About: I grew up in a house full of animals, so loving and caring for pets is second nature to me! Our household currently includes two cats (Walter and Wanda). When your pet stays with us, they become part of the family—expect plenty of belly rubs, playtime, and pampered care! About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of every age of dog. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian my entire childhood. I was even going to try and start the process, but then life happened and my plans had to change. My plans took me to being a stay at home mom to 3 kids who also love animals. While I am no professional, I love trying to help my dogs learn new tricks or commands. Once again not a professional, but I do all of my dogs grooming needs myself. I have clippers and a grinder for nails and all kinds of brushes. For the babies not afraid of vacuums I also have a pet grooming vacuum. I can brush bathe and clip dogs nails at the owners request. If you bring your own shampoo the bath will be at no cost to you. If you dont have any it will just be a small fee for me to use some that I have. I am able to give medications if need be. I can also follow special diet routines if necessary as long as you bring the supplies that are needed. I am a stay at home mom for our 3 kids so when your fur baby is in my care they will hardly ever have to be kenneled. Potty breaks can be as often as needed based on what they are used to at their actual home. Daily walks can be taken(depending on the weather). I would be delighted to care for your dog while you’re away! My home is shared with my husband, our three children, and two friendly dogs who love to play in our fenced yard. I also offer daily walks to keep your pup active and happy. I normally follow a two-meal schedule with my own dogs, but I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine. Since we also have a cat, it’s important that visiting dogs are comfortable around cats. My goal is to make your dog feel as happy and comfortable as possible while you’re gone. If there are any special routines or comforts that help your pup feel at ease, I’ll gladly accommodate them when I can. For higher-energy dogs, I even have experience biking with pups who enjoy an active workout.

“Leanne was so great! We had a Nashville trip planned and our sitter fell through just a week prior to leaving, but Leanne accepted without hesitation! Communicated daily and gave me all the updates, which calmed this dog moms nerves. With being new to the area, I was nervous on who to send Kodak to during trips but I will most definitely be using Leanne again! Highly recommend.”

She took care of my dog for 2 1/2 weeks, sent a photo & comment every day about how Bessie was doing, and it was obvious she is passionate about animals! Because of her experience working for a vet I felt very comfortable that she was giving Bess her medicine, and since Bess is an older dog, she and her family gave her lots of cuddles and care. I won’t hesitate to ask her to dog sit again! Bessie also formed a friendship with one of their family’s dogs. She was very happy there!!”
