However, my cats are pretty good about asking for what they want and directing people! And Billie Jo speaks and understands their language. About: I've had cats as long as I can remember. I'm 51 currently. Even as a young child, I cleaned out the litter boxes and fed the family's cats. Six years ago my torti died at the age of 21. I took care of her since she was 8 weeks old. I took care of her thru diabetes and thyroid issues. My other cat died the year before at age 19. I also had her her entire life. I currently have a tuxedo cat who was a former barn cat. I've had him for 10 years.
About: I respect cats' wide variety of personalities and differing levels of tolerance for strangers. If your cat loves to snuggle, we will snuggle. If your cat would be happier with me putting the food in the dish and backing away slowly, I can make that happen. About: While this is my start of professional dog sitting, I’ve been watching family and friends’ pets for many years. I even fostered a dog with behavioral issues a couple of years ago. My dog is my whole world and any pet in my care gets the same attention. I WFH most days, going into the office for a half a day every Wednesday and 3 full days at the beginning of the month. My job doesn’t require me to be glued to my computer so I can be very flexible with my schedule most days. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to runaround. For wet or cold days, I have a mostly empty finished basement for playing. For dogs that want daily walks, I live in a safe neighborhood where I walk my own dog multiple times a day.

About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

About: I’ve had dogs from a young age. Staying with me, they will get attention, love, play time and cuddles. They will also get to play with my dog Lexi. I work from home full time so I’m always here. I’m able to go outside and play with your pups or give them extra attention. I have a fenced in yard with locks on my gates. She can’t be replaced so I’m looking to fill the void by caring for others while my heart mends. About: Hi, my name is Philip and I love dogs. Through my life so far I have always been jealous of my friends whose parents allowed them to have a dog. But I take every opportunity that I can to play and care for dogs That being said, I have helped care for a couple of neighbors dogs and take them on many walks. One of them was German Shepherd puppy that I even was able to train and I grew quite attached. Whenever I am able to move out I plan to get a German shepherd for myself because of how much I loved my neighbor's puppy. About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: I have 3 dogs of my own ranging from a pit/akita to a chihuahua, and cats as well! I have great experience with dogs and cats! I’ve volunteered for KCPP (Kansas City Pet Project) for 7 almost 8 years now. Taking dogs on walks, giving training, feeding, and cleaning messes. But my love for animals didn’t start there. When my dad was teaching me to ride a bike, he kept telling me to watch where I was going—but I got distracted by a neighbor walking their dog. I turned, excitedly asking if I could pet it, and rode straight into a tree. Scraped knee, a little embarrassed… but my first question was still, “Can I pet the dog?” That’s how much I’ve always loved dogs. (True story by the way) I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate walks, feedings, and check-ins throughout the day, whether it’s early mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I stay organized and dependable. I care for pets with patience, attention, and genuine love, treating each one like they’re my own. I make sure their basic needs are always met—fresh water, proper feeding, regular walks, and a safe, clean environment—while also paying close attention to their behavior and comfort. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a specific routine, I adapt to each pet’s personality to keep them happy, healthy, and stress-free.
About: I have 3 dogs of my own and have been caring for dogs for over 10 years. I have experience at a dog boarding/daycare facility as well as boarding in my own home. I am currently unavailable on weekends but, I can care for your fur babies during the week before and after work! Monday-Friday 6a-8a and 2:30p-9p I do walks and drop in visits. Please let me know if I can bring treats! (and any allergies) I am comfortable walking 2-3 dogs at a time if you are a multi-dog household. If boarding, I have a fenced in back yard and a dog door that I open/close as needed. I have 3 dogs to keep yours company and to play with for their stay.

With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.

About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
