Upon entering Chloe‘s home it was obvious Jake immediately felt comfortable, safe and was treated like a member of the family and spoiled with his favorite things to do just like if he were at his own home. Until Chloe, Jake would only lay next to me. I was so happy when I received a picture of him so content laying next to Chloe. It was great knowing he was in such wonderful, caring hands. About: I have personally walked miles and miles with my own, very energetic Weimer. I had Cooper (my Weimer) for 14 years and we walked literally every single day, rain, snow, cold etc. We now have our 2nd Weimer and back at it again; love the exercise they provide for us!! I often walk my sisters dogs when she can’t due to health issues. I’m ready, and have my walking shoes on! I’m retired now and walking my dog keeps me moving and I love it! I worked several years as a veterinary technician for a large and small animal clinic in the 1980s until life took me in a different direction. I currently live on our small family farm. Me and my wife have a home in Joplin missouri with a huge privacy fenced back yard. Rest assured your pets will have plenty of space for play and relaxing. I am photographer and a stay at home dad! This gives me the opportunity to be home all day for plenty of play and potty breaks. Our son is one year old but is never unsupervised around any pets. They are also kept up to date on all vaccinations and are treated for fleas using Seresto collars. We do not have any issues with bugs of any kind and are a non smoking home. We do not use pesticides or weed killer of any kind and our yard is kept chemical free. We also keep water indoors to prevent bacteria from building up. We refresh water as needed.

About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

“Chloe is amazing!!! Jake was abused and abandoned before we adopted him in May. This is the first time we have left him. Upon entering Chloe‘s home it was obvious Jake immediately felt comfortable, safe and was treated like a member of the family and spoiled with his favorite things to do just like if he were at his own home. Until Chloe, Jake would only lay next to me. I was so happy when I received a picture of him so content laying next to Chloe. It was great knowing he was in such wonderful, caring hands. I’m a firm believer in building a relationship of trust with each dog and never pushing myself on them.
