I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! Thank you for loving him like one of your family!”

During Argos stay, she took Argos for long walks and swim by a river and let the dogs roll over mud (as seen in the videos) She sent us videos of every step Argos took, from his interactions to other dogs, the good times they had, and even their bedtime. About: I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have a dog. I currently have a very loving Great Pyrenees. I lost my Cocker Spaniel last summer so I have room in my heart and home to help people out when they want to travel. I understand the delimma of owning a dog and getting away so rest assured, help is here! I have a beautiful hobby farm and your dog will enjoy sniffing around with my big girl, Bonnie! I am retired and have lots of hobbies that keep me home most of the time. Your dog won't ever be left alone for more than 2-3 hours at a given time. I am new to Rover but I have often cared for friends and family pets in my home. I am in a very rural area and my yard isn't fenced. But maybe, on a busy day, one car passes my house. I wouldn't let a dog unfamiliar with me or my home run lose, but rest assured, there is no where for them to go here. Your dog will be happy and well cared for in my home.

About: I have had pets my entire life, primarily cats as well as a few dogs. I currently have a dog and cat, so taking care of either is second nature. I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. These include homes with multiple dogs, multiple cats, a mix, and even a snake. Reptiles and rodents don't bother me! These experiences have also included long-term stay (1 week+) and animals with additional care needs (senior, diabetic with necessary insulin injections at meals). I am currently in vet tech school so I know what to look for to keep your pets safe! I also have experience volunteering in shelters with many animals of different temperaments.

I have a very large fenced in yard which will give your dog lots of space to run and play. I grew up living down the hill from my grandparents farm which included cows, pigs, chickens, lots of barn cats and dogs. I was the kid that was always finding hurt or stray animals and bringing them home to care for. I live in the country and all three of our cats are strays that that my husband and I took in. My first German Shepherd, Joe, and my small dog, Lulu, taught me early the importance of love, care, and respect for pets. I saw my parents prepare their food and give them attention, showing me that animals are part of the family and deserve compassion, understanding, and affection. From a young age, I learned that animals act according to their environment and training. I remember a neighbor’s dog jumping toward me once—he only defended himself. Experiences like this taught me patience, empathy, and how to read a pet’s signals to ensure they feel safe and loved. Throughout my life, I have cared for a variety of breeds and sizes. These experiences have deepened my understanding of different temperaments and needs. In my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced one-acre backyard where they can run freely, a doggy door for access in and out, full access to the house, and orthopedic beds for resting. I do not use kennels, allowing them to feel at home. The space is kept clean and fresh at all times, with water always available. I provide companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation so pets are happy and healthy while their owners are away. I love pampering animals and preparing healthy treats approved by their owners. I make homemade snacks, including collagen, chicken feet, and beef bones with vegetables, all 100% natural. After my German Shepherd Joe passed away due to a serious illness, I began preparing natural meals combined with dry food for Jack, my current Shepherd. About: Note: I love cats and offer cat sitting as well as dog sitting! I'm happy to stay at your house or visit your kitty while you're away. At this time, we can not board your cat at our home. Thank you! **We try our hardest to keep our calendar up to date so be sure to make sure we are available the week/day your pup needs a vacay** My wife and I both love dogs! We have one miniature Dachshund who is our spoiled little baby! We both work 5 min from home and have a very flexible schedule so we come home several times a day to check on our pup and walk her so your dog is sure to get LOTS of love and attention as well as plenty of outside play time. We do prefer to keep only medium and small dogs. This is for both your pup's safety and comfort as well as ours. We understand how difficult it is to leave your fur-baby but we want to make it a little easier on both you and your baby! From daily pictures sent directly to you assuring you that your dog is having a blast on their own vacay to video chats with your pet via Skype or FaceTime so your baby can hear your voice and you can see them running around and playing! We live in a town home in Regent Park and have a huge grassy common area behind our house for your pup to play in! We just installed a fence and some fresh sod in our backyard so your pup is sure to enjoy being outside with us on top of their walks! We also have several trails that we like to walk and would love for your dog to join us (if you are ok with it and your dog enjoys sunset walks :) My wife is home most days and I work only five minutes from the house so we are available all day day to spend quality time with your fur baby! I have a fenced in yard and lots of extra space for your pups crate/bed so they can be sure to feel right at home.

About: I've had pets in my family since I was a kid, and I have taken care of foster animals, family pets and friends pets throughout adulthood. I have taken care of pets who have medication needs and environment needs (scared of thunder and such.) I work for myself, so I am able to work around my work hours accordingly and easily to provide the care that is needed for my clients. My care is adaptive to each pet family's needs and home. I am an observant person and pay attention to the details while caring for pets. I cannot take on daycare or boarding services right now, but I am more than happy to take dogs for walks, care for cats, and pet sit while you're away.

About: My friends tell me that I am an animal whisperer haha! I love the company of an animal and giving it all of my love! I used to have a dog of my own, we were best friends, but unfortunately he passed away a few years ago. I’m not at the best spot in my life to have my own pet again so I wanted to find a way to still love on animals and have their presence! I currently have a full time job in St. Louis. I am available to WFH if I need to watch your pet(s) during the week!! More than happy to do so :) We have a very large yard/field behind my home but it is not fenced. I will be sure to have your puppy on a leash if need be!!! We also live in a neighborhood, off of the main road in town. I am also available to watch them in STL as I have family that live there!

About: I have been a veterinary assistant at Lake Pet Hospital for 2+ years. There, I assist veterinarians with many tasks including x-rays, toenail trims, filling prescriptions, and giving medications. I'm currently a full time college student, but that is my only commitment other than your pets! I am available most evenings but am also willing to make early mornings work!
