Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! My kitty is almost 16 years old and I just really wanted that reassurance of having someone around more often than just bopping in for 15 mins a day - so I’m thankful for finding this service and the sitting going smoothly! About: I have taken care of dogs as long as I can remember! I watch pets for friends and family all the time. I love being able to shower pets with play time, walks and cuddles (if they like those things)! I'm available to sit/board most days and weekends. I will have plenty of time to play, go on walks and provide bathroom breaks. I do work hybrid, so there might be a day or two where I'll be away for maximum 8 hours. I have a fenced in backyard and no pets. I do have a crate on hand if your dog prefers a crate. I know some dogs are crate trained and/or prefer crates.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and like most people, I love them. I am mom to Cooper, an almost 2 year old Cocker Spaniel/Border Collie mix. He is a shy, fearful, and anxious dog but he is becoming more and more outgoing and playful every day! I have years of experience with all types of dogs as my aunt fostered for Wayside Waifs and had no fewer than 3 dogs of her own at all times. About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was about five-years-old! From my own to pets of friends and family. I consider animals as important as people! I’ve also cared for my own and other’s fish, birds, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, quail. I’m an avid hiker and love walking with dogs and even have a cat of my own that I leash trained and goes on walks with me! I’ll play with your pets, take them out for fresh air and exercise, or just hang out for awhile so they don’t think they’ve been abandoned (as some cats and dogs seem to believe)! I am a self employed and make my own schedule, often working from home. My schedule is highly flexible and can usually accommodate your needs. I love playing with animals! Can feed and give medications as needed in most situations. Scoop poop. Make sure they haven’t torn apart the plants! Etc! In my home care, pets can be walked on a regular basis. Can have their own room if needed or have access to kennel. We have a large house and plenty of room to play. Prices are flexible depending on the location, number and type of animals.
