“I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. About: I ran a prison dog rescue and training program. We rehabilitated dogs from puppy mills, rescue groups and shelters. We also did grooming services for the dogs. I'm retired. About: I have grown up with Dogs and Cats. I have also pet/house sat for friends and family through middle school, high school and college. I have grown up with cats I’ve had/have 4 (Dizzy, Yoyo, Bast and now Tiffany!) My favorite activities with kitties are playing with the string toy, brushing, giving treats and snuggling while reading/watching Tv/doing Homework. I also like to keep the blinds open so the kittens can look out and watch the birds. Lastly of course I love watching them get the zooms! :) As far as Dogs, I’ve had/have 4 German shepherds (Apache, Zoom, Camo and Ranger), 1 husky (Cherokee) and 2 Australian Shepherds (Banjo and Max) My favorite activities with dogs are throwing the ball, running/walking, brushing/baths, snuggles and getting a snack never hurt! :) I have taken pride in self training my dog to be “good K-9 citizens” ex: No jumping, “Sit”, “Down”, “Waite”, “Leave it” and being good on the leash! You just have to figure out what the dog’s favorite reward is. It could be a toy, treat or positive pets/loving!

About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child. I am currently in college to become a certified veterinary technician. “Fawn absolutely LOVES going to Christine's. Her dog, Daisy and Fawn are good buddies. A big plus s that Christine plays with Fawn. Fawn loves balls and Christine mixes up the variety of balls. I swear, when Fawn goes inn Christine's house and finds all the toys she has set up for the day's play, Fawn turns back and looks at me with the biggest, wide eyes and SMILE, I have ever seen on a dog. I recommend Christine if you are looking for a great care giver for your little dog.”

Kallie took her time to sniff everything in the house and yard but Catlyn’s easy attitude let Kallie feel comfortable exploring. Her dogs were sweet and Catlyn takes care to be sure all the dogs are getting along or if she needs to separate them. Her yard and home are lovely and she is too. James was happy to do it, showed up right on time, and our Chewie happily went with! “I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! Thank you for loving him like one of your family!”
“This was my lab, Josie's, first stay with Megan A., and she had a blast! From the moment she and I entered the house, Megan made us feel welcome. She is a serious, knowledgeable dog person, and the love, the helpful information, and care she shared made a huge difference. In the past, I have felt a tad guilty about having to board Josie...but now, seeing how she fit so well with Megan's "squad," well, I'm gonna feel guilty if I don't take her there. Our family recently relocated to the Lake area as full timers after 30 years of being weekenders, so having great resources now that we are living here is so important. If you are in the Lake area and want your pup to have a great stay, give Megan a try, you won't be disappointed.”

About: I have grown up around and loved pets since I was 7 years old! Many parts of my childhood I grew up with 5 dogs, but we just recently got our first cat. My partner is also an animal lover and grew up with multiple pets his entire life (his mom is a veterinarian!). We now have a 6 month old dachshund, Clover, and a cat, Stella Dallas! We are students so we have really relaxed schedules, and spend a lot of our time working from home. We live in a house that has a large privacy fence with a perfect sized backyard. We joined Rover to share our love with your animals! 🥰🐾 My partner and I are both students and I work a remote job. We spend a lot of our time not in class at home with our animals! I have a fenced in yard with a privacy fence. My dog Clover will keep your dog company as she loves to play with all of her cousins! Clover is crate trained so I have experience with that, but I don’t mind if your dog is not! I spend a lot of my time at home so your pup or cat will always be getting attention and the love they deserve while you’re away! :)

She made sure my cats felt comfortable to be in a new environment and loved. I received frequent updates with pictures of my boys and made me feel at ease for boarding my boys.”
