About: I volunteer at the APA animal shelter where I walk and play with all types of dogs. I have also taken care of a wide variety of animals including lizards, fish, kittens (2 weeks old), puppies, and turtles! I’m currently working part-time at a restaurant so I have plenty of time to spend time with your animals and make sure they are well taken care of! I give all pets love and affection with different pets needing different things! I’ve only own my giant orange Galileo for his 14 years but he has taught me so much more than every other critter I have had the pleasure of meeting. Cats are absolutely the master of their own worlds. Sometimes that’s glued right to your side and sometimes that’s in a far-away cat tree but they are their own beings who make their own decisions. I am very grateful to have had every experience I’ve gotten with every cat I’ve met. Including, a 19yo in her final months, a few kittens just learning how to get around in the world, and the most bonkers critters just having a grand ole time making chaos. Not only will you teach me about your cat but your cat will teach me about how to enter their environment. I promise to learn, listen, and complete any ritual that’s needed before dinner is served.

About: I have had animals in my house since I was a child. My cats act more like dogs and love to play and have fun yet they can still be calm and cuddly. I would love to create memories with your pets as well! I currenlty spend 3 days working from and can be there for your pet when they need me. They are also able to keep me company as I watch movies or binge tv shows. They are always allowed a cuddle to sleep or a cuddle on the couch. I have a fenced in yard but can also have your dog leashed and taken on a walk or tethered in the yard. They will always have access to food and water and are fed on whatever schedule you would like them to be fed on. Playtime is also my favorite. I have a lot of open space in my home and have a room where they would be able to go if they prefer to not be around other animals.

I want to relive those moments with other dogs while making other families happy and get away from the chaos in and delight of having a dog. I’ve taught her how to low-five for treats, lay on my legs during Sunday naps, and keep to herself on walks (she’s a very social dog). Wake up, let the dog(s) out, feed them breakfast, and wipe their feet if it is muddy out. Let them out during lunch and feed them lunch, then let them out again after work (4pm). Feed them dinner, then let them out again around 9pm before bed. I work from home full-time, so these tasks are consistently met. In my own home, I stick to the schedule outlined above. In somebody else’s home, I would also stick to a schedule that has been provided by the owner.
“We had a great experience with Marie and her family! She was available to do a meet and greet before we left Cooper with her for a long weekend and was very flexible on drop off and pick up timing. We got updates throughout the weekend and Cooper came home absolutely exhausted, a sure sign of a good time. We like that he was able to get a lot of interaction with the kids, and they all seemed to like helping out. We will definitely have Marie on our list next time we need a place for Cooper to stay.”
