“We decided to stay over another day, Kind of a spontaneous decision, And of course we didn't have accommodations for our pets. So, we began calling around, also leaving messages through The Rover app, and asking different boarding availabilitys about having last minute booking. Not too many people responded. Janet, though, to my surprise, responded with a rapid message. I was surprised becaus in her brief bio and what some of her preferences were of clients, like a 7-Day meet and greet I was thinking like" she's she's definitely got her ways and she's not going to call me back !" Boom!! We had a booked appointment and our pets at our place, she was a little busy when we first contacted her which had a 1-hour delay which was fine, not too longer than an hour and a half after we contacted her. About: I'm a colon cancer survivor which fur babies have helped me through a lot I'm all about them and taking care of them because they have been all about me throughout my sickness.... Now that I'm a little better I want to give back to the unconditional creatures that gave to me in a time of need...I've had Weimaraners in my household for over 15 years and have had other fur babies and animals before that throughout my life, this chance that I could have to provide the love and care for the parents of those fur babies that need it. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and currently have 2 wonderful dogs that are very dog friendly. We have 2 acres for the dogs to roam I am a full time realtor and I write my own schedule. I can be flexible to your needs. I am open to various routines for multiple animals. I keep a very watchful eye on our animals as they share a space with our 4 daughters who also love animals. Our property is mostly fenced in and we are in a rural area.

About: I have extensive experience working with dogs and have trained over 300 dogs, as well as walked and cared for many more throughout my adult life. Before moving to the U.S., I completed certification in behavioral dog training in Canada. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I'm especially comfortable with dogs who are shy, skittish, stubborn, or slow to warm up. I love earning a dog's trust, and the hesitant ones often end up becoming some of my biggest fans! I'm also a dog owner myself. My dog is extremely social, well-mannered, and excellent on leash. When it's a good fit for both dogs, she can be a wonderful walking companion and can help model calm, confident behavior and good leash manners. Of course, I'm also completely comfortable caring for dogs individually when that's what they prefer. My training background means I pay close attention to canine body language and behavior, and I'm happy to reinforce the training, boundaries, and routines you already use at home. I also have experience caring for cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and other pets. Whether your pet is outgoing and ready to make a new friend or needs some extra patience and space, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I plan my schedule carefully so pets receive consistent attention, timely walks, feeding, and care without feeling rushed. I am currently a student online, so my schedule is flexible. I follow each pet’s routine closely and respect established walking, feeding, and training preferences. I can maintain structured routines or focus on play and enrichment, depending on what your pet responds to best. Safety, consistency, and clear communication are always my priorities.
