with Stephanie at the door. I'm so grateful for the care they give him!”

“Scout came back home happy and tired. Amanda shared photos during her stay and has been extremely responsive throughout the process. We'll have Scout stay with her again very soon. ”
“I needed to find a babysitter quickly and Haley accepted my last minute babysitter request. Kona enjoyed his stay! Haley sent updated photos throughout his entire stay to keep me tuned in with how Kona was doing. I loved all the photos that gave me reassurance that Kona was doing well. Thank you for taking good care of Kona while I was away. It makes me happy knowing that Kona was well taken care of when Im not available. I feel like Kona misses you. Thank you for being so good to me and Kona. We will be returning in the future.”

“Mary did a great job for us today. The couple we usually use to board our boy, Dobby, was unavailable to help us today. Mary stepped up and took great care of Dobby. She picked him up and dropped him off for us. Wonderful service. Dobby seemed to enjoy his time being boarded with Mary. We will use Mary again, as we may need.”

“Natalie was great! She sent us plenty of updates, and our fur baby really enjoyed his time with her!! We will continue to use Natalie in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a passionate care provider!”

“I really appreciated Jennifer's flexibility with pick up and drop off. Zorro loved his time there. He got to play with Jennifer's other dogs and because Jennifer has children he played with a child which Zorro absolutely loves since he doesn't interact with children much. She has a backyard which was a great plus!”

“Weiling took excellent care of Lisa and Maggie. She was always very attentive to their needs and made sure they were comfortable and happy throughout their stay. She sent lots of photos and updates, which gave me great peace of mind, and she absolutely spoiled them with love and attention. Communication was open, consistent, and easy from start to finish. She was also very flexible with scheduling, which I really appreciated. I would not hesitate to leave Lisa and Maggie with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.”

“Megan has been an absolute lifesaver once again, taking wonderful care of my dog, Jaxson. Her dedication and genuine love for animals are truly exceptional. Jaxson always comes back happy, well-exercised, and clearly well-loved. Megan’s attention to detail and reliability give me complete peace of mind whenever I have to be away. I can’t thank her enough for her outstanding care and highly recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thank you, Megan!”

“Erin did a great job taking care of my puppy for the weekend! When I went to drop Lottie off she brought her dog down so that they could meet on neutral territory, which was really nice and during the weekend she text me updates and pics every day. I liked that she only took one pet at a time in addition to hers, that made me feel much safer leaving my puppy there. I would definitely recommend and use her services again!”

“Dani and her wife were great with our dog Lucy while we were out of town! They took extra time to get to know her and sent reports and photos each day. I really appreciated the love and attention they gave her, and Lucy got along with their two dogs after getting to know them. They have a nice home and fenced yard. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of my families two cats since I was little, so I sort of felt there was something missing when I went to live on my own. Thankfully my cat Sarah has once again put the joys and chaos of owning a cat back in my life. Had her for over a year now and she is truly the best.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to work with your pet’s routine to make sure they’re well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Thats how love flows. I work remotely 2 days a week and 2 days at the office but my schedule is flexible. I treat any dog as if it my own. I see no differences. Their love is unconditional, and so its mine. During the time together, we are.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Overton
About: My home is a dog lover's dream — two friendly dogs already live here and are always ready to make new friends. We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. Since I work from home full-time, I'm always present — whether that's taking a mid-morning break to play in the backyard, keeping an eye on the pack while I'm at my desk, or just being available if anyone needs a cuddle or a quick romp outside. My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day — morning energy bursts, afternoon lounging, outdoor time whenever the mood strikes. Guest dogs just fold right into that routine. There's always someone to play with, always a sunny spot to nap in, and always a human nearby. My home is set up to be as dog-friendly as possible. The backyard is fully fenced, so dogs have safe, free access to outdoor space all day long — no leash required for backyard time. Inside, they're treated like family: furniture is fair game, the bed is open, and there are plenty of indestructible toys to keep them entertained. With two resident dogs already in the mix, guest dogs are never bored or lonely. There's always a playmate available, and I'm always nearby since I work from home full-time. I keep a close eye on group dynamics to make sure everyone is comfortable and playing nicely. I aim to keep routines as close to what your dog is used to as possible — feeding schedules, rest time, outdoor play — so the transition feels easy and low-stress for them. My goal is simple: your dog goes home happy, tired, and already looking forward to their next visit.

“My dog has been getting daycare services with Ximena for about 3 weeks now and I couldn't be happier. Ximena is literally the most lovely and kind person I have ever met. She treats my dog as if she's one of her own. Ximena and her family are truly lovely people who genuinely love dogs. They always go above and beyond during my dogs visits, take tons of photos and give consistent updates. They cater to my dog and take such good care of her. I'm so happy that I found Ximena and I have no plans of ever taking her anywhere else.”

“Shannon was very patient and accommodating while we tried to figure out if we would need her or not. And I'm confident our little Lily was in good hands with her. Had a very positive, easy experience...highly recommend Shannon!”

“Christine, and her dog Daisy, make Fawn's day each Tuesday. Fawn loves going there and absolutely goes bonkers when we pull up to their house. But today, Christine went above and beyond for me. My car told me I had a low tire. And it was really low. I told her my husband would be there to air it up. She jumped in and got an air compressor from her garage and aired my tire. I was able to get home safely and my husband did not have to drive in to do that for me. I highly recommend Christine if you are looking for play dates for your pup. And Daisy loves having friends over.”

“Caleb accepted our last minute booking and was very accommodating. We had a really early drop off and a late pickup and they had no issue with that. Curry had a great time with their family. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs daycare services!”

“Jennifer and James were such a God-send when Spenser and I were getting married last week!! Our wedding venue allowed for our doggie to be present at the ceremony (she walked the aisle in a flower collar and pearl leash :)!) but not reception, and so we needed not only a dog sitter but one who would be willing to pick up our girl from the wedding venue! James was happy to do it, showed up right on time, and our Chewie happily went with! They sent us cute pics of our babygirl relaxing on their couch and playing in their backyard during the wedding reception. It really put us at ease. We've never had to turn to Rover for dog sitting, usually we have family do it (obviously not an option when the whole family and friend-crew is at the wedding), but now that we know how amazing James and Jennifer are, we are forever grateful and liable to ask for their help again! Thanks SO much!!”

About: My family has had cats ever since I was 12, I also rescued a goldendoodle 8 years ago and he has been my best friend ever since. I love all types of animals, and have experience with rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, and hamsters as well. I have been pet sitting and dog walking as a vet student for over a year now. I am a veterinary student in my clinical rotation years. I live in a duplex, meaning I have my own house with no roommates. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. I can pet sit from your house if you have multiple pets and are gone for days or pet sit from my own place if you have just a cat or a smaller dog. I live in a duplex at the moment by myself without any pets, but I pet sit for friends a lot, driving over to their places to let the dogs out/walk them, feed the cats/dogs/fish and clean the litter boxes, make sure the water bowls are filled, etc.

I've raised both a Beagle and a French Bulldog from puppyhood and have experience caring for senior dogs as well. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality, whether they're energetic and playful or happy to spend the day snuggled up on the couch. I'm a stay-at-home mom and work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pup attention, playtime, walks, and lots of love. Your dog's happiness and safety will always be my priority. We even have a separate room available for them who would feel more comfortable having their own quiet space while staying with us. My family recently moved to Missouri from Hawaii, where I had the opportunity to care for many wonderful dogs. I truly enjoy being around animals and would love to treat your furry family member like one of my own. For me, the pet care including my dog is the most priority in my life. I’m currently working as a freelance so my schedule is very flexible! I can definitely change my schedule to suit to your request, please feel free to let me know! I will pay my FULL attention to our dogs all the time, and if you have any requests I’d love to do anything you and your dog will love! Your pets' happiness and safety will always be my priority. We even have a separate room available for them who would feel more comfortable having their own quiet space while staying with us.

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Overton
About: I have over 5 years of pet-sitting experience and have had dogs my entire life, giving me extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. What sets me apart is my commitment to providing personalized care and maintaining each pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. In addition to pet sitting, I occasionally volunteer at a puppy nursery that cares for rescued mother dogs and their newborn puppies. This experience has given me additional exposure to caring for young puppies, monitoring their needs, and helping provide a safe and nurturing environment during an important stage of their development. I am comfortable caring for multiple pets, administering basic medications if needed, and providing extra patience and attention to puppies, senior pets, and animals with specific routines. Whether a pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having companionship throughout the day, I adapt my care to meet their individual needs. I understand that every pet is unique, and I strive to provide reliable, attentive care while keeping owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. I am currently taking online classes over the summer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and overnight care. My priority is always providing a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for pets. I live on 12 acres in a quiet setting and have one small, very friendly Cocker Spaniel. While my yard is not fenced, pets are always supervised outdoors and can be kept on long leads for safe exercise and exploration when appropriate. I never allow pets off-leash unless specifically instructed by the owner and it is safe to do so. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while keeping their environment clean and secure. I understand that trust is important when someone is caring for a beloved pet, so I maintain open communication and provide regular updates and photos. I also pay close attention to each pet's behavior and needs to ensure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout my time with them.

I would not hesitate to leave Lisa and Maggie with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.”

“Jessica is absolutely incredible! She took care of our baby two weekends in a row, the second weekend being pretty last minute. She was super accommodating to having him at last minutes notice. She sends lots of pictures each day and made sure he was happy at all times. Being COVID pup parents, we wanted to make sure he was in the best hands and she delivered 10/10 times! With her watching many dogs during the day, Stetson came back so tired and so happy from weekends of playing! Will book her anytime we need help in the Columbia Area. I can't recommend her enough!”

“Julie was wonderful, she accommodated me for a last minute booking and the boys had a great time with her. She had never administered an insulin shot before but was comfortable learning how to and was great about communicating. Would definitely book again, thank you so much!”

“Samantha was great at communicating and taking pictures while we were gone. She spent extra time comforting Pilgrim during the 4th of July celebrations. Would definitely use again!”

About: I have training experience & trained my pup myself! We play, snuggle, walk, and continue to practice training every day! I love teaching my pup new tricks, and can do the same for yours! We are very happy & energetic in our home! My sweet Buster gets along with other animals very well! He's a sweetie! I make sure to do mentally stimulating activities and challenges for Buster! They're so good for dogs! I make them fun and rewarding! I can do that for your baby too! I work full-time. And when I come home, my attention is on my pup- getting his energy out and having fun! If your request is for house sitting, I would need to bring my dog along with me. I'm home all evenings and all weekends. On the weekend, especially, I'll be available to do all the caring for your sweet babe!! The #1 thing is I don't give my dog people food. If I do, he only gets safe fruits & veggies and cheese. I don't have anything a dog could choke on or really swallow. I put Buster in a kennel when I'm gone, but I could leave your dog out if they don't do kennels. Please ask me questions if you have any!
“Donna was quick to respond to my inquiry and schedule a meet & greet prior to booking. She was accomodating to the extended times I needed, seemed knowledgeable with dogs, sent me updates while my puppy was in her care, and I picked up a happy puppy when I got back! I will book with her again!”
