“Victoria was great! Barkley really enjoyed his visit. I think he thought he was on vacation! Victoria did a great job communicating while we were gone, was very responsive, and shared pics to keep us up to date.”

“Ximena always does a terrific job! This time she let us know that Pugsley wasn't eating well and offered him some special food, after checking with us. That was all it took to get him to eat like her dogs and he came home happy and well fed! We always trust that Pugsley will get great care!”

“Matt and Angel did an amazing job watching my dog while I was out of town for a few days! They welcomed him in as their own and always kept me in the loop. Couldn’t ask for better!”

“Mary was such a friendly person and very welcoming! My pup had the best time and seemed to be right at home! Mary was very communicative and sent photos. Thank you again!”

“I really love the way Brandon handled my dog. He took him on a walk, and it looked like he was even at a park. My dog did not really like men when I first got him, but when I gave my dog to Brandon, my dog looked up at him he knew he was getting ready to have a great time. I will definitely recommend Brandon to any dogs family. I truly appreciate his help.”

“Amanda did great with our 3 year old Terrier Mix. She was easy to communicate with and sent pictures to us regularly while we were away. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a good sitter. ”

“My 2 pups had a great time with Alicen. We loved getting daily updates and could see they were having a great time and great care was taken with them. Will definitely use Alicen again when we have to leave town. She is very knowledgeable and friendly.”

“Jennifer and her kids did a great job with Casey. She was more than willing to accommodate having Casey eat separately since she is on a special diet. I received plenty of photos throughout the stay. Would surely return when in the area.”

“Dani and her wife were great with our dog Lucy while we were out of town! They took extra time to get to know her and sent reports and photos each day. I really appreciated the love and attention they gave her, and Lucy got along with their two dogs after getting to know them. They have a nice home and fenced yard. Highly recommend!”

“Bernadette LOVES coming here. She always gets the best care, lots of play time with the pups, walks and cuddles. We are super lucky to have found Stephanie and Kyle. 💕”

“Erin did a great job taking care of my puppy for the weekend! When I went to drop Lottie off she brought her dog down so that they could meet on neutral territory, which was really nice and during the weekend she text me updates and pics every day. I liked that she only took one pet at a time in addition to hers, that made me feel much safer leaving my puppy there. I would definitely recommend and use her services again!”

“Franklin had a good time with Cat & her family. He has mild separation anxiety and I was very happy to see how well he settled in via the pictures Cat provided. He was treated like a member of the family. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely will be a repeat customer!”

“Laura & her family have made leaving Lucy so much easier! I think she would move in with them and be as happy as she is at home! Laura has been incredibly professional and so kind- sending me photos, updates and is always responsive. She is a gem and I’m so lucky she was referred to me.”

“We have an older dog who has some anxiety issues. Anthony and family went over and above to find a solution to his problems and took such good care of him. Thank you.”

“I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! Thank you for loving him like one of your family!”

“Elizabeth was fantastic! Will definitely be using her again in the future. I received daily pictures and updates which made us feel so comfortable while we were away.”

“Mindy was very helpful by coming to visit Scooter ahead of time, a couple weeks before he went to stay with her. They made a connection right away, as she seems to have a way with dogs. She sent pictures of Scooter while he stayed with her, which was reassuring. And she offered to bring him back to our house after we returned home, which was very helpful.”

“I am so thankful for Ellie! My cat is very shy and can be stressed with change, but she got along with Ellie so well and loved her visits! It makes me feel better about going out of town knowing she’s in good hands.”

“Hailea was great! She communicated regularly about my kitties and sent great photos. When I got home, they seemed well taken care of and happy. I will be booking with Hailea again!”

“Jennifer did a great job caring for our fur babies! She is very responsive and provides lots of pictures so you can see your pets while you’re away. We will definitely reach out to her again in the future!”

“Kaylea did an excellent job of taking care of my two cats. She had great communication with me and kept me updated on how my cats were doing. She was even able to administer a nausea tablet to one of my cats who was having a common nausea problem and did an excellent job. She unfortunately had to clean up a few messes and didn't have any complaints about doing so and I really appreciated that she did that on her own to make sure I didn't come home from vacation with messes to clean up! I highly recommend her and will be using Kaylea for all my future pet-sitting needs!”
About: I have been around pets since I was a kid. I did take care of elder dogs in the past time. I did dog-sitting the puppies. I had experience with foster dogs and my housemate in the past. I have experience with deaf dogs myself. My family and I raised a deaf dog; she is now at peace. I am currently working from home. My schedule has some flexibility that I can take care of other things such as taking care of pets. I always make sure the pets feel safe and secure in their space. I care about their boundaries in their daily routine and develop relationships with their pets.

“I am satisfied with Janae’s work. I left my cat for a week and the cat is still alive. Lol. She sent photos and answered messages quickly enough. The house was kept clean. I will work with her again. Very respectful, kind & responsible person.”

“Taylor has become a good friend of Dexter and me. On my recent trip away, she took care of my Bengal and was reliable and friendly. She also helped me after my schedule changed and I got home early. I had never needed to change a Rover reservation so she took care of it for me. Thanks, Taylor!”

“Wow! Allison stayed with my kitty Wally for three nights, and I came home to a happy and content boy - and he can be a handful! Home was also left immaculate. I appreciated the update pics off and on while I was away also. Thanks so much Allison!”

About: I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family for several years, with a special focus on cats and their unique personalities. I currently have two sphynx cats, Louis and Claudia, so I’m very familiar with both the affectionate and particular sides of feline care. I’m especially comfortable with shy or sensitive cats and take the time to build trust at their pace so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. My experience includes feeding routines, litter box care, playtime, and maintaining a calm, consistent environment. I’ve also provided basic medication when needed and always prioritize gentle, attentive care. Also thanks to my kitties I have lots of extra experience in baths, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. I’ll keep you updated with regular messages so you can feel confident your cat is happy, comfortable, and in good hands!
About: I’ve taken care of my childhood dog and gecko for years growing up, and I potty trained & pet sat for 4 months for my brother’s puppy. I’ve babysat kids before and much prefer dogs!! Because I work remote, I have the flexibility take breaks during my workday to go on walks/take care of personal things/etc so dog sitting would fit in great with my schedule! I treat all animals and homes like my own! I’ve house sat before, and I’ve pet sat before, and I’m more than happy to combine both of those things! I like to bounce around and it makes me happy to be in new spaces. Give me a to-do list around the house, for your pet, etc and I’m game!

“Donna is great. She is so chill so all the pups are always just adorable toddlers playing in the yard, or napping on cots. Our giant baby has serious attachment disorder. Rescue dogs, eh? Anyway. Rough drop off our first time. This time, he started to get excited half a block away!!! It is so stress relieving to be able to drop off Boo, and go to appointments ts knowing he’s having fun with his friends. We will be back and back and back.”

“Christine, and her dog Daisy, make Fawn's day each Tuesday. Fawn loves going there and absolutely goes bonkers when we pull up to their house. But today, Christine went above and beyond for me. My car told me I had a low tire. And it was really low. I told her my husband would be there to air it up. She jumped in and got an air compressor from her garage and aired my tire. I was able to get home safely and my husband did not have to drive in to do that for me. I highly recommend Christine if you are looking for play dates for your pup. And Daisy loves having friends over.”

“Alicen is the best gift for my dog. In the past, my dog has not had good experiences with some dogs but Alicen knows how to introduce dogs and also bring a calm confidence to the environment. I am so grateful to have found her. My pup came home happy and calm too.”

“Shannon was very patient and accommodating while we tried to figure out if we would need her or not. And I'm confident our little Lily was in good hands with her. Had a very positive, easy experience...highly recommend Shannon!”

“My dog has been getting daycare services with Ximena for about 3 weeks now and I couldn't be happier. Ximena is literally the most lovely and kind person I have ever met. She treats my dog as if she's one of her own. Ximena and her family are truly lovely people who genuinely love dogs. They always go above and beyond during my dogs visits, take tons of photos and give consistent updates. They cater to my dog and take such good care of her. I'm so happy that I found Ximena and I have no plans of ever taking her anywhere else.”

About: My home is a dog lover's dream — two friendly dogs already live here and are always ready to make new friends. We have a fully fenced backyard, loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. Since I work from home full-time, I'm always present — whether that's taking a mid-morning break to play in the backyard, keeping an eye on the pack while I'm at my desk, or just being available if anyone needs a cuddle or a quick romp outside. My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day — morning energy bursts, afternoon lounging, outdoor time whenever the mood strikes. Guest dogs just fold right into that routine. There's always someone to play with, always a sunny spot to nap in, and always a human nearby. My home is set up to be as dog-friendly as possible. The backyard is fully fenced, so dogs have safe, free access to outdoor space all day long — no leash required for backyard time. Inside, they're treated like family: furniture is fair game, the bed is open, and there are plenty of indestructible toys to keep them entertained. With two resident dogs already in the mix, guest dogs are never bored or lonely. There's always a playmate available, and I'm always nearby since I work from home full-time. I keep a close eye on group dynamics to make sure everyone is comfortable and playing nicely. I aim to keep routines as close to what your dog is used to as possible — feeding schedules, rest time, outdoor play — so the transition feels easy and low-stress for them. My goal is simple: your dog goes home happy, tired, and already looking forward to their next visit.
“Catlyn was fantastic. My sometimes nervous dog seemed comfortable because of how Catlyn eased her into the new environment. Kallie took her time to sniff everything in the house and yard but Catlyn’s easy attitude let Kallie feel comfortable exploring. Her dogs were sweet and Catlyn takes care to be sure all the dogs are getting along or if she needs to separate them. Her yard and home are lovely and she is too. I would recommend Catlyn as a great choice.”

“Jennifer and James were such a God-send when Spenser and I were getting married last week!! Our wedding venue allowed for our doggie to be present at the ceremony (she walked the aisle in a flower collar and pearl leash :)!) but not reception, and so we needed not only a dog sitter but one who would be willing to pick up our girl from the wedding venue! James was happy to do it, showed up right on time, and our Chewie happily went with! They sent us cute pics of our babygirl relaxing on their couch and playing in their backyard during the wedding reception. It really put us at ease. We've never had to turn to Rover for dog sitting, usually we have family do it (obviously not an option when the whole family and friend-crew is at the wedding), but now that we know how amazing James and Jennifer are, we are forever grateful and liable to ask for their help again! Thanks SO much!!”

“This was our first time using Rover. I'm so glad we chose Samantha and Jesse to take care of Buddy Bear while we were at our son's Senior Day. They sent pictures and communicated when necessary. Scheduling and pick up and drop off were a breeze. I'd definitely recommend them if you are looking for someone in the Jefferson City area. Thanks Samantha and Jesse!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs and have never thought of them as “just pets”, they're family! I've raised both a Beagle and a French Bulldog from puppyhood and have experience caring for senior dogs as well. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality, whether they're energetic and playful or happy to spend the day snuggled up on the couch. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust when you're away. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and cared for while giving you peace of mind. I'm a stay-at-home mom and work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pup attention, playtime, walks, and lots of love. Your dog's happiness and safety will always be my priority. We even have a separate room available for them who would feel more comfortable having their own quiet space while staying with us. My family recently moved to Missouri from Hawaii, where I had the opportunity to care for many wonderful dogs. I truly enjoy being around animals and would love to treat your furry family member like one of my own. For me, the pet care including my dog is the most priority in my life. I’m currently working as a freelance so my schedule is very flexible! I can definitely change my schedule to suit to your request, please feel free to let me know! I will pay my FULL attention to our dogs all the time, and if you have any requests I’d love to do anything you and your dog will love! Your pets' happiness and safety will always be my priority. We even have a separate room available for them who would feel more comfortable having their own quiet space while staying with us.
About: I have over 5 years of pet-sitting experience and have had dogs my entire life, giving me extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. What sets me apart is my commitment to providing personalized care and maintaining each pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. In addition to pet sitting, I occasionally volunteer at a puppy nursery that cares for rescued mother dogs and their newborn puppies. This experience has given me additional exposure to caring for young puppies, monitoring their needs, and helping provide a safe and nurturing environment during an important stage of their development. I am comfortable caring for multiple pets, administering basic medications if needed, and providing extra patience and attention to puppies, senior pets, and animals with specific routines. Whether a pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having companionship throughout the day, I adapt my care to meet their individual needs. I understand that every pet is unique, and I strive to provide reliable, attentive care while keeping owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. I am currently taking online classes over the summer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and overnight care. My priority is always providing a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for pets. I live on 12 acres in a quiet setting and have one small, very friendly Cocker Spaniel. While my yard is not fenced, pets are always supervised outdoors and can be kept on long leads for safe exercise and exploration when appropriate. I never allow pets off-leash unless specifically instructed by the owner and it is safe to do so. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while keeping their environment clean and secure. I understand that trust is important when someone is caring for a beloved pet, so I maintain open communication and provide regular updates and photos. I also pay close attention to each pet's behavior and needs to ensure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout my time with them.
“She took us at the last minute and our dogs came home very happy! She genuinely cared about our girls and you can tell her own dog is as happy as can be and loves to play. Definitely will be using her again!”

“Jennifer does amazing with Flash and she oftentimes has her own leash and poop bags. She is also really flexible and oftentimes can take last minute walk requests which is truly helpful!”

“Donna is EXCELLENT with my dogs Charlie and Buddy. They're Maltese-Shih Tzu mixes, 7 and 3 years old, and they absolutely love her and they walks she takes them on. I've watched her with my boys and based on what I've seen, would highly recommend Donna to anyone looking for a walker with a great temperament and strong skills at dog handling.”

About: Hi, my name is Becca. I live with four dogs, two Yorkies(Cocoa and Buddy), a Pit mix and a Beagle (Doobie and Maribel)! I love to play in the backyard with them and take them on walks. I think that it’s important to show dogs you care about them, by spending time with them. I enjoy long walks especially with dogs, it’s more fun when you have a furry friend with you! I look forward to getting to know your dog and learning more about their personality. Don’t hesitate to tell me if your dog has special needs or requirements. My schedule is somewhat flexible. I am currently in paramedic school. My classes are mostly in the mornings, but my schedule is pretty flexible during the afternoons on week days. I have a fenced-in yard, and all dogs have plenty of toys to play with! I often run around in the backyard with them to help get some of their energy out!
“Taylor was great! She came over the day before to meet the doggies. Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. Thank you!”

About: My experience with pets started at an early age, as there has never been a time in my life where I haven’t had at least one dog and cat that I absolutely adored and took care of. From fostering kittens to attending the hounds around town walking program for dogs- I’ve had a pretty wide range! I’ve completed a socializing program with my prior local humane society, pet sat many of my friends and family’s’ fur babies- as well as currently taking care of my three sweet cats! I would love to meet your pets and share some love when you aren’t able to! It brings a lot of joy to my life :) I’m currently a medical professional employed in the Columbia community but have pet sat as a side gig for many years as a way to connect with the community, meet other local pet parents, and love on others pets as if they were my own! My schedule varies and is often open the entire day. I would love to fit some pet sitting/walking opportunities into my life when I’m able! Taking care of your pets in your home is completely up to your preferred method! Every pet parent is different and I will make sure to tailor that experience to the sitting. Details and communication are the most important thing .

About: I am very dependable and have lots of experience pet sitting. I have watched dogs with disabilities and health issues. I am trust worthy and love animals. I graduated William Woods University with an equestrian Science degree and have experience with all types of animals. I have my own transportation and am willing to stay over night. I am willing to do anything for your pet such as walking bathing and other things. I love to stay organized and keep things clean. You will never have to worry about your pets with me as I will spend a lot of time with them and make sure you feel comfortable with me taking care of them. Please consider me as your next pet sitter I promise to take the best care of your animals.
About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of creatures ever since I could walk and have had a love for it the entire time! The list of animals I have experience with include rabbits, pet birds, snakes, geckos , turtles, crabs, ferrets, mice, fish, hedgehogs, goats, chickens, cattle, pigs and of course your average every day cats and dogs! I was also a vet tech for around 4 years so I still have the passion and experience that comes with being in that field so I do feel comfortable caring for special needs and pets who need medication. I also have my Bachelors degree in Animal Sciences from Mizzou:) Another area I have experience in is dog training! I have trained a service dog as well have trained numerous puppies basic obedience and manners! I also have helped bottle feed and raise up puppies and kittens so have done early neurological stimulation with them. I have also worked with some reactive dogs as well. Some other experience I have included giving nail grinds and trims as well as trimming up hair paw pads and normal bathing and blow drying/brushing out! I am currently very open on availability as I’m looking to do this from home for the current future while I look at online schooling! I can easily come into your home and introduce myself to your dogs and you beforehand to make everyone more comfortable. If going on walks or playing I could bring my own dogs with who are dog friendly or just take yours!
About: I've had pets in my family since I was a kid, and I have taken care of foster animals, family pets and friends pets throughout adulthood. I have taken care of pets who have medication needs and environment needs (scared of thunder and such.) I work for myself, so I am able to work around my work hours accordingly and easily to provide the care that is needed for my clients. My care is adaptive to each pet family's needs and home. I am an observant person and pay attention to the details while caring for pets. I cannot take on daycare or boarding services right now, but I am more than happy to take dogs for walks, care for cats, and pet sit while you're away.

About: I have been a veterinary assistant at Lake Pet Hospital for 2+ years. There, I assist veterinarians with many tasks including x-rays, toenail trims, filling prescriptions, and giving medications. I'm currently a full time college student, but that is my only commitment other than your pets! I am available most evenings but am also willing to make early mornings work! My many years of experience as a veterinary assistant and kennel technician give me peace of mind that taking care of your furry friend will be a breeze and a blast!

“Victoria was great! Barkley really enjoyed his visit. I think he thought he was on vacation! Victoria did a great job communicating while we were gone, was very responsive, and shared pics to keep us up to date.”

“Matt and Angel did an amazing job watching my dog while I was out of town for a few days! They welcomed him in as their own and always kept me in the loop. Couldn’t ask for better!”

“Have had dog sitters all over the country. I have never been more comfortable than bringing out dogs to her..it's like a vacation for the dogs and stress free for us.. she is awesome, her setup is perfect.”

About: I have training experience & trained my pup myself! We play, snuggle, walk, and continue to practice training every day! I love teaching my pup new tricks, and can do the same for yours! We are very happy & energetic in our home! My sweet Buster gets along with other animals very well! He's a sweetie! I make sure to do mentally stimulating activities and challenges for Buster! They're so good for dogs! I make them fun and rewarding! I can do that for your baby too! I work full-time. And when I come home, my attention is on my pup- getting his energy out and having fun! If your request is for house sitting, I would need to bring my dog along with me. I'm home all evenings and all weekends. On the weekend, especially, I'll be available to do all the caring for your sweet babe!! The #1 thing is I don't give my dog people food. If I do, he only gets safe fruits & veggies and cheese. I don't have anything a dog could choke on or really swallow. I put Buster in a kennel when I'm gone, but I could leave your dog out if they don't do kennels. Please ask me questions if you have any!
“Lisa and her husband took care of our little girl for about 10 days. It’s always nerve racking leaving your baby with new people for that long. They were amazing!!! They would send pics/videos and text updates often but not too much. Dolce was well cared for and would absolutely use them again.”

“Donna was quick to respond to my inquiry and schedule a meet & greet prior to booking. She was accomodating to the extended times I needed, seemed knowledgeable with dogs, sent me updates while my puppy was in her care, and I picked up a happy puppy when I got back! I will book with her again!”
