“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! My kitty is almost 16 years old and I just really wanted that reassurance of having someone around more often than just bopping in for 15 mins a day - so I’m thankful for finding this service and the sitting going smoothly! I love being able to shower pets with play time, walks and cuddles (if they like those things)! I'm available to sit/board most days and weekends. I will have plenty of time to play, go on walks and provide bathroom breaks. I do work hybrid, so there might be a day or two where I'll be away for maximum 8 hours. About: I have been around dogs my entire life and like most people, I love them. I am mom to Cooper, an almost 2 year old Cocker Spaniel/Border Collie mix. I have years of experience with all types of dogs as my aunt fostered for Wayside Waifs and had no fewer than 3 dogs of her own at all times. “Sean and Jolene are basically the VIP concierge service of pet sitting. Honestly, we couldn’t ask for more unless they also started doing laundry and cooking us dinner. It’s incredibly comforting to go on vacation knowing your fur babies are living their best lives—probably better than you are—getting loved, spoiled, and treated like tiny, furry royalty. Meanwhile, you’re out here hoping your hotel towels are as fluffy as your dog’s emotional support blanket. They truly are amazing… and at this point, I’m not entirely convinced my pets even miss me.”
