About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. I prefer a meet-and-greet before a first stay so that both the dog and I can ensure we're comfortable together. And I love sending photos and updates! I work from home Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm, so I’m home much of the day and can easily fit walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and plenty of attention into my routine. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. She took the time to do a meet-and-greet first and carefully introduced Soup to each of her dogs, which made me feel so comfortable leaving him with her. Emily’s dogs are all such sweet babies and very well behaved. 🥰 Soup absolutely LOVED being with them! From all the pictures and updates Emily sent us, we could tell he was having a blast. Honestly, I think he was living his best life there 😂❤️ He had so much fun playing and spending time with his new friends. What I appreciate most about Emily is that she doesn’t just “watch” your dog — she genuinely cares for them like one of her own. About: I have regularly fostered dogs for the past five years and have worked with over 75 dogs and counting. I have so loved this experience meeting new friends of all breeds, needs, shapes and sizes and would love to meet your pup as well! I have even had the experience and privilege of taking puppies numerous times to the nursing home to meet with residents there, bringing with them their puppy joy and cheer. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help! Our family follows the school schedule during the week day, leaving at 8:15 and arriving home around 3:30pm. If needed, I can allow for one bathroom break mid day. There is a room officially dedicated in our house to the animals that I watch and foster. They would have this room all to themselves for when they come stay (no need to share with other pets!). There are pee pads and litter boxes also available if needed. Please see pictures of the room located under the sitter profile. I also have a crate available and an x pen if your furry friend prefers that. I have a fenced in front and back yard that has been visited and approved by the Humane Society.
