I started working as a kennel assistant when I was 14 and went on to work at a local veterinary clinic from 2009–2023 before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I’ve met a LOT of animals over the years, from the super sweet to the wild and feral, and I love them all. I’ve had cats as pets all my life and have great attention to detail on cleanliness of litter boxes and water bowls. About: Seven years ago, I welcomed my first cat into my life, and since then, my appreciation for these amazing creatures has only deepened. Currently, I share my home with two wonderful feline companions who bring endless joy and enrichment to my days. William, the elder of the two, came into my life during the COVID-19 pandemic and prefers a stable, unchanging environment. He dislikes disruptions like new cats or unexpected visitors. On the other paw, Sir Walter Mouselot, my younger boy, is more sociable and open to making new friends, although his grumpy older brother often puts a damper on his efforts. Because of my cats' unique personalities and needs, I've discovered a passion for caring for cats in their own homes. Whether it's providing company, playtime, or simply ensuring their comfort, I tailor my care to meet their individual requirements. My experience has taught me patience, understanding, and a deep respect for the unique bond between humans and felines. I couldn't imagine my life without these furry companions, and I look forward to continuing to enrich their lives as they enrich mine.

About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.

“Paloma provided last minute care for our dogs while we were here for a trip in the Ozarks! She was a true blessing! We originally were going to do 2 visits to the hotel but she accommodated keeping our guys at her home while we enjoyed a less worrisome day at Silver Dollar City and we didn’t have to worry about leaving them at the hotel. She sent photos and communicated very well! She accommodated our timeframes without complaint even when they were unknown. Our dog is a rescue with anxiety and walked right in making himself at home. She clearly has an inviting energy the animals pick up. Would recommend!”

About: I have an extensive understanding over dogs, cats, horses, exotics, and even the common goldfish all the way down to a medical understanding! (I’m in school to be a veterinary technician) Being raised on a farm I’ve been around just about every animal and feel that I’m extremely equipped for any situation that may arise. I have a large knowledge over geriatrics, high-low energy, overcoming anxiety and stressors, and even offer my own training exercises with every client. If your pet is more equipped for Long distance running or sniffing off leash, I have my family farm roughly 20 mins from Sedalia that I would be more than happy to take them to for a new experience! If your pup is more adapted to an in town walk around, I also have an apartment in downtown Sedalia and a perfected walking route that has been tested with my pooch! Being in Sedalia for a year now, we have also found some very nice enclosed doggy parks that we’ve come to love as well as other great places that no dogs can resist! With in house care, I am home almost 100% of the time so whether we are at my house or yours, time will be spent!

About: I was raised on a farm a grew up learning to care for animals. I have worked at a vet clinic for 8 years and have acquired a great deal of knowledge on pet health. This knowledge allows me to recognize when a pet needs medical attention, as well as how to administer treatments/medications, etc. I have two dogs of my own. They are both fond of other dogs, but are very playful and can be overwhelming to nervous or standoffish dogs. I work full time. My typical schedule is 7am-5:30pm, with an hour lunch break midday. I have Wednesdays off and I’m usually home all day. I work part time on weekends. I live on a two-acre property in the country with plenty of space to run. However, my yard is not fenced in. My two dogs spend a lot of time playing outside, as well as hanging out with me inside. They have a room they can be locked in if they are too playful for your dog, and they also have crates. They are crate-trained and are in their crates while I’m at work.

I have 2 dogs, black/tan coonhound Waylon, and Black/tan mini dachshund Molly, and my orange tabby cat Garfield.
