About: I have grown up around and loved pets since I was 7 years old! Many parts of my childhood I grew up with 5 dogs, but we just recently got our first cat. My partner is also an animal lover and grew up with multiple pets his entire life (his mom is a veterinarian!). We now have a 6 month old dachshund, Clover, and a cat, Stella Dallas! About: I have worked as a Kennel Attendant at a dog boarding and grooming place. I have also taken care of my personal dog for 12 years and have had her since I was a little girl. I am currently working part time-4 days a week- but I still have open hours and can be flexible. I unfortunately cannot do overnights but I can do drop ins and walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and I have 3 very comfortable and gentle dogs at home. They are good with other nonaggressive dogs.

About: My home is a dog lover's dream — two friendly dogs already live here and are always ready to make new friends. We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. Since I work from home full-time, I'm always present — whether that's taking a mid-morning break to play in the backyard, keeping an eye on the pack while I'm at my desk, or just being available if anyone needs a cuddle or a quick romp outside. My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day — morning energy bursts, afternoon lounging, outdoor time whenever the mood strikes. Guest dogs just fold right into that routine. About: I have 11 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, and I provide a cozy, home-style stay where pets are welcome on the bed, couch, and furniture. Pets are not confined in our home, and we have crates and baby gates available if separation or quiet time is needed. With owner approval, I can also offer a fresh dinner add-on, such as cooked chicken, beef, or other pet-safe ingredients, to make their stay feel extra special. I’m currently a Ph.D. student with a flexible schedule. I usually go to the lab around 9 AM and come home around 3–4 PM, and my husband works from home, so pets are rarely left alone for long. Dogs are typically let out for potty breaks about every 3-4 hours. Our usual feeding schedule is breakfast around 8:30 AM and dinner around 9:00 PM. Around 6 PM, with owner approval, I may offer a small fresh-food treat so they can feel included during dinner. Depending on the weather and how many dogs are staying with us, we also offer walks and occasional trips to Twin Lakes Dog Park for extra exercise and fun. Our “New Fenced Yard” has been done! All the dogs have more space for chasing. I care for every pet based on their owner’s instructions, comfort level, and daily needs. In our home, pets are welcome on the couch, bed, and furniture, and we treat them like part of the family. For safety, we supervise all outdoor time, and dogs are always kept on a leash if outside the fence. Our fenced yard has been finished, so they can play in the backyard as long as they want. If a pet needs quiet time, separation, or their own space, we have crates and baby gates available to create separate areas. We are also in the process of adding a fenced yard and are currently waiting for materials to arrive. We expect it to be ready around August. My goal is to help every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they stay with us.
About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.

Being in Sedalia for a year now, we have also found some very nice enclosed doggy parks that we’ve come to love as well as other great places that no dogs can resist! With in house care, I am home almost 100% of the time so whether we are at my house or yours, time will be spent!
