“Amanda was amazing! She did drop by visits for my 2 cats, one of which is very shy and the other is sometimes finicky with anyone who isn’t me. She was very patient with both of them and sent status updates and pictures which had the perfect amount of detail to let me know how they were doing while on vacation. She was also very responsive to messages and I never felt like I was waiting on her reply. She was well informed on taking care of animals and shows a great passion for animals as well! On top of that she went above and beyond what I needed her to do and also washed their water fountain and food bowls which I never even mentioned because I didn’t need her to do that! All in all, my cats are happy and healthy and she saved me from a couple extra chores I would’ve had to do upon returning home!”

In 2000 our family recused a puppy from a local rescue organization, she was the BEST dog and lived like a princess in our home. I understand senior care very well, as our beloved Schnoodle lived 19 years! I am currently working from home. About: My friends tell me that I am an animal whisperer haha! I love the company of an animal and giving it all of my love! I used to have a dog of my own, we were best friends, but unfortunately he passed away a few years ago. I’m not at the best spot in my life to have my own pet again so I wanted to find a way to still love on animals and have their presence! I currently have a full time job in St. Louis. I am available to WFH if I need to watch your pet(s) during the week!! More than happy to do so :) We have a very large yard/field behind my home but it is not fenced. About: I haven't had my own pets in a long time, but I've cared for over a dozen pets that I treated like my own despite belonging to others. I've introduced myself to and won over plenty of pets with my calm and collected approach. The majority of my pet care experience has been through visiting the homes of family friends to give their dogs bathroom breaks and be sure they have some company for a while as their owners are at work or on vacation. On multiple occasions, I've also stayed overnight for multiple days at a time. Because of this, I'm well equipped to meet your pets smoothly and cohabitate with them. About: I got my first dog when I was three and have always had 5+ animals in the house. I am good with any breed of dog. I have some puppy training experience and I can also work with disability animals. I just need to know if they have medication and the time to take them or other accommodations that they might need. I’m not sure if people have reptiles that need sitting but I’m good with those too. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with puppies or any other animals. I have always had a soft spot for animals so I love spending time with them. I have a dog who gets taken potty every couple of hours and is fed every morning and every night. I also have a cat and two leopard geckos. My cat and dog are usually upstairs so I can keep the other animals downstairs if they’re not pet friendly. My geckos stay in my room.

Starting in August I will be attending Maryville University as well. In my home, I only have one dog who honestly does get spoiled to death but he loves it that way. If I’m home all day I will take him out every 2-3 hours just to make sure he is all good and everything and if able will go with your dog as well unless less time is needed.

Being around dogs daily growing up has helped me understand their different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I’m also a very active person, which makes dog walking something I truly enjoy. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, a longer energy-burning outing, or just some companionship while you’re away, I’m happy to provide it. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time, so I can give your dog the attention and care they deserve. My goal is always to make sure every dog feels comfortable, exercised, and loved while in my care. I treat every dog like they’re my own and want both you and your pet to feel confident and at ease. I’m currently a student at a local university, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I typically have classes from 10 AM to 1 PM on most weekdays, but outside of that time I have plenty of availability for dog walks, drop-ins, or pet care. I’m usually free in the mornings before class, afternoons after 1 PM, and evenings. Because I have a lighter schedule outside of class, I’m able to dedicate time and attention to the pets I care for. I’m happy to work with owners to find times that best fit their dog’s routine and needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, playtime, and any specific care your pet may need. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection during visits. Whether that means going for a walk, playing with their favorite toys, or simply keeping them company, I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s personality and energy level. I also understand how important communication is for pet owners, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and doing well. I will always treat your home and your pets with respect and care.
About: I have had past experience working at a Vet clinic where I have walked, given medication to, and interacted with multiple dog breeds of all different ages and needs. I have also taken care of a variety of animals for family members and friends for over 5 years. In addition, I have had many household pets of my own since I was 5 years old that I have cared and loved for. About: I personally have worked with bunnies, snakes, lizards, frogs, hamsters, Guinea pigs, cats, and dogs as a pet sitter as well as in a clinical setting! I’m definitely an animal person! I am happy to walk, feed, bathe, give love, and overall care for any members of your pet family! I recently elected to leave my full time position as a Veterinary Technician to be more available for family, so I have all the knowledge of a vet tech with full availability to take care of your fur babies! I can and will strictly follow your guides for care, diet plan, and exercise schedule to keep your pets routine as normal as possible in your absence. I will always be just a phone call or text message away if you have any questions, or just want to check in! I’m able and willing to send updates your way during my time with your pets to provide peace of mind, as well as to establish trust. I have a vehicle, and am able to take your pets to and from a veterinary clinic in case of emergency.
About: I have grown up with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ve dog sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I’ve helped train my family’s dogs in the past so if there are any reinforcements or cues necessary on walks I’m more than capable of helping to keep a routine! I’m currently full time graduate student, but I have some free afternoons with plenty of time to walk your pets! I am also flexible to do drop ins for potty breaks and evening feedings. About: I’ve grown up around big and small dogs all my life. I have also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors and love to take my German shepherd on runs. I live at home right now and am taking one class online and work-part time so I will have lots of time to play with your pets and snuggle them. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15. I started just walking dogs, and then progressed to watching family/friends dogs while they were on weekend trips/ vacations once I was able to drive. On top of watching other peoples animals, I’ve always had animals of my own, so I’ve been around Dogs/Cats my whole life. I am due in November, and I won’t be working once I have my baby. My schedule is completely open and my Dog is looking for a friend to have a sleepover 🩵 I have 3 acres and lots of room for dogs to run around and play! My dog gets along with any kind of dog, so your fur baby will have a friend the whole time! If you would like your dog crated, I can do that as well.
