I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. About: I am a pet lover and know how important it is for owners who can't take their furry friends along to have a place they feel safe and comfortable with. I have been watching animals of all species since I was a kid and feel comfortable with accommodating special care requests. I am very flexible with my schedule and am usually available to be with your best friends for most of their waking hours. I have a pet cam available if I need to leave them alone for a little bit. I live on a large countryside area a bit off the main road with lots of grassy unfenced area. I keep my home very clean but animals are allowed to snuggle with me on the furniture to make their stay as comfy as possible. About: I grew up with a cat and found a love for all my friends dogs. I have been working with animals since I can remember. I have also worked with Second Chance and have taken their train the trainer type class. I love training new tricks and starting a new bond with most animals (no spiders or snakes). I am a remote worker, which means I can come to you. I am able to take breaks throughout the day to take walks or give some attention to the Animals. Also if you have a puppy that needs to be potty trained I have a great schedule for that. While I will be coming to your place to take care of your animals, I would prefer to meet up at least once before watching your pet to make sure there are no problems. I also believe if I am watching your pet at your home any messes are on me to clean.

About: Cats have always been my favorite pet to own. Having one ever since I can remember. Cleaning litter boxes and any cat mess is part of my system. Owning two cats of my own. I can provide a couple of toys to bring, or play using your toys. Feeding and watering the cat. Any special requirement is never too big to keep the cat happy as can be. “Fawn is fairly new to Ximena and her pack. I wanted to have a back up sitter for when we wanted to board Fawn. Fawn gets very excited when we pull up to Ximena's house. She knows the dog "pack" and is excited to be there. When I pick her up at the end of the day, she is ready to have a nap, as she has had a busy day walking and playing. Ximena takes very good care of her. I recommend Ximena for caring for your small dog. She and her pack are great!”

About: *due to my lovely regulars keeping me busy, I am unable to take new clients at this this time. You can still put in a request but I may not be able to take it. Thank you! I've had dogs my entire life and have taken care of neighbors/friends/professors dogs for years. I consider my dog my son and nothing is more important to me than making sure the dogs in my life and loved and well cared for. Since starting Rover spring 2022, I've watched over 100 dogs of many breeds and sizes, many of whom I've now watched multiple times and feel very bonded with. **** I am full for all repeating (i.e., weekly drop-ins/walks) requests currently. Feel free to still put in the request but depending on time, days, and your location, I will likely be unable to commit to repeat weekday services right now. I am also limiting housesitting mostly to past clients but you are welcome to still submit a request. I live in an apartment so I'm limiting services to dog walking, drop in visits, and housesitting for now. Flexible with times and lengths of these, however! I always make sure to set aside lots of time for pets and cuddles in all of my drop ins! I will also send lots of pictures and as many updates as you would like. I am a PhD student in psychology with generally flexible hours so I do best with dogs who can be left for 2-4 hours so I can attend classes and meetings. Depending on the day, I may not be able to do a midday individual drop-in or walk this semester but my weekend availability is wide open. For housesitting, it would be wonderful if it were a home where you would be okay with me bringing my (quiet, small, housetrained, 10 pound) dog with me so I don't have to leave him all night. About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.

Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician that works with dogs of all sizes and different temperaments daily. I'm comfortable with administering medications, doing nail trims, and picking up poop! I currently work full time at a Veterinary clinic, but am typically off Fridays-Sundays (I work rotating Saturdays until noon). I'm also in the Army Reserves, so I may be gone certain weekends. About: Hello! I have grown up with animals all of my life from frogs, turtles, fish, dogs, and cats. I currently have 2 cats of my own. Both 5 years old. I adopted them when they were just kittens. I am also very experienced taking care of dogs. I love to take them on long walks. I either go to a park or around the neighborhood. I had 3 dogs as a teenager (3 Yorkies). Although, I have taken care of all sizes and breeds of animals. I have specifically dealt with animals who need extra care and attention. I have previously provided appropriated prescription medicine to dogs and cats. I can help with visits to the vet as well. I am starting my NICU position as a nurse in May, but would still love to help out the animals as well as the humans ❤️ I am currently finishing up my senior year as a nursing student so I can be flexible with my study time throughout the week and weekend! With my own cats they are inside cats, and only aloud in our screen in porch. They absolutely live when they get to go out there. I spoil all the animals. I make sure to tire out the digs by going on long walks and playing fetch!

“I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! Thank you for loving him like one of your family!”
