Our flights were delayed by over 12 hours she was very flexible and allowed him to stay an extra day with no problem. About: I ran a prison dog rescue and training program. We rehabilitated dogs from puppy mills, rescue groups and shelters. We also did grooming services for the dogs. I'm retired. My schedule is wide open. I have time to devote to taking care of customers pets. I have always had a affinity for taking care of animals. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, puppies, and senior dogs since I was 5! We are a dog loving family looking forward to loving on new friends! I am currently a stay at home mom with great flexibility and I have 4 kids from 10-17 who also loving caring for dogs and animals. We have an invisible fenced yard, lots of paths for walking, lots of extra toys, plenty of treats, and a large yard for them to play with our senior pup.

“I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! About: I have grown up around and loved pets since I was 7 years old! Many parts of my childhood I grew up with 5 dogs, but we just recently got our first cat. My partner is also an animal lover and grew up with multiple pets his entire life (his mom is a veterinarian!). We now have a 6 month old dachshund, Clover, and a cat, Stella Dallas! We are students so we have really relaxed schedules, and spend a lot of our time working from home. We live in a house that has a large privacy fence with a perfect sized backyard. About: I have grown up with Dogs and Cats. I have also pet/house sat for friends and family through middle school, high school and college. I have grown up with cats I’ve had/have 4 (Dizzy, Yoyo, Bast and now Tiffany!) My favorite activities with kitties are playing with the string toy, brushing, giving treats and snuggling while reading/watching Tv/doing Homework. I also like to keep the blinds open so the kittens can look out and watch the birds. Lastly of course I love watching them get the zooms! :) As far as Dogs, I’ve had/have 4 German shepherds (Apache, Zoom, Camo and Ranger), 1 husky (Cherokee) and 2 Australian Shepherds (Banjo and Max) My favorite activities with dogs are throwing the ball, running/walking, brushing/baths, snuggles and getting a snack never hurt! :) I have taken pride in self training my dog to be “good K-9 citizens” ex: No jumping, “Sit”, “Down”, “Waite”, “Leave it” and being good on the leash! You just have to figure out what the dog’s favorite reward is. It could be a toy, treat or positive pets/loving!

We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. Since I work from home full-time, I'm always present — whether that's taking a mid-morning break to play in the backyard, keeping an eye on the pack while I'm at my desk, or just being available if anyone needs a cuddle or a quick romp outside. My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day — morning energy bursts, afternoon lounging, outdoor time whenever the mood strikes. Guest dogs just fold right into that routine. “Fawn is fairly new to Ximena and her pack. I wanted to have a back up sitter for when we wanted to board Fawn. Fawn gets very excited when we pull up to Ximena's house. She knows the dog "pack" and is excited to be there. When I pick her up at the end of the day, she is ready to have a nap, as she has had a busy day walking and playing. Ximena takes very good care of her. I recommend Ximena for caring for your small dog. She and her pack are great!”
“Catlyn was fantastic. My sometimes nervous dog seemed comfortable because of how Catlyn eased her into the new environment. Kallie took her time to sniff everything in the house and yard but Catlyn’s easy attitude let Kallie feel comfortable exploring. Her dogs were sweet and Catlyn takes care to be sure all the dogs are getting along or if she needs to separate them. Her yard and home are lovely and she is too. I would recommend Catlyn as a great choice.”

About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.

“Christine, and her dog Daisy, make Fawn's day each Tuesday. Fawn loves going there and absolutely goes bonkers when we pull up to their house. But today, Christine went above and beyond for me. My car told me I had a low tire. And it was really low. I told her my husband would be there to air it up. She jumped in and got an air compressor from her garage and aired my tire. I was able to get home safely and my husband did not have to drive in to do that for me. I highly recommend Christine if you are looking for play dates for your pup. And Daisy loves having friends over.”

“Jennifer and James were such a God-send when Spenser and I were getting married last week!! Our wedding venue allowed for our doggie to be present at the ceremony (she walked the aisle in a flower collar and pearl leash :)!) but not reception, and so we needed not only a dog sitter but one who would be willing to pick up our girl from the wedding venue! James was happy to do it, showed up right on time, and our Chewie happily went with! They sent us cute pics of our babygirl relaxing on their couch and playing in their backyard during the wedding reception. It really put us at ease. We've never had to turn to Rover for dog sitting, usually we have family do it (obviously not an option when the whole family and friend-crew is at the wedding), but now that we know how amazing James and Jennifer are, we are forever grateful and liable to ask for their help again! About: My family has had cats ever since I was 12, I also rescued a goldendoodle 8 years ago and he has been my best friend ever since. I love all types of animals, and have experience with rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, and hamsters as well. I have been pet sitting and dog walking as a vet student for over a year now. I am a veterinary student in my clinical rotation years. I live in a duplex, meaning I have my own house with no roommates. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. I can pet sit from your house if you have multiple pets and are gone for days or pet sit from my own place if you have just a cat or a smaller dog. I live in a duplex at the moment by myself without any pets, but I pet sit for friends a lot, driving over to their places to let the dogs out/walk them, feed the cats/dogs/fish and clean the litter boxes, make sure the water bowls are filled, etc.
