Personalized care for your dog or cat - Niangua

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Niangua
“Karen & Delbert's place is Brandon's home away from home! He loves to play with their dog and knows his name very well. I asked him if he wanted to go play with Bairn and he got so excited, running back and forth, looking out the window and wagging his tail! He couldn't wait to get there. They will treat your dog like it is their own. Highly recommend.”

“Jennifer provided excellent service. Our dog was loved and cared for as part of their family. We will be using her again - we have already reserved another time. She also provides excellent communication and updates.”

About: Booking with me allows for your dog to get a well rounded experience that will keep them comfortable while also providing fun and healthy experiences for them! I live on a 40 acre farm that has many trails, animals, and senes that keep your dog happy, safe, and busy! I also have studied k9 behavior and know how to provide your dog socialization and stimulation! I am currently a student at a local college where I play basketball! This allows me to be home in between classes and practices unlike somebody with a full time job. I can provide potty brakes every 2-4 hours as well as walks and play time! I have loved animals since I can remember! Making sure they are happy and well cared for is a must! I will treat your pet as my own and I understand your pet is not just an animal but rather a member of your family! Ensuring they are treated as such is important to me. Fresh water, attention, play time, cuddles, and more are very important to me. I also understand you need updates! Pictures and frequent communication between me and you is also important to me!

“Ashlyn and her pets were fantastic with my sometimes-reactive dog. She listened to my cautious instructions and made sure my dog had a warm start-up to his week-long stay. Thank you!! Will be returning in the future :).”

“Molly provided excellent care for our Corgi. I received pictures and notes keeping me updated. I was concerned that our pickup time might change due to airline changes and she was flexible to work with me. I very much appreciated the love she provided.”

“Nella was great with our dog! She made sure to keep us updated regularly, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with her. We truly appreciated her kindness, attentiveness, and communication. Highly recommend Nella to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet!”

“Kaitlan did a great job accommodating my last minute request and put my mind at ease while I was out of town visiting family with updates and pictures. My dog came home happy and healthy, would definitely book again. Thank you kaitlan!”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and enjoy spoiling them. I have two dogs and a chinchilla. We’ve previously owned cats as well but don’t have any in the home currently. I work Monday through Friday and have holidays off, which gives me plenty of time to spend with our pups. When I’m not working, I love playing, cuddling, and making sure they feel loved and spoiled. I would love the opportunity to welcome your pups into our home, give them lots of attention, and make them feel like part of the family. We have a large, fenced-in backyard where dogs have plenty of space to run, play, and explore. The yard is enclosed with a 5-foot chain-link fence to help keep everyone safe, including our dog Pepper, who loves to jump. We’re located in a quiet subdivision outside of town, away from busy highways, allowing us to provide a peaceful and secure environment for your pups to enjoy.
“Courtney and daughter took great care of our puppy Leia. She was with her, in her house or on walks ,virtually the entire time were out of town. She responded quickly in a somewhat of an emergency situation for us. So happy we were able to connect with Courtney. Thanks again!!”

“This was the first time we had to leave our dogs with a sitter, so we were a little nervous but Lexy was caring and attentive to our dogs and everything they needed. One of our dogs needed extra care being a week post-surgery and Lexy handled it so well. She sent us pictures while we were away, and we could see they seemed happy and having fun. I highly recommend Lexy for dog sitting and I will use her again if I need a dog sitter.”

About: We have taken care of dogs most of our life. We’ve also became experts with senior dog care since ours has reached that stage. One is a diabetic so we understand the importance of medicine and a schedule. If your dog requires extra care, just let us know and we’ll make sure their given everything they need. Currently, we can offer service whenever you need it. We’ll be home all day to make sure your doggie gets all the attention they need to make their time away from you less stressful. We have a fenced in backyard to keep your fur baby safe, along with three other dogs to keep them company. If needed, we do have a crate that your dog can utilize while here.
“Mikala was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Remy and treated her like part of the family. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear Remy was happy and comfortable. Mikala was also incredibly flexible and understanding when my drop-off plans changed multiple times, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. She even reached out after I picked Remy up because she found one of Remy’s bowls and offered to ship it back to me. That level of thoughtfulness really meant a lot. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and I would absolutely trust Mikala with Remy again. Highly recommend!”

“Gerrad provided excellent care for my dog. He sent regular updates and made sure she was comfortable throughout the stay. He stayed on top of her daily medications and was easy to communicate with. We will definitely use him again if we need a sitter!”

“Markie tried so hard to make Sadie comfortable. However, Sadie just isn't herself when she's not with us, her owners. She's very timid around people she does not know. Markie followed all my instructions and was very good to Sadie, walking her and allowing her some space. Markie was very good at keeping in touch and sending pictures I recommend her services!”

“Tiffany is a joy and truly loves the pets she cares for. Our pet was well cared for and had such a great experience with Tiffany. She is excellent at communicating and keeping us up-to-date! She went out of her way to provide the best service and care for our pet!! We are so glad we met her and will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Our super high separation anxiety diva lab was so happy when we picked her up and we got plenty of pictures and updates while we were gone. She went on walks, was fed and had the cutest play mate while being taken care of by Tyler. Definitely recommend”

“Nancy and Kevin not enough good things can be said about you two. Bruno had the time of his life and its thanks to you guys. There were so many pictures and videos that I never had to worry and it was so much fun seeing how happy he was. THANK YOU so much for everything and Bruno will be back!!”

“Dillon was great! He sent me many updates on Beckett and was very flexible with pickup and drop off times- especially for this last minute booking. I will definitely be using him again!”

“Katelyn is the best. I have used Rover for two years & fortunately Katelyn has been available each time. My cats love her. She feeds them twice a day, makes sure they have plenty of water & cleans the litter box. She also gets my mail, packages off my porch & has watered my outside flowers.”

“Breelyn always does great with my cat! He excited to have a visitor and loves that she plays with him. Breelyn is great about sending pictures and a note about what they did that day.”

About: I have loved animals my whole life. I’ve taken care of friend’s, family’s and my own cats and dogs since I was a kid. I’m gentle and patient with all animals and have years of experience with many different cats and dogs.
“If you need a pet sitter and you are in Markie's travel area, don't hesitate to enlist her. Markie is very conscientious and caring. My cats are shy and leery of strangers. Unbelievably, Markie was able to make "friends" with my girl. Next time I need a sitter, I will definitely hire Markie. No doubt. Thank you Markie!!!”

About: I treat every cat with patience and respect for their unique personality. I’m comfortable with shy cats, seniors who need medication or extra care, and keeping routines consistent to reduce stress. I provide gentle attention, clean litter boxes thoroughly, and send regular updates so you always feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I have been taking care of cats my whole life. I now have three that are my whole entire world and would love to start watching yours.I will clean litter, Administer medication if needed play with all the fun toys cats have and even cuddle if they will let me.
About: I'm excited to be watching dogs again! I also watch entire farms, and many different types of animals.. just ask. Until I get a steady amount of pups per month, I do work outside the home M-F. My home is a TinyHome (12x40 shed conversion) =480 sq ft of play space, and a big yard (now fenced!) and a local park nearby. I've been pet sitting since I was 10. I LOVE dogs! I can administer medication both oral and with a shot under the skin. I ask that the dogs that I sit to be house/potty trained, unless it's a puppy younger than 6 months, and we've chatted about the pups needs. They also need to be able to put a leash on them, without any agression. Snappy or biting dogs aren't a good fit for me or my own dogs. >> I want your pet to be as relaxed and happy as I can make them. I will take any age, and any size dog :) "Exercise is the key to well behaved dogs..a tired puppy is a well behaved puppy" and I can't wait to meet you and your pups! Check out my reviews please! I work away from home currently, but with enough pups visiting, I will transition back to being home full time! When I'm home I incorporate your furbaby into me and my pup's life completely, as if they are one of the family, for the entirety of his/ her stay with me. 🥰🐾

About: I’ve own 3 cats in the past, Lana, Goochy and currently Milly. 2 of them were family cats but Milly is my own. I’ve adopted Milly from my sister because she liked me more. I’ve also personally saved my cat Milly’s life about 3 times. True story.

About: I volunteered at CARE which is a no kill pet shelter for cats and dogs in 2014 and recently started volunteering at this place again, February 2018. My duties included feeding and making sure the animals had enough water. Cleaned out kennels and cages and would take the dogs outside and walk them. I have had dogs and cats since I was born and currently had a dog who loved being around other cats and dogs. She loved to play with animals as well and loved children. Her name was Daisy she is in my profile pic with me. Daisy was euthanized on September 1st, 2023. I now have another dog whose name is Emma. She’s a year old and as long as it’s ok with a client I bring her to pet sitting jobs. She loves other animals including cats and loves to play. She’s lovable and affectionate and loves attention. I also have a cat and her name is Maizy. She is four years old and I got her when she was almost 4 weeks old. I would take Daisy for walks and if I could take her with me to other places I did. One of the places I took her was to the pet store. I no longer wear a mask unless I have to. If you prefer for me to wear one please let me know and I will wear one. I use to work at a job which required me to work a 10 hour shift. I am now working at a full time job which has 8 hour shifts. I can work around my schedule if needed. My supervisor does work with me on switching my days around if needed. I can’t keep your pet in my apartment due to rules and restrictions but I can come to your home. I will provide my own food and necessities.
About: I have taken care of my own pets and friends, and neighbors for the past years since i was at least 13. I love animals and every kind! This is basically my job right now as a stay at home momma so i’m always here or always available to your pet for whatever they need! I have a front yard that is not fenced. I have 2 doggos and a one year old, we are a very pet friendly home :) My dogs are good with other dogs as well and my daughter loves dogs!! Me and my husband have a pretty good schedule so someone is usually always here with our pets.
About: I've taken care of cats, dogs, and birds since I was a teenager. I love them all and will go the extra mile to care for them. I will walk them, play with them, bathe them, and feed them. I'm available 7 days a week, but will only care for one families pets at a time, so first come first served. I take last minute same day requests. I will watch your pets in my home or yours. I don't have any of my own pets right now so yours will get all of my attention and care.

About: I’m a dedicated cat lover with three kitties of my own, so I truly understand all the little quirks that make each cat unique, from playful zoomies to quiet, independent vibes. I have hands on experience with medication administration, post-surgical care, and even bottle feeding kittens, which has taught me a lot of patience, gentleness, and attention to detail. I’m comfortable keeping litter boxes fresh and creating a clean, cozy, low-stress environment your cat will feel safe in. I’ve also leash-walked cats for some safe outdoor exploring, so I’m open to working with both curious adventurers and homebody snugglers. I pay so much attention to each cat’s personality; I’ll match their energy, whether that means playtime, cuddles, or simply giving them their space while still making sure they feel cared for and loved.
About: I have had dogs and a couple cats, I would say that I am fairly knowledgeable about typical animal behavior. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Owned horses and have been around an assortment of other animals throughout my life. Currently work full-time but I am about to not be working full time and would like to do dog walking/hiking and such full-time. I will be available throughout the week at anytime of day. Hoping to allow dog sitting at some point in the future for clients as well. I have a fenced back yard and give them ample exercise. I have learned that biking is one of the best things for a dog, especially high energy dogs but also any dog really. They get lots of petting and one on one playing throughout the day as well.
“Byron is an absolute gem. He took phenomenal care of our newfie and goldendoodle. He was also extremely helpful with a number of unexpected “surprises” (not all dog related) that occurred while we were gone. Overall, Byron’s care, effort and communication was above and beyond our expectations. You’d be crazy not to book him.”

About: I’ve grown up with, and been taking care of dogs majority of my life. I know how important it is to make sure your dog is in good hands and would love to help you out! Could definitely do morning and evening care. I have some flexibility with work, so depending on your needs, we can definitely work something out in between that! I believe in maintaining structure (yes, even for dogs). They do better when they know what to expect too. I will do my best to learn your routine, their quirks, and make them as comfortable as possible and maintain your routine as I do with my own dog!

“First time ever leaving my fur babies with a stranger, and I am happy I chose the right person to do so. Courtney and her kids were incredibly helpful and took great care of my 10-year-old Boxer and 13-year-old Plott Hound. They made sure both dogs felt comfortable and at ease. Their home was clean and welcoming, and the kids and toys kept my dogs happy and entertained the whole time. Definitely would go back to Courtney if I am in town again!”

She was conveniently located on base and by the end of the week, my dogs were running up to her door for day care! I would definitely recommend!”

I also have extensive experience with senior dogs. I cared for my own from age 3 through 17, which gave me a deep understanding of advanced care needs such as medication administration, bathing, mobility support, doggy diaper care, and hand-feeding. I’m comfortable navigating the sensitivities that can come with new people and aging, including moments of discomfort or food related aggression, and always handle pets with a calm, patient approach. I currently care for two dogs and three cats, which keeps me very in tune with different temperaments, routines, and needs. What sets me apart is my ability to read animal behavior, adjust my care style accordingly, and provide steady, patient, and attentive care that helps pets feel safe and loved. My friends and family always call me for pet sitting needs due to my loving and bubbly personality and strong passion and dedication for animals. Pet care fits into my routine very naturally and I genuinely enjoy making time for it. At the moment, I have open availability 7 days a week, which allows me to be flexible and responsive for visits, walks, or other activities. I am currently in the process of interviewing for part-time positions, but I remain committed to prioritizing pet care and can easily accommodate visits before or after work shifts. I’m very flexible and happy to work around what’s best for each pet’s routine. I provide care in a calm, attentive, and safety-focused way that helps pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. When I’m in a client’s home, I always follow their routines closely so pets can stay in their familiar environment with minimal stress. I pay close attention to instructions for feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs, and I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are handled carefully at all times. I also take time to build trust with each pet at their own pace—whether that means a gentle introduction, giving them space if they’re shy, or engaging with play and affection once they’re comfortable. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while keeping owners fully informed and at ease throughout the visit. I also have two dogs of my own if your fur baby is ever needing a friend. 💛

About: My financee, Garrett, and I have cared for the wellbeing of several types of dogs since we were children. We live together, but it will primarily be me who is home with the dogs and if you need help in your home, it will always be me you will speak too. We have two fur babies together and would love to help you care for yours! I work 3 minutes from home and can usually return with in a few hours on days when I have to go to the office, which is fairly rare. I do work a 9-5, but I work hybrid remote. I have a fully privacy fenced in back yard. I let my own dogs out every 3-5 hours for the bathroom, as they are grown and do not need let out much, but I am able to accomodate any bathroom schedule necessary. I am able to keep a meds and feeding schedule as well as an exercise schedule easily with my job flexabilty. Our dogs sleep with us and eat twice a day. We keep a clean, happy home and love to let our dogs out back to run and play often! In the evenings, my fiancee and I can walk your dog or dogs with our own babies as we have multiple leashes with dual or multi-capacity.

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have spent most of my life caring for and training them. My experience includes breeds such as American Staffordshire Terriers, Cane Corsos, and Pit Bulls, as well as many other types of dogs. I also fostered 12 dogs through the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, working with a wide range of breeds including Mastiffs, Huskies, Heelers, and Terriers. Through fostering, I’ve helped dogs recovering from hip surgeries, heartworm treatment, and other medical needs, while also learning how to adapt to different personalities, energy levels, and care requirements. Over the years, this experience has strengthened my ability to help all dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved! I'm available to board during the weekdays a majority of the time and sometimes weekends depending on availability. I'd be with your pet all day unless a quick grocery run or other short side quest. I have a fenced yard of about 0.40 acres, providing plenty of space for dogs to run and burn energy. My neighbor also has dogs, allowing for possible socialization if appropriate. I also have an XL crate available if needed, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for any dog. Otherwise, they would be with me playing and relaxing, if requested I can also walk with them and take them to some parks!
