“This is the second time Tripp has stayed at Kelly’s! We are fortunate to know that he is in really good hands. They love on him like their own. It is so nice to know that they can handle it all and we don’t have to worry! He enjoys his time there and we can tell how at home he feels from the photos and videos!”

“Lisa and Mike were so nice and welcoming to our pup. I really appreciated the quick communication and several pictures and updates while we were gone. Our dog had a great time and I think was a bit sad to come home. 😊”

“My doggie had the BEST time! They texted, sent pictures, and kept me updated! They were so chill and just absolutely amazing! Seriously won’t leave my pup with anyone else!”

“Victoria was great! Barkley really enjoyed his visit. I think he thought he was on vacation! Victoria did a great job communicating while we were gone, was very responsive, and shared pics to keep us up to date.”

“Matt and Angel took amazing care of my pup when I was out of town for a week! They made him feel right at home with all the love, treats and walks! 100/10 recommended!!”

“This is my first time using Rover. My experience with Angie has been great!!! This is my first time leaving Milo with someone that neither of us knew. I'm quite impressed with how I was kept informed about how he was doing the entire time. Nothing beats knowing that I can leave my fur baby with someone who treats him well, and he warmed up to. Thanks guys!!!!!!!”

“Nicole is the BEST! Sent tons of pictures and gave multiple updates throughout our babies’ stay with her. Nicole was communicative & accommodating and we will be booking with her again!!”

“Like most pet owners I was super nervous to leave my dog with a virtual stranger, however Amanda is amazing! My pup doesn’t love being left behind but everytime I drop him off at Amanda’s it’s like he forgets I’m even there! She always has kept me updated while watching him and has been super flexible on pickup/ drop off times! She is the only pet sitter that I have been able to feel comfortable with leaving my dog with! I would recommend Amanda to all pet owners!”

“Erin did a great job taking care of my puppy for the weekend! When I went to drop Lottie off she brought her dog down so that they could meet on neutral territory, which was really nice and during the weekend she text me updates and pics every day. I liked that she only took one pet at a time in addition to hers, that made me feel much safer leaving my puppy there. I would definitely recommend and use her services again!”

“Stephanie very kindly accommodated a last minute change to my schedule and sent me numerous detailed and warm updates to let me know how Mooncake was doing. Mooncake had a fantastic time with Stephanie and her dogs and didn't want to leave at the end of his stay!”

“I really appreciated Jennifer's flexibility with pick up and drop off. Zorro loved his time there. He got to play with Jennifer's other dogs and because Jennifer has children he played with a child which Zorro absolutely loves since he doesn't interact with children much. She has a backyard which was a great plus!”

“We were so nervous to leave Emmett for the 1st time. We knew a regular kennel wasn’t a right fit . Laura and her family took Emmett in and loved him like their own pup. We loved the frequent pictures for updates. Playing in the fenced in back yard. Sleeping at Laura’s feet while she worked and walk outsides .Laura had great communication the whole week. I will definitely be using her again. Thanks Laura for making this a great experience for us and Emmett.”

About: I ran a prison dog rescue and training program. We rehabilitated dogs from puppy mills, rescue groups and shelters. We also did grooming services for the dogs. I'm retired. My schedule is wide open. I have time to devote to taking care of customers pets. I have always had a affinity for taking care of animals. I live in a Townhouse in a nice area with plenty of green space. I enjoy walking dogs who come to my house or walking them from their house.
“Dani and Skye were wonderful dog sitters for our beagle, Jenny. We left Jenny with them for a week and they took great care of her. Dani texted us pictures and kept us updated on how Jenny was doing while staying with them. Dani and Skye both love animals and Jenny enjoyed being around their own dog and cat. We would highly recommend these two for anyone looking for a nurturing environment for a pet. Thanks so much!!”

“Ashley is a great pet sitter. She watched our older cat and gave him his medicine every day and lots of lap time. She met with us in advance to discuss all the needs. Highly recommend!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was little. There was always at least one dog in my home at all times. I love dogs! Right now my schedule a little flexible for drop ins, walks and other dog needs. Boarding can also be considered. Prefer nothing after 8pm but will make exceptions. I currently take my dogs out in the yard on a leash and walks in the neighborhood. I'm open to whatever your dog may need.

About: I have grown up with Dogs and Cats. I have also pet/house sat for friends and family through middle school, high school and college. I have grown up with cats I’ve had/have 4 (Dizzy, Yoyo, Bast and now Tiffany!) My favorite activities with kitties are playing with the string toy, brushing, giving treats and snuggling while reading/watching Tv/doing Homework. I also like to keep the blinds open so the kittens can look out and watch the birds. Lastly of course I love watching them get the zooms! :) As far as Dogs, I’ve had/have 4 German shepherds (Apache, Zoom, Camo and Ranger), 1 husky (Cherokee) and 2 Australian Shepherds (Banjo and Max) My favorite activities with dogs are throwing the ball, running/walking, brushing/baths, snuggles and getting a snack never hurt! :) I have taken pride in self training my dog to be “good K-9 citizens” ex: No jumping, “Sit”, “Down”, “Waite”, “Leave it” and being good on the leash! You just have to figure out what the dog’s favorite reward is. It could be a toy, treat or positive pets/loving!

“My kitty cats were so well taken care of! I got updates every visit with at least 3 to 4 photos each time. I absolutely adore my babies and missed them a lot so that was such a nice thing to have everyday 💗 They took so well to her - even my reserved/shy guy Niko was super playful and friendly and they were definitely entertained when she came for visits! 5/5 🌟s ALL THE WAY!! Thank you for taking such good care of them, playing with them, feeding and cleaning the litter daily! Greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻🤗🫶🏻”

“Delanie went above and beyond for us. She took our booking last minute and took great care of our babies! She worked with us on several situations to make sure our pets were getting the best care.”

“Hailea did a great job with our kitties. One of our kitties loves attention and she was sure to offer it. The other was not as kind and Hailea respected his personal space. She sent photos of both kitties and shared their temperament during her visits. We don't go out of town often, but when we do, we will be requesting her again!”

“I am satisfied with Janae’s work. I left my cat for a week and the cat is still alive. Lol. She sent photos and answered messages quickly enough. The house was kept clean. I will work with her again. Very respectful, kind & responsible person.”

“Tanya was the best! This was my first time leaving my dog Murphy in quite some time, so just like any dog "parent", I was worried. After two days of being away on a seven-day trip, my worries were eased. Tanya communicated and wrote detailed rover cards each day and sent photos of Murphy which we really appreciated. On the days that had terrible thunderstorms, she spent extra time with him and gave Murphy lots of attention. Thank you so much!”

About: I give 100% of my energy to the dogs. I have experience working at a local vet clinic as an Veternarian Technican for dogs/cats/exotics at our clinic. I have lots of experience with socialization, administrating medication/vaccine, filling prescriptions, and caring for basic needs. I have been a dog owner all my life and have had just about every time of pet including rabbits, guinea pigs, and cats. I just also love dogs and find their loyalty and companionship to be contagious. I can never get enough love from dogs! Dogs are often times the best of friends and caring for them is the best feeling in the world. I’m currently working full time but have time to take care of your pet! I am devoted! I want to further my experience in the field. I take care of pets in the way the owners request me to, I want the pet to feel comfortable and like their own people treat them.

About: Cats have always been my favorite pet to own. Having one ever since I can remember. Cleaning litter boxes and any cat mess is part of my system. Owning two cats of my own. I can provide a couple of toys to bring, or play using your toys. Feeding and watering the cat. Any special requirement is never too big to keep the cat happy as can be. Even if the cat can be grumpy, I’m patient and won’t make the cat uncomfortable or more upset.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, always thought about being a vet but it never happened. I am in the medical field, I just help humans instead. I believe dogs are the most loyal animal you could have I your home. The love they give is unmatched, no judgment on us humans, they love us unconditionally. I’m currently not working due to the pandemic, I’m home all day taking care of my dog. I have time for your fur baby all day. I have a house with a fenced yard. I live in a great area as well. I have a fenced yard that’s a decent size. I let my dog out several times a day, sometimes we take car rides. I rarely use a kennel but if your pet is not house trained or can get destructive, I would recommend you bring a crate in the event I have to run to the store or something.

About: I think that life is about being happy and animals of all shapes and sizes make me happy! I have had multiple pets all of my life, from bearded dragons and snails to cats and dogs but now I have settled with my older toy rat terrier pup and my fat orange cat! I was able to achieve my pet first aid certification through the American Red Cross but it since expired (they are valid for one year) but I thought it was worth mentioning that I have been trained. I work in Columbia M-F but live in Holts Summit, MO. I am willing to work in Columbia, Jefferson City or Holts Summit. I’m working full time but can do check-ins/walks during my lunch break, before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends are much more flexible as I don’t work on Saturdays or Sundays. I am comfortable with crate training and of course fenced in yards are great! I have no issues with walking pups on a leash. I live in Holts Summit where we have a leash law so leash and a decent harness would be required for stays with me. I have a huge yard to walk them around in!

Perfect for high energy dogs - New Bloomfield
“This was our first time using Rover. I'm so glad we chose Samantha and Jesse to take care of Buddy Bear while we were at our son's Senior Day. They sent pictures and communicated when necessary. Scheduling and pick up and drop off were a breeze. I'd definitely recommend them if you are looking for someone in the Jefferson City area. Thanks Samantha and Jesse!”

“Fawn is fairly new to Ximena and her pack. I wanted to have a back up sitter for when we wanted to board Fawn. Fawn gets very excited when we pull up to Ximena's house. She knows the dog "pack" and is excited to be there. When I pick her up at the end of the day, she is ready to have a nap, as she has had a busy day walking and playing. Ximena takes very good care of her. I recommend Ximena for caring for your small dog. She and her pack are great!”

“Christine is the best dog sitter you could ever want for your pup. She is so kind and doesn’t mind if I drop Izzy off early. I feel my dog always has a great time and is safe with Christine.”

“Due to a medical emergency, I had only 12 hours to schedule a first time visit. Donna was very understanding and affordable. I wasn't impressed by the neighborhood-until I saw her spacious yard. My beagle played the day away and slept the whole evening. Would happily use again.”

About: I am a huge animal lover. We have 3 cats and a shepherd mix dog. I also have a 4 and a 6 year old, so any animals must be good with other animals, kids and able to be crated at night as our dog is also crated. I love and have taken care of many animals and enjoy all fur babies! I am a graduate student so I am home most of the day besides an hour or so for class so fur babies are well cared for and get plenty of attention. My husband also WFH so someone is typically always home. Our yard is unfenced so dogs will have to be leashed for potty time. My dog is crated at night and when we’re not home. Our cats free roam the house, so we just ask that your pet is friendly with cats.
“She took us at the last minute and our dogs came home very happy! She genuinely cared about our girls and you can tell her own dog is as happy as can be and loves to play. Definitely will be using her again!”

“Caleb accepted our last minute booking and was very accommodating. We had a really early drop off and a late pickup and they had no issue with that. Curry had a great time with their family. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs daycare services!”

About: My home is a dog lover's dream — two friendly dogs already live here and are always ready to make new friends. We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. Since I work from home full-time, I'm always present — whether that's taking a mid-morning break to play in the backyard, keeping an eye on the pack while I'm at my desk, or just being available if anyone needs a cuddle or a quick romp outside. My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day — morning energy bursts, afternoon lounging, outdoor time whenever the mood strikes. Guest dogs just fold right into that routine. There's always someone to play with, always a sunny spot to nap in, and always a human nearby. My home is set up to be as dog-friendly as possible. The backyard is fully fenced, so dogs have safe, free access to outdoor space all day long — no leash required for backyard time. Inside, they're treated like family: furniture is fair game, the bed is open, and there are plenty of indestructible toys to keep them entertained. With two resident dogs already in the mix, guest dogs are never bored or lonely. There's always a playmate available, and I'm always nearby since I work from home full-time. I keep a close eye on group dynamics to make sure everyone is comfortable and playing nicely. I aim to keep routines as close to what your dog is used to as possible — feeding schedules, rest time, outdoor play — so the transition feels easy and low-stress for them. My goal is simple: your dog goes home happy, tired, and already looking forward to their next visit.

“Shannon was very patient and accommodating while we tried to figure out if we would need her or not. And I'm confident our little Lily was in good hands with her. Had a very positive, easy experience...highly recommend Shannon!”

About: My family has had cats ever since I was 12, I also rescued a goldendoodle 8 years ago and he has been my best friend ever since. I love all types of animals, and have experience with rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, and hamsters as well. I have been pet sitting and dog walking as a vet student for over a year now. I am a veterinary student in my clinical rotation years. I live in a duplex, meaning I have my own house with no roommates. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. I can pet sit from your house if you have multiple pets and are gone for days or pet sit from my own place if you have just a cat or a smaller dog. I live in a duplex at the moment by myself without any pets, but I pet sit for friends a lot, driving over to their places to let the dogs out/walk them, feed the cats/dogs/fish and clean the litter boxes, make sure the water bowls are filled, etc.
About: Evan grew up on a farm and has been around a rotating cast of animals his whole life including dogs, cats, horses, and a llama. We can't wait to hang out with your pups! we love walks, playtime and cuddles. Evan is a writer who works from home, and Gabrielle is a yoga teacher who is in and out depending on the day. we are home a lot because our dog has separation anxiety! We have a small fenced in yard with gravel and lots of plants. we can go back there for pee breaks and playtime plus we are very close to humboldt park where we love to walk our dog. Our house is cozy and dog friendly. our dog Bruce loves to play and cuddle with other pups
“Jennifer and James were such a God-send when Spenser and I were getting married last week!! Our wedding venue allowed for our doggie to be present at the ceremony (she walked the aisle in a flower collar and pearl leash :)!) but not reception, and so we needed not only a dog sitter but one who would be willing to pick up our girl from the wedding venue! James was happy to do it, showed up right on time, and our Chewie happily went with! They sent us cute pics of our babygirl relaxing on their couch and playing in their backyard during the wedding reception. It really put us at ease. We've never had to turn to Rover for dog sitting, usually we have family do it (obviously not an option when the whole family and friend-crew is at the wedding), but now that we know how amazing James and Jennifer are, we are forever grateful and liable to ask for their help again! Thanks SO much!!”

About: I have been around dogs for 18 plus years. I have dog sat many different animals as well. I personally have 2 Golden Retrievers named Kali and Bentley. I have a 1/2 acre backyard that they swim, play fetch, and chase after a ball in! I have experience with training and working with dogs on their commands. I am currently in Nursing School. I am PRN at my current job however with being so busy with school I have just been putting my entire focus on home and school! My normal days are 8-12 everyday while I do sometimes have a late day of about 4pm at school(very rarely)! I am currently in school so I am pretty well only gone for about 5 ish hours a day and sometimes longer but that is very rarely and I would make sure to accumulate that schedule with you and your pet. I work on homework here and there through out the day and when I take breaks you will always find me and my two dogs outside playing fetch! I have a fenced in backyard with over 1/2 an acre to roam and play in. The inside of my home is over 3600 SF so I am easily able to separate animals if needed. About: I have been a Farm Caretaker for over 5 years. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, goats & chickens, and limited experience caring for horses. I am comfortable administering various medicines and trimming goat hooves. I have a 9yr old Aussy Shepherd Service Animal, who is my best friend and who I also trained myself. I take pride in understanding animal speak. They tell us what they need if we listen! Each morning, our pup Foster dashes out the back door 1st thing for morning sniffs, our kitty Pepper lingers behind. They quickly trade places so Pepper can sip her morning dewy water in peace, while Fosty woofs down his expected breakfast inside. And by this time, we hear a rattle at our bunny Rupert’s pen, as he tells us it’s obviously time for his favorite morning pellets! Another morning in the life:) Daily, I play fetch with my dog son in our spacious back yard. We also take walks in the neighborhood & the park nearby. Kitty gets outdoor time at her request each day. Bunny enjoys free-roaming the house each day. All of our animals co-exist in peace, & even playfulness:) I respect & adhere to systems you may have in place to keep peace & balance:)
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old. Ive spent my childhood and adulthood having them around to a point were life is not the same if they are not around. I am a responsible pet owner who puts the care of these innocent souls a priority 100% of the time. A dog doesnt have to wiggle its tail to fit into my space or schedule. Its more of a blend. Thats how love flows. I work remotely 2 days a week and 2 days at the office but my schedule is flexible. I treat any dog as if it my own. I see no differences. Their love is unconditional, and so its mine. During the time together, we are.

About: I promise that your dog will be safe, loved, comfortable and well cared for. I worked in a dog groomer shop in the past. I go the extra mile to ensure your pet is smiling! I'm retired. I love filling my day meeting new people and new pets. I love helping people and their pets be safe, secure, and comfortable. I take the utmost care in listening to my pet owners needs and concerns and ensure I follow their wishes in caring for their pets.

“This was our first stay with Jessica. Our dog had a great time at Jessica’s place! Jessica and family are really nice and were so good to Sasha—it’s the first time we’ve picked up Sasha from a trip and found her so relaxed and happy!”

“Haley was amazing with our pups over our weekend away. She sent picture updates often, and when we picked up our pups, we could tell they had been loved on the whole time. Haley’s own dogs were also very sweet with our girls, despite the big size difference. You can tell how much she and her husband love dogs! We will absolutely reach back out to Haley.”

“Haley is fantastic. Our dog, a 50 lb 8 month old standard poodle, was well taken care of. The setup at her house is great for large dogs and she clearly cares a lot about those in her care.”
