About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable with basic puppy routines, reinforcing good habits, and providing calm, gentle care for anxious or older pets. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout each stay or visit. 🏡 Boarding your pet: I do have two friendly and playful dogs of my own — a Great Dane and a Goldendoodle — along with 3 cats that mostly keep to themselves. Because of this, I always like to make sure personalities and temperaments are a good fit for everyone’s safety and comfort. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet feels at home. 🐾 Pet sitting and drop-in visits in your home: I know many pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. About: I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have a dog. I currently have a very loving Great Pyrenees. I lost my Cocker Spaniel last summer so I have room in my heart and home to help people out when they want to travel. I understand the delimma of owning a dog and getting away so rest assured, help is here! I have a beautiful hobby farm and your dog will enjoy sniffing around with my big girl, Bonnie! I am retired and have lots of hobbies that keep me home most of the time. Your dog won't ever be left alone for more than 2-3 hours at a given time. I am new to Rover but I have often cared for friends and family pets in my home. I am in a very rural area and my yard isn't fenced. But maybe, on a busy day, one car passes my house. I wouldn't let a dog unfamiliar with me or my home run lose, but rest assured, there is no where for them to go here. Your dog will be happy and well cared for in my home.

I do work a 730-430 job but I always have time in the mornings and I have a hour lunch and then when I’m off I can do whatever the pup/ cat needs! Like I said above I groom dogs already on the weekends so people see and trust me with their pets daily! I have had dog and pets my whole life

I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. My first German Shepherd, Joe, and my small dog, Lulu, taught me early the importance of love, care, and respect for pets. From a young age, I learned that animals act according to their environment and training. I remember a neighbor’s dog jumping toward me once—he only defended himself. These experiences have deepened my understanding of different temperaments and needs. In my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced one-acre backyard where they can run freely, a doggy door for access in and out, full access to the house, and orthopedic beds for resting. I do not use kennels, allowing them to feel at home. The space is kept clean and fresh at all times, with water always available. I provide companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation so pets are happy and healthy while their owners are away. I love pampering animals and preparing healthy treats approved by their owners. I make homemade snacks, including collagen, chicken feet, and beef bones with vegetables, all 100% natural. After my German Shepherd Joe passed away due to a serious illness, I began preparing natural meals combined with dry food for Jack, my current Shepherd. We live in a town home in Regent Park and have a huge grassy common area behind our house for your pup to play in! We just installed a fence and some fresh sod in our backyard so your pup is sure to enjoy being outside with us on top of their walks! We also have several trails that we like to walk and would love for your dog to join us (if you are ok with it and your dog enjoys sunset walks :) My wife is home most days and I work only five minutes from the house so we are available all day day to spend quality time with your fur baby! About: I have had pets my entire life and leaving them for longer than I'm used to is so hard. I've been with dogs that are hours old and I've been with dogs in their final moments. I do work 8.5 hour shifts 3-4 days a week. So while I couldnt care for them while I am at work before/after and and on my days off I am more than available. I require a meet and greet for new clients just so I know where all of thier stuff is and so the pets meet me with thier owners for the first time and it is less stressful. I can crate animals take them for walks, take them out in the backyard. Anything to burn energy before being left home alone again.
