“We decided to stay over another day, Kind of a spontaneous decision, And of course we didn't have accommodations for our pets. So, we began calling around, also leaving messages through The Rover app, and asking different boarding availabilitys about having last minute booking. Not too many people responded. Janet, though, to my surprise, responded with a rapid message. I was surprised becaus in her brief bio and what some of her preferences were of clients, like a 7-Day meet and greet I was thinking like" she's she's definitely got her ways and she's not going to call me back !" Boom!! We had a booked appointment and our pets at our place, she was a little busy when we first contacted her which had a 1-hour delay which was fine, not too longer than an hour and a half after we contacted her. And she lives in West Branson not Springfield,BTW. SUPER KIND BIG HEART!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

About: I started out fostering puppies for a few years, one of which I kept as my foster fail, Emma! Emma loves to play with other dogs and would love the opportunity to hang out with yours while you get away for either work or fun. I have a full time job where I work from home, so would have plenty of time to care for your dog as needed. I am available most weeks and weekends. Since I have my dog, it would be essential to arrange quick meet and greets prior to committing. I have my dog Emma, who is a Saint Bernard mix. Though I just have her at the moment, she grew up with other dogs and loves the companionship. I recently constructed a fence for my backyard for ease of potty breaks, though stairs are necessary for this. Emma has free reign of the house while I am working, but I do have an x-pen and extra dog bed I could setup if needed. Emma takes daily medicine for her joints and thyroid, so I am used to giving medicine if your pup requires medicine as well.

“I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Samantha!!! My mom lives in Aurora Mo and I live 9 hours away in Wisconsin, my mom ended up in the hospital and I had no one to go let her dogs out. Samantha answered my message for help in just minutes saying she could assist with taking care of the dogs. She was even able to let them out and feed them the SAME NIGHT as my distress message. Set up 2 more visits for the next day as well because my dad wouldn’t be home until later that night. Samantha made me feel so at ease with entering my mom’s house without meeting her, taking care of my mom’s dogs that are her babies and locking back up! About: What sets me apart from other house sitters is that I’ve been a true cat person for as long as I can remember—my first word was actually “kitty-cat” (not even kidding!). I’ve cared for cats of all ages, from tiny kittens to senior cats—like my own 14-year-old cat, Prince, who’s in my profile photo. I’ve also had experience with special needs cats, including one that was blind. “Our three dogs visited with Laura and Nash for two days of doggie day care. They had a blast! They love staying at Laura's and came home both days completely tuckered out. They even had a down day the next day! I was out of town and my husband had all day commitments both days. It was such a relief to have Laura take our pups instead of keeping them kenneled at home. It was the first visit for one of our dogs, and she loved it just as much as our other two who have stayed with Laura several times. We are very lucky to have Laura and Nash to keep our pups safe and happy!”

About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

“Ashley took great care of my two dogs at her kennel. The only thing I would mention is that I had assumed she was watching them at her house when I booked her, but it was really where she is a groomer, so the dogs were kept in a kennel except during play & potty breaks. There were several other animals there. You could tell Ashley loves animals & they did great in her care.”
About: I have grown up with dogs since I was little. I have watched and feed firiends and neighbors dogs and cats. Dogs and cats are fun to have around as each has its own personality. I do work full time but afternoons, nights and weekends are available to help with your fur baby. I can be flexible with some of the services. I do have pets in the home to help keep your fur baby company. I will walk and play with your fur baby to endure to keep your fur baby busy.
About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and have owned and trained animals professionally for 7 years. I would love to take care of yours! I work from home on my farm, Longhorn Arena. Meaning I am with the animals 24/7. I ride and train horses professionally and run a rodeo arena. I live on property and have the perfect set up to care for your furry friends. I have 4 friendly dogs on property, and the set up to crate several dogs if necessary. The arena is set on 30 acres of pasture land. So they can sniff and explore to their hearts content, including running in the fenced arenas, as well as miles of walkable roads surrounding us. We are off a state highway so safety is my biggest priority.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and currently have 2 wonderful dogs that are very dog friendly. We have 2 acres for the dogs to roam I am a full time realtor and I write my own schedule. I can be flexible to your needs. I am open to various routines for multiple animals. I keep a very watchful eye on our animals as they share a space with our 4 daughters who also love animals. Our property is mostly fenced in and we are in a rural area.
About: Almost a lifetime of experience working with and training the best of the best and the challenging as well. Worked extensively with brachycephalys breeds in my bulldog rescue. I have also been fortunate to own and work closely with "pit bull" breeds as well. I have a connection with animals that can be seen almost immediately and love to work and share with them. I have an extensive network of friends and professionals from my years of volunteering and rely on them for any information I may not have. My schedule is flexible and I am looking forward to getting to know you and your pet as well as working together in a relationship as we build solid foundation of trust & openness. I prefer to care for your pets in their known and comfortable environment - their own homes! I am also able to provide a safe and loving environment on my own home.
