“Barnabas is hands down the best I’ve found on Rover. He watched my three dogs (including two puppies that are still working on potty training) for 10 days and took excellent care of them. When I arrived to drop them off, one of the pups had gotten carsick all over himself and the other pup, and Barnabas was not phased by this, saying he’d just give them a bath. He sent regular photos and videos and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for my dogs. I have avoided men as dog sitters in the past because I have female who is leery of men, bus she warmed right up to Barnabas with no issues. And his dog Cerberus is a gentle giant who did wonderfully with my dogs as well. We will definitely contact Barnabas again!”

About: I worked as a dog walker and sitter for 3 years and had my own dog for 16. I’m comfortable with different temperaments, follow routines closely, and pay attention to behavior so things stay consistent and dogs feel settled. I work from home full-time, so I’m around throughout the day. I do teach yoga a few times a week, which takes me away for 2–3 hours at a time. Otherwise, I’m home and present with the dog. I’m in a single-family home with a large (partially fenced) backyard, though I prefer getting dogs out on walks rather than relying on the yard. I live near the Bentonville trails and greenway, so that’s where we go for longer walks - usually in search of the best sniffing spots. No other pets or children in the home. It’s a quiet, non-smoking space. Windows are usually open for fresh air, and there’s a big floor-to-ceiling window where dogs can hang out and watch the calm, quiet street. I’m flexible between sitting at my place or yours, and I can accommodate a crate if needed.

About: I have had dogs since a very early age. I love teaching and seeing them develop their little personalities. I currently own a Border Collie-Poodle mix and he is honestly the smartest and cutest dog I have ever had. He is only 12 pounds contrary to the size of his alleged parents...he needs a DNA test:). Overall, dogs are a special part of our days and they really make life worth living. I work from home full-time for the largest e-commerce in the US (Yes, you guessed it probably:)). I am able to provide short breaks and walks during working hours and long walks after work. I have a backyard that is fully fanced and doggies are able to take care of their business on a short-notice. My dog is allowed on the couch but the bed is for humans only :). My dog sleeps in his own bed in the bedroom and is free to walk around if he pleases so. My house is spacious and has several rooms in case they need a little alone time. About: I’ve had pets since I was a little girl. Cats, dogs, fish, hamster, ducks, and a rooster. I’ve done everything from potty training puppies to taking care of senior dogs. I only have 2 dogs right now but would have 10 if I had enough space! My passion and love for animals is why I want to be a pet sitter. I currently have a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday. I am available most weekends as well. I love my flexible schedule so I’m able to pet sit and spend time with my own dogs! I have a fenced in yard with 2 friendly dogs. I can come to your home for visits, walks, feedings, or take to park. I love being outside and enjoy taking my dogs with me to Lake Atalanta and other area parks.

“Barnabas is hands down the best I’ve found on Rover. He watched my three dogs (including two puppies that are still working on potty training) for 10 days and took excellent care of them. When I arrived to drop them off, one of the pups had gotten carsick all over himself and the other pup, and Barnabas was not phased by this, saying he’d just give them a bath. He sent regular photos and videos and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for my dogs. I have avoided men as dog sitters in the past because I have female who is leery of men, bus she warmed right up to Barnabas with no issues. And his dog Cerberus is a gentle giant who did wonderfully with my dogs as well. We will definitely contact Barnabas again!”
