Our very spoiled Westie with attachment issues is used to being home with us 99% of the day and we know he will have anxiety when we leave him. After losing our former long term sitter, we had to find a new one and I am SO GRATEFUL we found Selena. She wanted to make sure his routine was as close to home as possible, that he was as comfortable as possible. She checked in with pictures and videos often (probably more for my benefit than Hamilton’s) because he seemed so happy. If she questioned anything along the way, she didn’t hesitate to reach out. She gave him so much love and just let him be his codependent self and be her little lemming all weekend. He got lots of social time with other pups and made new friends along the way. 🐾”

Meaning I am with the animals 24/7. I ride and train horses professionally and run a rodeo arena. I live on property and have the perfect set up to care for your furry friends. I have 4 friendly dogs on property, and the set up to crate several dogs if necessary. The arena is set on 30 acres of pasture land. So they can sniff and explore to their hearts content, including running in the fenced arenas, as well as miles of walkable roads surrounding us. We are off a state highway so safety is my biggest priority.

From Geckos to Hermits, Fish to Frogs, and Cats to Dogs, I've housed a variety and have loved them all to the core! I am particularly familiar with Medium sized dogs, but I am no stranger to the big, the bad, or the snugly. For cats, I can be a bit squeamish when it comes to litter, but that is nothing a mask or a nose clip won't fix! As a full time college student, online classes allow my schedule to be very flexible. My grades are important, but nothing motivates me more than a happy pet and a satisfied customer! About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

They all just loved Lenny and were so understanding and patient with him. He's prone to hiding in new places, she was able to get him out safely. She helped me with some tips and told me about an awesome product for worms and other pests that works, I was and still am so grateful. She is quick to respond, has a very calm and sweet personality. “I am forever grateful and so thankful for Kaitlin. We were getting married and taking our honeymoon so I needed someone to keep our 3 pups during the process. This was our first time needing to use Rover and I am so happy we found Kaitlin. I was nervous about one dog in particular just because it was really her first time ever apart from me and Kaitlin walked me through the whole process, took the extra steps I needed to be comfortable leaving her and went out of her way to make sure I had daily updates the whole week they were with her. “Mikala was amazing and anytime I need an overnight sitter she is the first person I will call on. My Gypsy was so taken care of over the thanksgiving holiday. I received regular pictures and updates with a smiling puppy with her new friends. A special thanks to Mikala and her husband for helping me with our puppy drop off as I was hospitalized a few hours after our meet and greet and wasn’t able to meet personally. That meant so much to me that these sweet people went out of their way to help me. I would absolutely recommend Mikala for any service with Rover. About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of dogs, cats, and horses from a young age. I also have experience in dog grooming, ranging from small to large dogs. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I am flexible as I work from home. I normally check pets at least two times a day, but more check in times are available upon request. I have a friendly dog who loves to play and make new friends. He will be very helpful in helping young dogs learn how to socialize.

About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. I have a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I have a couple big trees for shade while pets are playing outdoors and a covered back porch for relaxing.

About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.
