“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! He provided great updates, photos, and asked questions proactively whenever he wasn’t sure about something. “They did an amazing job with Nymeria. She was slow to warm up at first, but they kept me updated and reassured me that she was starting to come out of her shell and get comfortable. The communication they provided was very much appreciated and made me feel so much more comfortable knowing she was in a safe and loving environment. She is back home and sleeping soundly now, and I know she had a great time and received plenty of care and attention. It was such a relief knowing she was in good hands and not sitting in a cold kennel without much human interaction. I truly appreciated the care, patience, and communication throughout her stay.
