About: I have loved dogs since I was a child. As a pre-teen, I used to go to my neighbors' homes to take their dogs for walks. Then, in 1993, my parents finally gave me my first dog—a black English Cocker Spaniel. I haven't been without dogs since. The first one was stolen when he was a year old. The second, another black Cocker, lived for 14 years. During that time, I also had a Yorkshire Terrier who lived to be 17. Currently, I have a 12-year-old female Papillon who came with me from Brazil a little over two years ago. I am Brazilian and qualified as a veterinarian in 2003. I spent six years working in a clinic treating dogs before switching to a different area of veterinary practice for personal reasons. Since moving to the US, I have been a full-time mom, as my youngest daughter is not yet school-age. I believe a meet-and-greet is beneficial for both parties; it’s a time for pets and their owners to get to know me better, and for me to get to know the pet (I like to fill out a form during this time to record details about them). I understand that just like us, dogs need regular walks to stay happy, healthy and mentally stimulated. If life gets busy and you're unable to take your pup out as often as you'd like, I'd be happy to help. I also offer loving in-home care for pets who prefer to stay cozy and comfortable in their own home while you're away. Services offered: dog walker, boarding, drop-in visits and doggy day care. I have been watching and taking care of animals ever since I was younger so I’ve dealt with all types of animals, whether they were special needs or just needed a little more attention. About: I have taken care of dogs for my entire life, we always had at least one in our care as I was growing up. When I was 13 I got my first puppy, I potty trained him, leash trained him and trained him on the basics with a few tricks. When I turned 19 I became an Animal Caretaker for a dog daycare and boarding facility and loved it! I cared for up to 20 dogs at a time, observing dog behavior for any signs of aggression, anxiety distress or medical needs. I provided personalized care for dogs who needed it including giving shots, giving pills, staying up to date on their dietary guidelines and any restrictions they required, as well as any behavioral issues to look out for. I also maintained a clean environment for the safety of the dogs and staff. While I am not a certified dog trainer, I do know approved methods of correction and redirection for dogs. I will not correct your dog's behavior unless specifically asked, and we can talk about what is best for you and your pet! I have worked with dogs of all ages from a few months old to senior dogs as well as dogs of all sizes from teacup chihuahuas to great danes! I know leaving your pet in someone else's care is scary, which is why I emphasize that your and your furball's wellbeing are my number one priority! My schedule is currently unpredictable so this will be updated weekly. About: I grew up with three dogs and trained them to do the basics. I love animals of all sizes, not just dogs. I don’t have much experience with other animals but would love to learn and be as much help as possible! I currently work a full time job however my hours have been cut to part time hours so my availability is pretty open. Unfortunately my job is not a set 9-5 Mon. through Fri. There is a mid sized dog park at my apartment complex however I cannot bring my animal inside my apartment. I can definitely travel to your home and take care of your animal is one long stay or visits. And I also love taking dogs on walks so that is no problem as well.

About: I’ve also had guinea pigs and rabbits and birds and goats. I love all animals and am happy to care for them no matter what shape or size. They all deserve love and attention and as long as I have solid instructions then I got it covered and they’ll feel like they’re my own babies. I’m currently unemployed. I’m getting certified to sell insurance and am home. I have two children in pre school and elementary school and the extra money would help a lot in this transitional period. About: I worked at Summit Pet Care for four years. I worked in the daycare, front desk, and kennels department. I have made valuable relationships with several clients. For those clients I have pet sat for them while they have been out of town. I have also walked many of their pups during a busy for them. I work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and the rest of the week make time to exercise my own dog. Along with getting online classes done for UCM.. I care for my pets by always getting them with a clam but happy energy. First thing I always do with any pup is take them outside making sure there are no accidents in the home. If I am just meeting the pup I always allow them time to get used to me and make sure I am a loving person.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a child. As a pre-teen, I used to go to my neighbors' homes to take their dogs for walks. Then, in 1993, my parents finally gave me my first dog—a black English Cocker Spaniel. I haven't been without dogs since. The first one was stolen when he was a year old. The second, another black Cocker, lived for 14 years. During that time, I also had a Yorkshire Terrier who lived to be 17. Currently, I have a 12-year-old female Papillon who came with me from Brazil a little over two years ago. I am Brazilian and qualified as a veterinarian in 2003. I spent six years working in a clinic treating dogs before switching to a different area of veterinary practice for personal reasons. Since moving to the US, I have been a full-time mom, as my youngest daughter is not yet school-age. I believe a meet-and-greet is beneficial for both parties; it’s a time for pets and their owners to get to know me better, and for me to get to know the pet (I like to fill out a form during this time to record details about them). I understand that just like us, dogs need regular walks to stay happy, healthy and mentally stimulated. If life gets busy and you're unable to take your pup out as often as you'd like, I'd be happy to help. I also offer loving in-home care for pets who prefer to stay cozy and comfortable in their own home while you're away. Services offered: dog walker, boarding, drop-in visits and doggy day care. I offer other pet services upon request. I am currently a full-time mother and homemaker, so I do not have a job that keeps me away from home for long stretches at a time. I have a friendly 12-year-old female dog, but she doesn't know how to play with other dogs; she’s a companion for quiet moments rather than playtime. I have three children—aged 4, 6, and 9—who adore dogs and love playing with them. I live in a house without a fenced yard. The raised deck has a gate and is a spot where my dog likes to hang out and watch the activity. I’ve installed a 34-inch removable fence in a small area where a dog can be left without constant supervision (provided they aren't a climber or a jumper).
