“We have one easy dog (though not too easy because he is still a puppy and not fully potty trained) and a challenging 5 year old maltese that doesn't trust easily. Leaving him has always been a challenge. We've never felt so comfortable being gone from him as when Lael had him. I don't mind being away from him but I worry about him being trouble for the person keeping him. He wasn't an easy keep for her but she was so open to letting him warm up and adjust to her. By the last couple days he was snuggling on her lap and following her around like he does with me. She also was great with our puppy and continuing his potty training. He in particular loved running in her big, fenced yard with her dogs and having access to a doggy door. While we were gone she sent videos and pictures and gave us regular updates. What a great experience for us and our fur babies. Thank you Lael.”

About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. I have a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I have a couple big trees for shade while pets are playing outdoors and a covered back porch for relaxing.

About: I’ve spent a lot of time taking care of cats, and I’ve gotten really comfortable with all the day-to-day things they need. I handle feeding, litter box cleaning, and basic grooming, and I’m good at noticing changes in their behavior. About: I volunteered at CARE which is a no kill pet shelter for cats and dogs in 2014 and recently started volunteering at this place again, February 2018. My duties included feeding and making sure the animals had enough water. Cleaned out kennels and cages and would take the dogs outside and walk them. I have had dogs and cats since I was born and currently had a dog who loved being around other cats and dogs. She loved to play with animals as well and loved children. Her name was Daisy she is in my profile pic with me. Daisy was euthanized on September 1st, 2023. I now have another dog whose name is Emma. About: I have cared for pets all my life. I have always had a dog or 2 in my house that are spoiled and had me well trained. I owned a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming business in Ozark for 8 years.. I retired about four years ago. Since I am retired, I am home most of the day, except for a few errands to run occasionally. I live alone with two senior dogs who get along with most other animals. There are no children in the house. My home is all one level, with a fully fenced backyard. Fur babies cared for in my home have free run of the house, are allowed to be on the furniture, (unless the owner request differently). I am capable of crating your loved one if they are already crate trained… Your fur babies will get lots of love and ear scratches. I’m experienced in various diets and food prep along with medication’s, including injections.

About: Hello and welcome to our little side of dog paradise! I will need a meet and greet before I can commit to any extent of stay. All dogs must be current on shots and show no symptoms of infection or intestinal issues. Charlie, my last dog was a dachshund, she was not a good social fit for most dogs and we were very limited in taking her or leaving her with anybody. I loved her dearly but she was a total pill! Dottie our new cattle dog mix is just wonderful with other dogs, and because she loves to play...here we are on this site! Dottie is such a great host to all dogs in our house I thought why not? I work from home and also have times where I need to be gone but never for more than 3 hours at a time. I will never book if I am too busy to be a good dog parent. That is a promise. I have a flexible schedule that I am in charge of at all times. I would like to see a complete profile with photos to consider a booking. I am not looking to make this my primary business and only want to cater to the right pets that fit our life. I am not a dog trainer but do love them dearly when they are in my care. A good fit for us is a typical fun loving dog that likes everybody and wants to play and walk. I do believe another good fit would be the super lazy or old pet that just likes to lay around or be petted. I am all about them. They need to be house trained crate trained is a plus. I can’t take any aggressive tendencies toward kids, cats or other dogs. I would also like to avoid dogs that have intense anxiety or tend to be destructive. If our home sounds like a good fit reach out! Our days start early at 6:00am Monday-Friday, the weekends depend on our Schedule. We are also early to bed at 8:00pm so would like to avoid late pick ups but can understand if it’s a late flight or a long drive in a day to get back home. I Have a nice house in an awesome south east Springfield neighborhood, It comes with a wood 6ft privacy fence. I have a 9 year old kid who loves pets as well. We have Felix, a 3 year old male tabby who comes in and out on his own free will at all times of the day. He is indifferent to dogs, doesn't want to hang out with them but not going to bite or attack anybody. He is a good boy. Dottie is our new adopted dog. We got her from care rescue shelter in August 2025 to foster and eventually sealed the deal for keeps. She is a lovely little creature that loves to play and run around the backyard with her other dog buddies. Dottie has a crate and we still use it at times but she is pretty well allowed to roam around. She is crate trained and potty trained. Basically I am pretty easy dog mamma. If they need rest, they get it. If they want to play and run they can. They come in and out when they want. That's how we roll at our house.

About: My husband WFH while I love on pets full time! We have fostered through rescue organizations for 6 years now, always a rewarding experience! We used to do Rover full time in Kansas City KS, 2022-2024 before moving to our current house in MO. I helped raise 4 tiny puppies and found them furever homes. We have hosted up to 11 dogs at once utilizing 3 sections of the house as play group areas and rotation outside every couple hours. We recently fostered a puppy, Millie, who turned out to have a terminal life threatening illness. We adopted her and cared for her until her time to go was up. We also have a 6 year old dog that is now epileptic and on daily seizure meds. We have experience with all ages and medical conditions of life. As for training, I taught my first dog how to use buttons to communicate, crate train, and the regular dog commands. This is my full time job, my life's purpose, all thanks to my supportive husband who works from home. Every dog deserves the devotional and loyal love they give so freely! I am here to give back to them all the love they share and more. Through life I have learned that Safety and Trust are key to every relationship and home environment. About: We love dogs! We are called first when any of our friends go out of town. We have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages from older doxies to young mutts and we love large rotties too. We are also okay with special needs dogs and we make sure your dog gets their medications when scheduled. Our lab loves to make new friends with dogs of all sizes. We have a nice privacy fenced in back yard with a kiddie pool to help the dogs keep cool during the summer even though they will spend most of the time inside. Please know that if your pup stays with us he or she will be treated like a part of the family. We love dogs! I help my Dad on his farm only when I'm not scheduled to care for a pup I'm hosting. I'm free to stay at home all day with your pet. I always keep an eye on what's going on. I'm usually outside if our pups are. If I'm watching a pet at your home, I don't make messes.

About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a kid, im really considerate of everyone’s time and need of there own time I can help and do anything you may ask even give the pet medicine if that is what is needed I have 4 cats and they are very well trained and loveable. I also help out around the neighborhood in pet sitting so I pretty much know what you will expect of me and I’ll make sure it happens. I give them baths, brush them, feed them, walk them, I’m very calm and time proficient and know what to do in case of emergency
“We have one easy dog (though not too easy because he is still a puppy and not fully potty trained) and a challenging 5 year old maltese that doesn't trust easily. Leaving him has always been a challenge. We've never felt so comfortable being gone from him as when Lael had him. I don't mind being away from him but I worry about him being trouble for the person keeping him. He wasn't an easy keep for her but she was so open to letting him warm up and adjust to her. By the last couple days he was snuggling on her lap and following her around like he does with me. She also was great with our puppy and continuing his potty training. He in particular loved running in her big, fenced yard with her dogs and having access to a doggy door. While we were gone she sent videos and pictures and gave us regular updates. What a great experience for us and our fur babies. Thank you Lael.”

She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear Remy was happy and comfortable. Mikala was also incredibly flexible and understanding when my drop-off plans changed multiple times, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. She even reached out after I picked Remy up because she found one of Remy’s bowls and offered to ship it back to me. That level of thoughtfulness really meant a lot. About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. I have a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I have a couple big trees for shade while pets are playing outdoors and a covered back porch for relaxing.

“SWEET and EASY. This entire family is the sweetest bunch you’ll ever meet! Debbie allowed us to do a meet and greet prior to the visit which went perfectly smooth and fun! Debbie sent picture updates of my pup all throughout the weekend she had her which really made me feel at ease about using Rover for the first time. She was very professional and took the job seriously. She really made it so much easier than I anticipated! I’m 100% sure my pup got more cuddles than I could have asked for and I’ll 100% for sure be contacting Debbie again next time I need a sitter! Highly recommend! :)”
