When I arrived to drop them off, one of the pups had gotten carsick all over himself and the other pup, and Barnabas was not phased by this, saying he’d just give them a bath. He sent regular photos and videos and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for my dogs. I have avoided men as dog sitters in the past because I have female who is leery of men, bus she warmed right up to Barnabas with no issues. About: Hello, I own 6 ferrets, 2 cat's, a dog, a snake and a bird. I've owned animals my entire life and love all animals. Im a sucker for big dogs and especially Rottweiler's and Pit bulls. I don't mind house sitting and letting them out multiple times a day and walking them so they don't get to bored or lonely. I'm also happy to scoop litter boxes and play with cats or ferrets (I'm also a sucker for these little heathens). Also more than comfortable feeding any scaley friends. We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.
